I really wanted to love this book and at the beginning I really did like it. Matteo is such a great MMC. He’s the type of Don who is hard and unforgiving towards everyone BUT his girl. He was so good to Lili. Sweet and protective. But Lili completely ruined this book for me.
I don’t typically like secret baby books. If they find out early on it’s fine but if it’s drags on I hate it so much and that’s what happened here. Matteo saved Lili and their sons lives. He takes them in to live in his home, he treats Callum (the son) so great. Him and Lili and sleeping together (sex and all) and this man has no idea that Callum is his kid. Lili has no intention of telling him either. She’s all “he can be a good male role model for my son without him knowing he’s his dad” like wtf? Don’t you think both of them deserve to know!! She doesn’t tell Mateo that Callum is his son until 62% into the book!!!! That’s INSANE!!! He’s soo mad at her, rightfully so, that he ignores her for days. And what does she do? Plays victim like omg he’s so mad at me I’m not going to be where I’m not wanted and then proceeds to leave and tries to take THEIR son back to Italy without even saying anything! Like girl! You already kept his son away for two years and now you’re just leaving again because he gave you the silent treatment that you very much deserved?!!! Ugh I hated her so much! She needed to grovel more.
All these stars are for the MMC. It’s so frustrating when the FMC ruins the book. Because this book had ZERO OW drama! He didn’t think or talk about a single other woman. We aren’t sure if he’s celibate for the three years but I told myself he was because he literally never talks or thinks about it.

3,5 ⭐️ I really enjoyed the mafia side of this story, it was well-written and had me hooked from the start. Lilianna and Matteo were amazing; I truly loved their personalities 🥹 But somewhere along the way, their spark started to fade, and by the end, the chemistry just didn’t hit the same. I’m a bit disappointed because I wanted that initial intensity to last 🙍🏻♀️ Still, it was an entertaining read with a strong opening.

Let me start this by saying I don’t normally seek out any book with babies or pregnancy in them but secret baby sometimes gets me for some reason. I love a good groveling MMC. This didn’t give me that, but I did still enjoy it! Also there wasn’t a TON of focus on Callum. We just knew he existed lol
I love badass FMCs. I love reading about a woman who can fight whether with her hands, guns or even her words. Just a woman who understand her place in the world and the power she has. Lilliana gave me that. I loved her relationship with Matteo too. He didn’t steam roll her. If anything he was a bit too protective but he tried his best to let her stand up for herself.
This was very well written in my opinion! I enjoyed the fight scenes and they didn’t drag on. The spice was amazing and I loved that office scene so so much! Everything wrapped up nicely too. I wasn’t left with questions or wondering what else could have happened.

This book is perfect
Matteo is literally a forest flag — calm, kind, respectful, protective, and mature... he's like he came out of nature itself, pure and comforting.
Throughout the story, he understands Liliana, respects her, and supports her revenge for her family. He never insulted her in front of anyone — not even in private.
And the cutest thing? Her name from his lips — “Lili” — I’M MELTING🙂↔️❤✨!
He stayed loyal to his friend Silas, Liliana’s brother, and kept his promise to protect her.
He always thought about his men and about Lili, asked for her opinion in every step, and respected her choices — literally the perfect man.
He always put Lili first — her healing, her words, her everything.✨❤
Even when Liliana lied and told him that Callum wasn’t his son, he still said he didn’t mind raising him and being a father figure — I cried.🥲❤✨
Liliana is such a strong heroine. Physically, she knows how to fight, use weapons and knives — she’s experienced.
That was really good — she depended on herself, stood her ground, didn’t wait for Matteo to save her every time.
She fought for her life, protected herself and her son, and always made Callum’s safety her number one priority.
She was brave and smart.✨
The only thing I didn’t like was when she ran away from Matteo because of her overwhelming emotions. I understood her, but still — she could’ve talked to him one more time and cleared things up.
-Thank God, Matteo chased after her and saved us from the “breakup drama”!-
His reaction when he found out Callum was his son felt so realistic. I don’t blame him — having a son for three years and not knowing?
She left, hid the truth for another month after returning…
He had every right to feel hurt and betrayed.
He missed watching his son’s first steps, first words — and that hurts.
But even in his pain and anger, he stayed focused on protecting Lili and Callum.
Even when he stayed away, it was just to cool down and avoid hurting her in a moment of rage — I love him so much.
Callum himself is the sweetest little thing! Saying “mama–dada” in his tiny voice — a walking bundle of cuteness.

The perfect older brother. Protective, loving, strong.
Her memories of him kept her going.
He trained her, protected her, was her friend — her everything.
His death was the most painful part of the story.
He never got to meet Callum. Never got that one last conversation with Lili.
He was betrayed and killed by the woman he trusted — on what was supposed to be a happy day… and she turned it into a massacre.
He’s the most tragic character.
He, like Liliana, never wanted the mafia life — but was forced into it.

I loved it! Read it in a day. Loved the trope and was eager to see the main character’s reaction. I wasn’t disappointed.

This is Lilianna and Matteo's story. It starts with a wedding and the action doesn't stop. It has several twists that aren't the standard in the Mafia world. Lilianna left when she said no to an arranged marriage and unbeknownst to her family or Matteo, she was pregnant. She returns for her brother's wedding & finds that Matteo has become Don. The review is a high overview in order not to give anything away.
The action grabs the reader from the first page and keeps you interested. Lilianna is a strong woman who's created a wonderful life for herself and her son. She was trained along with her brother. Matteo is allied to her father and friends with her brother. The one issue I had was the timing when the secret was revealed. I thoroughly enjoyed the strong female lead. While she didn't want to be put in the position she was, she did what she needed to do. She protected her son and got on with what needed to be done. She was Matteo's equal in every way. One of the best mafia books I’ve read. Excellent storyline and excellently written.
This book has everything. Lilliana, a mafia daughter that wants to get out of the life. A mafia Don, who falls in love with Lilliana. Warring families are trying to take each other out and blame each other for their losses. And of course there’s always the Russians who blame everybody else for everything. And what do they want to do? Kill everybody else and take over everything. An excellent book. Matteo and Lilliana‘s love started years ago, but they have just now reignited their passion for each other. Can it last? Can Liliana come back to the mafia life that she was so desperate to be rid of? Matteo is so desperately in love with her that he will do anything to keep her this time. An awesome, awesome book. I loved it.

This is a very well written story with a captivating plot and strong characters that hooks your attention right from the beginning and held’s it throughout the story. It was a binge worthy unputdownable read. The premise of the story might not be unique however the way the author has written the story and the plot flows makes it an enjoyable read . I love strong female characters and Liliana was a strong character with a back bone. Both Liliana and Matteo’s character were likable and I enjoyed their chemistry. This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed the author writing style and look forward to reading more books by the author. If you enjoy a good mafia romance with action , romance and good storytelling then I would highly recommend reading this story.

I was torn on how to rate this book. I LOVED both the MMC and FMC. I loved their angsty past. I loved that the action started from the very first page. I could see myself falling in very deeply into many books in this author’s world. (The editing is very good, too!)
My chief complaint—the spicy sections just weren’t spicy for me. I know that every romance-novel reader has their preferred tropes, but I was disappointed that all this heat was building between our mains and then fizzled on the page. Spicy scenes need spicy descriptions!

I love nothing more than brothers' best friends and throw in a secret child, and I hooked from beginning to end! This book, though, starts out with a literal bang, the heartbreak and betrayal that leads Lilly on a journey she thought she left behind 3 years ago. She has to find the straight and courage from deep within herself to face the past and present to give herself and her son a future they deserve. She is not alone though, she has Matteo, her brothers best friend and someone she used to love, and those feelings are all coming back way too strong. This was a quick read, intense on the betrayal, but leaves you with a guaranteed HEA.

This is Matteo and Lilianna's story. This is a wonderfully written, captivating story. Lilianna left home and has been gone for three years. She has secrets, but needs to return to attend a family wedding. At the wedding things become deadly for the Genovese family. This story is action-packed, with twists and turns, secrets, violence, revenge, betrayal and steamy scenes.

Great book!
Wow! I loved this book!
Lilianna and Matteo are so very good together. A Mafia princess turned DON and A Mafia DON.
Matteo was her brother's long tike friend and he had always been around. She left after their one night together. She ran and hid a very big secret from everyone. Matteo and Lilianna had a son and she had to keep him safe!
I love how Matteo and Lilianna overcame so much to be together.
This book is filled with action, spice, and love. Definitely a great book!

Stronge together
I enjoyed story because the heroin cam across week. But this was not the case. She wanted a normal life for herself and her son.
She was able to escape with her brother's. She was pregnant with his best and didn't want killed because the man her father chose for her wouldn't accept her pregnant.
When she came back for her brother's wedding, she was the father of her baby, because he wss he was the best manI her out of the way because he knew they would kill her righy there. That's when he wanted his answers.
There are some spoilers, but there aren't enough to take away the stiry. Excellent story.

This was a wonderful story. we are taken along in the journey of Lilianna and Matteo. They meet again when she returns home and the life she fled, namely the mafia. She is back because her brother gets married and they go there with her father and instead of enjoying it, it ends before it starts when she witnesses their deaths. Now that there is danger, salvation comes for her. A wonderful story with action, danger, tension, drama, violence and lots of steamy and hot scenes.

My cover on my kindle us way different. This book was absolutely fantastic action love and revenge. I liked that the girl was tough and not weak. Matteo was her first love and her brothers best friend that became Don herself left the mafia life only to come for a short visit to see her brother get killed by his fiance and now she wants revenge. Matteo and lillianna seek out revenge only for them to rekindle their hearts and oh did I mention she has a child that Matteo has no idea he's the father..great read I highly recommend this book

Matteo and Lilianna will have you all caught up in this thrilling story. A great book by a really wonderful author who can capture your attention from the very first page and have you turning the kindle pages to find out how everything comes together for the characters. That is exactly what this book about Lilianna and Matteo did to me. What a book that has romance, secrets and more romance. Be ready for some surprises along the way that make this book even more exciting than ever.

The title is misleading. I throughly seek out and enjoy books with the arranged marriage trope. The title suggests this would be the case, however the FMC had run away to avoid an arranged marriage to a man other than the MMC. The book was well-written however I felt that we should have been given more details regarding the circumstances leading to Jeremy’s death, as that was the reason for the Russians declaring war on the FMC and her family.

Loved it!!
Loved reading Mafia Don’s Secret Baby. This book is one of those books that just pulls you in and makes it impossible to put down and oh boy I couldn’t put this book down. Lilianna and Matteo’s story is action packed and the chemistry between them was steamy HOT and I loved their story!!

This is Lilianna and Matteo's story. It's a very well written story with a captivating plot, strong characters, and good storytelling. I absolutely loved it and read it in a day. The action, romance and unexpected twists kept me intrigued. Highly recommend reading it and look forward to reading more from the author.
