Love and hate aren’t all that different.

Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.

Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he knows what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.

I see the way he looks at me.

The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.

I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave this life and run away with him.

But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.

And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.

Jase might forgive me for what I’ve done.

But will he forgive me for the crimes I’m yet to commit?

5 Devastating and Begging for More Stars

If you haven't read the first 3 books in the Gypsy Brothers series, STOP reading my review immediately. Although it will be a spoiler free review of this book, it will contain some MAJOR spoilers of the previous 3. What are you thinking even reading this? Honestly!

Now then, let's move on to my ragey rant review, shall we?

That gif up here? That would have been me while reading this book yesterday. I was an emotional mess. You want to know what 16 chapters of anxiety feel like? Read this book!

3 books, over 3 months and many suspenseful and tension filled reading hours I've spent waiting for a certain secret of Sammi's to finally come to light. I've been agonizing over when Jase will finally find out the truth. And then when he finally, FINALLY does in the end of book 3, it ends. Suffice it to say I was a little upset

Thankfully I got my hands on this book after weeks of waiting, and it delivered on every promise I was hoping it would.

Lili's writing continues to not only blow me away, but get better with each new book. With each new chapter I get more and more sucked into Julliete's plan of vengeance and heartbreak.

Honestly, to give you even a little bit of details from this book would spoil the experience of reading it, so I won't even try. What I will tell you is Lili continues to trickle down information that effortlessly builds the whole picture. Things you may have questioned in the previous book receive answers in this one, yet still leaves you with more questions.

Then there was the endings. Holy mother of fucking cliffys!!

And by my room and processing it, I mean

So what's next for Julz and Jason? Only the twisted mind of Lili St. Germain knows. What I know? I will be right here, slowly dying a little each day in my wait for book 5...on fucking JULY 26.

***4 "Damn & Hell!!!" stars***

"I am afraid...
Terrified, anxious, strung out, waiting for my lies and my past to come crashing down around me...
I am afraid that I’ll never feel alive again...
That, once Dornan is finally dead, I still won’t feel any different.
That I’ll still be the ghost girl who’s dead inside.
Sometimes that fear is almost too much to bear."

Okay... Now, I'm truly scared!!!
After this ending, I'm terrified!!! Why??? Why??? Why???

I knew that this time will come sooner or later, but still... It took me by surprise!!!
And now, what will happen???

"But that's the funny thing about life. Nothing good ever lasts, not for me, anyway. You think you're the one with the power, at least I did, but then I got careless. One tiny mistake, and now I am powerless to stop what comes next....
Power is held by the one who owns you.
I had power once.
Now, I have nothing."

At the end of the previous book, Juliette did something extreme to end all the rest of Ross men, except Jase of course, but damn, she hadn't much success in her plan!!!

And now, Jase knows exactly who she is!!!
Will he be with her or against her??? After all, he is a Ross too!!!!

He knows everything.
No secrets, no lies separate them anymore.
"Are you really here? Are you real?"

"The strong girl, the fighter, she's gone and in her space is this meek, terrified child whose fate rests in the hands of the boy she used to love, the boy she still loves."

In here, we had mostly a get straight thing between Jase and Juliette...
But what will be the result???

Their love stayed untouched from all this ugliness, but will Juliette decide to leave her plans aside and to live her life with Jase???

“I’ll never be done with you... Even when you were dead, I wasn’t done with you. You haunted me for six fucking years. I’m still not sure you’re really here.”

And what about Dornan???
What will happen when he will wake up from the coma???

"He smirks as he delivers the final word in his sentence.
“Juliette.”"

Damn!!! I was wondering for almost everything in this book...
I don't know where Jase's trust lays... I don't know why he is staying near to Dornan after everything that he did to him and Juliette...

I don't know how they will be able to live together if Dornan is alive, especially since he had claimed Juliette as his....
And i really don't know what will happen now, after what happened at the end!!!!

Damn and hell!!!

"Jase, why didn't you leave?"
"Nobody saved me."

**5 Why won’t you just die, motherfucker? stars**

I swear I have a love-hate relationship with this series. Even though they're scaring the hell out of me, I truly enjoy them.

WARNING!

If you haven't read the previous books, this review may contain spoilers. Do not read if you don't want to get spoiled!

In this book, we see the aftermath of Juliette's actions, after she tried to go on with her plan to vanish the Gypsy family. Sadly, things didn't work out the way she had desired and now things are on stand by.

After the great ending on Five Miles we try to see how things are going to work after the revelations. We don't know how Jase is going to act about them, because after all he's also a Gypsy Brother.

He’s Dornan’s son. His blood runs through his veins.

Julz seems to consider this, but she can't help but feel emotions for him that could get lethal for her in the end. She knows that, but she can't really help it.

I trust him. I’ve always trusted him. But that trust scares the hell out of me. I’d follow him to the depths of hell if he asked me to, and I wouldn’t even ask why.

I really liked Four Score!! I had mentioned that the previous one was my favorite, but I was wrong. I think this one is the best. I appreciated the fact that there was more romance in this one

“What I want is to throw you up against this wall and erase any trace of him ever touching you. What I want is for you to be mine, and mine only.”

Finally, the ending...Oh my god. Lili St. Germain that was a cruel cliffhanger!! I'm simply petrified for the next book.

It's fragile, this peace of ours, but while it lasts? It's fucking perfect.

Four Score is the calm before the storm, a false sense of peace in limbo; sitting, waiting for everything to blow up in her face. Unsure of what Jase thinks of her she expects the worse but is taken back at how eerily quiet Jase is. She deserves his hate, his anger, but never did she think that after all these years there was a small chance, but how could it ever be, her actions and choices make it impossible for any kind of future with him.

Jase feels like he woke up from a really fucked up dream, it can't be her, he mourned her death so long ago, and now here she is standing right in front of him, but this time he isn't willing to sit by and just let her go. No matter how long it has been it always has been her for him and him for her. Sometimes no matter how much you love someone you can't let go of the need for vengeance but for now in their little bubble, they can pretend and just be, fuck the consequences, there is more time to think about it later.
It's like all my dreams and all of my nightmares have been realized in one messy, beautiful moment. I'm elated. I'm devastated. But mostly, I'm afraid.

Holy Shit, does not even sum up this book, the ending, DAMN! Even I have to say I was caught up in the limbo to the point it just threw me for a loop in the end. This book has so many possibilities and so far no matter the direction the author has taken it, I am not disappointed, it keeps getting better and better. I'm stuck here wondering, what happens next, where do they go from her, is she ever gonna find peace or will she die trying ?!? Another awesome addition to the series and I can't wait for the next one!

Three Years, the fifth book in the Gypsy Brothers series, will be released on July 21st, 2014. *SOBS*

Spoilers from Seven Sons, Six Brothers, and Five Miles will be inevitable in this review-
Spoilers from Four Score have spoiler tags.

4.75 I was being brought back to life. stars
I had accepted this. I was ready. I was ready to die.
And then a face appeared in my mind.
Jase. My dear boy.
I loved him. If there was even the slightest chance he was still alive, I had to hold on, for him.
I suddenly had to live.

Jax and Tara- Sons of Anarchy
As you should already know, Jase has realised that Sammi is Juliette! Get in there Jase, it took you long enough!

A quick summary of the series so far;
Sammi is Juliette, Jase's first and only love. She was raped and has supposedly died from her injuries. Sammi aka Juliette returns to the club and signs up to be a dancer. But what she ends up being is Dornan's whore. She end up murdering some of his sons, but, she decides to speed it up, so she puts homemade bombs inside the engines of Dornan's and his sons Harley's. But does not put it inside Jase's. And in the mean time Dornan is doing awful things to Sammi, such as stabbing her and leaving her to bleed out. When the bombs go off, she protects Jase, and he becomes suspicious. Jase then confronts her, and here we are!

OK, so now you're all caught up, let's get on with it!

So, Jase knows about Sammi/Juliette but

But Jase finally comes to a

Juliette has a few different expectations though,

There's a few... Uh... Minor details that I missed out, but if you've read it, you should already know what they are... ;)

Awesomely written, with no errors that I found. Great plot, and well executed!

The score’s only at four. And until it’s at seven? Love will have to wait.

When comparing this book to the others in the series, it really doesn't have much.. action going on.

In this book, we pick up from where it last ended in the last book. Jason knows that Sammi is Juliette, she has a lot of explaining to do.

Not everything is all daisies and roses, there's a lot of speculation going on.

Jason still can't get over the fact that Juliette's alive, but never came to find him. and the fact that she slept with his father.. *shudders.

Even though Juliette loves Jason, she can't help but question him in the back of her mind. "Dornan has done something so horrible to someone he loved, why hasn't he done anything to stop him?" She feels she can't 100% trust him due to his passive relationship with Dornan.

OF COURSE we are left with another cliffhanger, and of course it's a big one!! 3 more books left!! I think.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this story just keeps getting better and better :)

Now that someone knows something, I'm wondering how it will go down for them.... Won't be pretty that's for sure.

FOUR DOWN, THREE MORE TO GO

He knows everything.
No secrets, no lies separate them anymore.
"Are you really here? Are you real?"

Jase and Eliot with their guns pointing at each other. Juliette in the middle. The three of them need to do some catching up.
"Why did you wait 6 years without doing anything?"

"I had power once. Now, I have nothing."

The only thing I would like to add in this review is that I am scared of what I am going to read in the next book.

Okay, I will take a deep breath, I will relax, and say to myself:
'I am willing to continue. I will continue. I release all tension. I release all fear.'

I am really happy that I waited this long to read Gypsy Brothers, because that ending - killed me!
Four Score is finally offering some depth to the story and moves past usual "kill another son" twist.
I love Jase. And Elliott. And Juliette. Especially Juliette!

With three sons down, who will be next? Will Jase find out Juliette's true idenity? How will he react? Will he forgive her?

Will Juliette get that much closer to the ultimate prize? Annihilation of the Gypsy Brothers MC?

And with Dornan getting that much closer to the truth, will this possibly be Juliette's last score to settle? Or her demise?

A DEFINITE MUST READ that kept me on my toes with its twists and turns and heart pounding action!!

Four Score Excerpt:

“You don’t need to be sorry for anything,” I mumble, shaking my head. “Just don’t talk about Elliot like that, okay? If not for him, I really would be dead.”

“Well,” Jase says, his entire demeanor gentler and more cautious as he continues to glance at my wrists. “I suppose I should be thanking him, then.”

I smile sadly.

“I mean, I won’t thank him,” Jase adds quickly. “That fucker wants to kill me. But for you. That was a good thing he did.”

“Yeah,” I say sheepishly. “Well, he knows how I feel—” I catch my faux pas — “felt about you. It’s the reason he broke up with me.”

Jase’s eyes light up at that, his eyebrows practically touching the ceiling above us. “He broke up with you because of me?”

“I kept calling out your name in bed,” I explain. Jase laughs a low, throaty sound that makes me blush as I realize what I’ve just said. “Not like that.”

Jase is still laughing and choking on a mouthful of vodka at the same time. “Are you sure?” he manages in between laughing and coughing.

I roll my eyes. “Nightmares, Jason. Not the other thing.”

His smile vanishes and he straightens again, any bit of humor or lightness completely wiped from his face. Idiot! I fervently wish I hadn’t said what I said.

“Aw, fuck,” he says, frowning again. “I’m sorry.”

“Stop saying sorry,” I admonish him with a small smile, trying to diffuse the tension that’s once again settled on us like a pillow held forcefully to the face. “You have nothing to be sorry for.”

Only me, and my lies on top of more lies.

He doesn’t seem convinced. “I do.”

I shake my head. “No, you don’t. You almost got killed by your own family trying to save me. There’s no shame in that.”
There it is again. We’ve been dancing around that afternoon, that day when I almost died, that five or so hours of horror and pain.

“I should have fought harder,” he said, his shoulders slumping. “I go over it in my head all the time, you know. I could have taken the gun and shot him. I could have gotten us out somehow.”

I place a steady hand on his knee. He’s wearing thick denim jeans, but I can still feel the warmth of his skin radiating underneath.

“There was nothing either of us could have done differently.” It’s taken me years and many breakdowns to realize that neither of us were to blame for what Dornan orchestrated that day. I’ll forever regret that I couldn’t somehow save my father and the woman he loved, but I forgave myself for being powerless in the wake of our collective destruction around the same time that the abortionist was sucking the remnants of a product of rape from my womb.

I’m momentarily transported back to the past, to the moment the mask was lifted from my face a little under six years ago, the moment the doctor smiled underneath her surgical mask and told me it was done. I’d been emptied of their sins, painfully absolved, but it was still many years before I’d been filled again with the hope of my vengeance against them.

So when Jase clamps his grip on my hand and squeezes tightly, it’s almost as if I’m falling, tumbling back into the present to sit beside him, my hand at his knee, an angry film covering each of his eyes.

“I should have killed them all the first chance I got,” he says, his face twisted into a mask of rage and pain.

I lean forward, placing my hand on his hot cheek, and when he doesn’t recoil, I smile.

“There’s still time,” I whisper softly, to the first boy I ever loved.

4.5 stars!

OMG!!!!!! I honestly need a moment to gather my thoughts after this one.....!

So, the story goes on from where it was left in the end of Five Miles. To be honest, somewhere in the middle, I've started doubting this instalment of the series. I start wondering if Ms. St. Germain has already given her best writing to us. Happily I was wrong. Oh boy, I was so wrong! The plot is so well-thought and the twists and details that take place in Four Score are fantastic! There was also so much emotion in this book that I had tears in my eyes. The writing remains intense, raw and beautiful and I honestly love it!

Julz has lost her clearity in this book. I think she gets tired with everything that is happening and she is loosing her focus. She is also very stubborn and I have to admit that she annoyed me this time.

Dornan doesn't appear a lot in this one and it's a good thing for me. Elliot is stille the protector. Jase is still the young boy and true love.

The end of the book was something else. This time, the end was crazy! I didn't see it coming, I didn't suspect it and I hated/loved it. Well, you know what I am going to do next, right? I will start immediately the next one because I need to know what happens next!

I definitely recommend this series to everyone who likes a dark story and I won't get tired of mentioning it! These books are fantastic!!!

I just friggin LOVE this series! It is so different from anything that I have read before. It is dark, raw, and at times gruesome. It is not all dark though, and there are moments of love and let us not forget the hot, passionate sex between Juliette and Jase! These two together have history, and they have sexual chemistry that is off the charts! My fingers are crossed that they will one day find some kind of happily ever after with one another. Will that happen? It is anybody's guess at this point in the series. This is not your lovey dovey romance story. This is a story about revenge, and it is hardcore and violent at times. Juliette is one tough cookie; but she has been through so much to get that tough. What was done to her all of those years ago was down right brutal, and I can very much understand her desire to make those men pay for their vicious attack on her. The trouble is, when all is said and done; will her troubles really go away? I am thinking she will still have the nightmares, and the gruesome memories of her terrible violation. That kind of thing just doesn't go away.

Then there is Jase. This is his family that Juliette is trying to kill. How does he really feel about the woman he loves trying to harm them? Will he try and stop her, or will he honor her need to slaughter the monsters who brought her all that trauma and took her father's life? There continues to be so many questions, and so much unkown in this series. I am loving every minute of this journey though, and I can't wait to see how this will all play out!

This is a must read series for readers who like a little darkness in their stories! Lili St. Germain is a very talented author, her writing is smooth and it packs a punch too. I have loved that I haven't had to wait long for the next installments to come out as well! In "Four Score" there is a cliffy; which I can't stand cliffy's! In this case though, I am confident that I will not have to wait too long to find some answers that I'm looking for!
Bring it on Ms. St. Germain! I am eager to see where you will take us next on this bumpy ride through hell!

HoLy NuN's RiDiNg CoWs - WHOA for me by far the best novella in the series.

NO it wasn't all guns blazing like in the other novella's!!

It was more concentrated on Juliette's and Jase's relationship.

And their lust for each other...

Damn it, Julz, you could burn the whole world down and I'd still forgive you."

T*R*U*S*T* - Can Juliette trust Jase?

L*U*S*T* - Yes no matter what has happened they definitely lusted after each other.

M*U*S*T* - Juliette must seek her revenge....it's consuming.

Although each novella is short they certainly pack a punch, and if you haven't read them yet...I say go read them NOW you won't be disappointed!!

Bring on the next.....

* * * * * 5 Best so Far Stars * * * * *

Terrified, anxious, strung out, waiting for my lies and my past to come crashing down around me.

Juliette has been to hell and back, and after years of plotting her revenge she thinks she has finally succeeded. Only to find out that Dornan has survived, and is in a coma. I swear nothing can kill this bastard!!

Jace thought he lost her forever, and still has nightmares about her death.

In this installment of Gypsy Brothers, Jace discovers that Sammie is Juliette and what her plan is for his brothers and father. Jace and Juliette have to over come a lot and learn to trust each other again.

Watching these two together, trying to navigate the past, hurt and doubt was fantastic.

“I’ll never be done with you,” Jase mumbles, taking a fresh swig of vodka and grimacing as it no doubt burns his throat. “Even when you were dead, I wasn’t done with you. You haunted me for six fucking years. I’m still not sure you’re really here.”

There isn’t much left to say without giving away any spoilers, which I would never do because this series is amazing and I want everyone to read it. I will say that this was my favorite so far in the series.

The ending…Holy effing crap batman!!!

Cliffhanger central…I will never survive waiting on this book!!

4.5 Holy Cow What an Ending-Stars

AAAAhh Lili, do you want to give me a heart attack or what?? This ending was worse than one from SOA!! My pulse was over the roof with what you've written ;) damn you for torturing me further with a snippet of Three Years...

Four Score takes off with a BAM and we learn what's going on in Juliette's mind (yeah I'm not referring to her as Sammi anymore because in the book she's 99% Juliette now).

I am afraid...
I'm afraid that I'll never feel alive again...
...but that's my fear. That once, Dornan is finally dead, I still won't feel any different.

Poor thing, she failed and she doesn't know what to do with it. She's afraid, thought her plan was bullet proof. Now Jase nows; when will Dornan know? What about Elliot? Sweet Elliot who still loves her with all her heart... But her heart, it's always belonged to only one. To one boy who stands now with a gun and anger in his eyes in front of her at the hospital where Dornan is in a coma. This damn bomb didn't kill him; her love looks at her with betrayal; her cover blown.

But she's wrong. Not only is Juliette a good actor, Jase too. What she sees is hurt, confusion, love, and longing.
He never stopped loving his Juliette and can't believe that the girl who is suppose to be dead since six years was under his nose all this time.

Oooh Juliette, I'm so happy for you that finally you don't have to hide anymore, at least in front of one person. And gosh their reunion was sweet, wild, and passionate.

"What I want is to throw you up against this wall and erase any trace of him ever touching you. What I want is for you to be mine, and mine only."

Despite their reunion, not everything is all right; she has a agenda and even Jase can't stop her. They argue but in the end, he's right. Her curiosity will kill her.

But she didn't listen; now she's in a situation where she knows she won't make it out alive.

...Curiosity killed the cat, Juliette...

Yeah, be prepared when reading it, you might need a shot afterwards to calm down your nerves!!

We all know Jason knows now.
Without giving too much away this part of the story is painful to read.
So much hurt and anger and sadness.

These two getting closer and catching up with each others lives (which now I REALLY want to know more about! BTW)

There is some serious tension in this book. and then we get some very serious Sex scenes. Off the charts HAWT!

But at the end of the day Sammi/Julz has one thing in mind.

Revenge.

She has to follow through with her plans.

and there is more still to go. As well as Dornan.

As mentioned above in typical Lili fashion, she sucks you right in from page one of this dark and gritty, amazingly different story and you will not put it down! I smashed it one 3 hour sitting! The perfect amount of everything. Clues and hints are thrown around. we still need a lot of answers and have more questions.

and then

BOOM!

Bomb drops. Last page.

Lili's laughing and it's see you in July suckers!

But honestly? it's a prefect fucking thing to do as I know I will be there on release day waiting to get my fix.

The Gypsy Brothers series have become my addiction.

Loving this series. Each book has some great twists and still manages to fit sexy & hot in just a few pages! I am sure we will be treated to more surprises in the next instalment. Jase is going to have his hands full!
