Can you trust me, Lady Darkhelm?

Perhaps. Perhaps not. But… what choice do you have?

The West has fallen, and Daine and her allies are in full retreat. Following her disastrous confrontation with the Trellecs, the Knight of the Road finds herself trapped behind the walls of Swinford—with no chance of escape. The King’s Army is at their door, and betrayal waits around every corner. With Eliud and Kirsten waylaid elsewhere on their quest to recover Genoes from the Dark God, Lady Darkhelm stands alone.

As all seems lost, a familiar face from Daine’s past emerges. But whose side is the Stonehand on? Time will tell, though it may be too late already.

BardLyre's Stonehand is the second instalment of a grimdark LitRPG fantasy adventure series that thousands have already come to love through Royal Road. Dive in today, and brace yourself for a tale you'll never forget!

I'm Hooked! - A Gripping Dark Fantasy Adventure

I just finished reading "Stonehand" by BardLyre, and I'm still reeling from the experience. This book is the second installment in the series, and it's even better than the first!

Daine, aka Lady Darkhelm, is a complex and relatable protagonist. Her struggles to survive in a world filled with betrayal and danger had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't help but root for her as she navigated the treacherous landscape.

The world-building is incredible, with a dark and immersive atmosphere that drew me in. The city of Swinford feels alive, with its own secrets and dangers lurking around every corner.

The introduction of Stonehand, a mysterious figure from Daine's past, added an exciting layer of complexity to the story. I was constantly guessing whose side they were on!

What I love most about this series is its unique blend of fantasy and LitRPG elements. It's like being transported to a gaming world, but with real characters and emotions.

If you're a fan of dark fantasy, adventure, or LitRPG, you need to read this series!

Can't wait for the next installment!

Cracking sequel

A much anticipated sequel to Darkhelm, I devoured this in one sitting. I very much enjoyed following the further adventures of Daine et al and found the setting of the big set piece battles a nice development on the first. When’s the third one :)
