This book had some good instructions, but the designs were not really of my style or a style that I would gift to other people. Might be good for people who are new and just learning how to paper cut and want ideas on how to create pop-ups.

Wasn't too keen on some of the art styles but there's plenty of great ideas in here.
Plus there's a few models at the beginning that you can pull out and make. Also, there's templates at the book of the book and some extra displays of art that other people have done.

Not much instruction and a boatload of art by others, it does included some online references. A lovely book, but not a keeper.

I loved how creative this book is, but yet it doesn't scare you off with insanely complicated projects. Some of the ideas I really liked were using a Christmas card and cutting out the main image so it can stand up away from the card like a pop up book. There was also a picture (provided in the back) of a Greek Revival structure that can be made into a pop up. Personally, I really liked the pop up rib cage inside of a card. Spooky!

I love pop-ups and this book was so fun to read/look at. There are templates and tutorials so you can create your own pop-ups, volvelles and other creations. A great bedtime book for me, fills my dreams with ideas!

This is a definite beginner book if you want to learn the basics of several types of paper cutting, from cards to tunnel books. Nothing too complicated or compelling here though, in my opinion.

It's a good start for beginners, however, it lacks explanatory steps.
Good introduction to different pop up models, but that's it.
