In life, we encounter unexpected twists and turns, surprising opportunities, and occasionally, second chances.
This book kicks off with Margot receiving devastating news, but instead of leaning on her loved ones, she chooses to keep it a secret. As her friends and family notice something's off, they dig deeper, revealing the truth. The fast pace felt rushed for my taste, which detracted from the emotional depth. Still, it was an intriguing story that kept me engaged. Thanks to NetGalley and the author for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Margot receives the devastating news that she has cancer. The book follows her journey through treatment.
The pace of this book is fast, and I mean FAST! So fast that there is no character development and no depth whatsoever. Fortunately it’s a very short book otherwise I would have given up. If I had been told that it was the plot outline for an as yet to be written book, I would not have been surprised, but I am surprised that this is the finished article, complete with many grammatical errors.
