Unraveling Connections
Luc’s hurt and we have no idea what’s going on or how long it’s going to take for him to recover. Not even Mr R knows what’s poisoned him, and he’s refusing to let me pay Luc’s father a visit, knowing it would get bloody.

For the love of fluff. That's the cliffhanger we get? 🙄Please, for the love of this series, get an editor that will be strict with you. The writing has gone straight downhill. There is NO need to give us dialogue from every character, just repeating the same thoughts over and over again, and then go on in the POV to explain it, yet again. Whomever or whatever you were using for the Black Onyx series is what you need to go back to using. I love this series, but you're making it difficult to read. I'll even help if you want. Just please fix it.

Spellcheck, Please!!
Nikita, I've read all 10 of this series, so if there are more to come? Please invest in a dictionary or a spell checker or better proof readers. The only irritating thing about this series was your disturbing habit of not knowing the difference between the ground and the floor. The characters were well written the story was believeable, and I enjoyed it until I got to pages where you didn't know between being outside, on the ground. Or inside on the floor.

Really enjoyed
This book really kept me on my toes. I really kept thinking something was going to happen, like Ever or one of the guys being hurt or taken again and it really got my blood pumping.
I was really excited at midnight to be able to read this book as I feel like I've been waiting for ever but now I've done I've just realised that I have to wait for the next in the series and that could be a year 🥺
I could quite happily binge another 10 books one after the other with Ever and her sexy men 😍
I'm glad we came back to the number she was given years ago because I hate when stories give us a direction to follow but then get forgotten along the way.
I have to be honest though, I was really hoping the number was going to be someone who told Ever that her father was not her real Dad and lead her to a loving parent.
Let's be honest, would her father have run away with her and kept her the way he did with no love at all for no reason? He could have left when he thought his wife was dead and left Ever with the friends.
In my mind, he kept her because he knew he would need her for something in the future because he didn't love her. He was cruel, abused her and we can't even use the excuse that she was Shadow because that didn't happen till years later.?????
Then I thought that maybe he was going to use her to get money out of his in-laws by selling her to them but he never did.
So my last thought is a bit out there, what if Liam is her real Dad? Yes he is also the father of Atlas, but maybe Atlas is not Liams by blood??? This would be a good reason for Liam to be so fond of Ever. Could be why Atlas was not very close to the family and also why Blake was so interested in getting Ever??🤪🤔🤔🤔 He was jealous of her because Liam loved her as his own and wanted to keep her safe.
All I know is I hope Hunt is not her father if we are going down this road and also that her mother was a terrible person. She obviously was so jealous and I think that's the real reason she didn't want to take Ever with her. Even Liam was saying that she was a jealous woman and he never told her that he used to see Ever and give her money for food. You would think a mother would be so happy that their child was being somewhat looked after.
Keep the books coming Nikita please.

Great Addition To The Ongoing Story
If you’ve already been reading this series then it should come as no surprise that it’s as good as the others in the series. Enjoy!
If this is all new to you then that makes things more complicated…
It’s an RH story line set in current contemporary America. FMC is Ever, she’s had a difficult life her Mum died of cancer when she was younger and his Father became heavily involved in criminal activity. It was a coin toss between abuse and neglect, there was nobody there for her she’d been ripped away from her group of friends when her father moved them away from home. So Ever had to do everything for herself from education to survival skills, she became a child assassin as a means to avoid sexual abuse. The trouble is she was good at it, really good so of course her father weaponised her. Hiring out the elusive “Shadow”.
Ever, helped people when she could, not everyone on the list of names she was given deserved to die. Those that did deserve it weren’t worth a second thought. She never forgot her home though and that’s what the series is about, finding her way back to her guys and now they’re all grown up in the best of ways.

Yes! I finally made it through all the books. It's been a wild ride and I'm not sure how I managed to binge all of these books in 4 days - and I worked a full day yesterday!
Despite all the trigger warnings associated with this series, I have enjoyed my time spent with Ever and her men. I think that Atlas and Rage are my favourites out of her sizeable harem, and the ever sassy Peter is just such a wonderful counterbalance to Ever's troubled self. Blazed through this, had fun reading all the little side quests and other interruptions to the main investigation. Though having Liam more attentive to Ever than his own son is something that I hope will be further explored in future books. Loved the cliffhanger ending, but not great when I've got about 10 months left before I can find out what happens after lights out.
3.75 stars

I have to give this book 3 stars. I keep reading this series, because I love Ever and her guys.
Unfortunately, while yes it has romance or sex in it, it feels lackluster. I know I have said this before, but it always seems to be with the same guys. Or the POV is always the same 4 people.
I understand that this is a long series, the author said it would possibly be 20+ books.
I started reading for the harem and I do enjoy the plot for the most part, but when the book is 95% plot and 5% kissing and maybe a coupld sex scenes, it just feels off. I'll keep reading, but I would love to go back to that first few books, where it felt like it was about them as a harem, not about what they can do.

Wow
This is a wonderfully exciting series, with a number of twist and turns. There are characters that are changing and not as bad and others that you thought were good and turns are bad. Evers and her family are friends are an exceptional group of characters with being not all good but not bad, helping those that need it. I’m so looking forward to the next adventure for Ever, her guys and her bestie’s! Thank you Nikita Parmenter for writing a wonderful exciting series and I look forward to reading more of your stories.

Good but too long and drawn out after 10 books
This series has been great and enjoyable (but you have to get past the constant use of the phrase "that makes sense," which appears at least once in each chapter. But it's being drawn out far too much now. There are already 10 books, and just from this book alone, I'd say there is a lot of unfinished business that needs explaining, but instead, there are a whole new set of problems to deal with. I really hope the next book is the last one and ties everything up for us as that's it for me.

Holy crap I love Nikitas books!
Ever and her guys are definitely my favourites of her though.
Have been desperately waiting to see how luc is following book 9, and was so damn grateful
Some questions from the past are being answered and it seems like things with hunt are coming to a (hopeful) end
But what's happening with Jynx? How is Ever going to deal with her mums funeral? And once again... that ending!

Ever nd her men are still on the case to take Hunt down. Every lead they get makes them feel like he is always one step ahead. As they discover more of his dealings they have come to realize that they can't just take him in they will have to do this case their way. That ending makes me want the next very soon to see if they guys and Ever come out of this one.

ummm i didn’t know we would have another book and now i’m anxious
i thought the cliffhanger was something related to hunt but ok, maybe in the next book he’s going to use this in his favor
this book had more action but i feel that we are letting hunt play too much and trying to relate everything into his story

The writing and editing is just awful. I’ve just re-read the entire series, the first 6 books are good, but after that each book just goes downhill. It’s long winded and boring, the characters are great but they are almost like cartoon characters with the way it’s all drawn out. I’m even wondering if it’s a different author as the writing style is so different.
If there are to be more books, it’s got to get better.

Ever and her men
I absolutely adore Ever's story and it just keeps going. Never a dull moment, they always are into something and the plot has grown but flowed from each book. Book 10 and I still love the action, suspense, and her relationship with each guy. There's always a twist and something unexpected! I devoured the book in a sitting!

Oh man!!
I was thinking this was the last book, but it’s not. And it left me with a cliffhanger. I’m so hoping the next book will come out soon.
This series is the bomb!! It is so entertaining. Keeps you on your toes. Wondering what’s going to happen next. Absolutely love it 😍 Nikita, I need more!!

Good Read
This was another brilliant instalment in one of my favourite series to read. I loved the story and it really felt like this one was heading towards the start of something big and the cliffhanger at the end has left me dying to read the next book. I would highly recommend giving this book a read.

Book Ten
Still unfinished. The saga continues and feels like old friends. The writing style has changed. There's a lot of talking about what they're going to do, not much doing. We're still after Hunt and old characters reappear. I hope this series ties up this storyline soon.

awesome book
So much went down in this book . I can’t wait until they take out that evil jerk. I want to know Liam’s story because things aren’t adding up and he need him to shed some light on what the heck happened in the past and what’s going on now.

This is an amazing series. Lots of action, romance, and great character growth. Ever and the boys take care of business and each other. Lots of cliff hangers but worth it. Cannot wait for the next book in the series.
