The End of Time and the Beginning of Everything

Rate this book
The idea of the Omega Point has been around for centuries in Christianity, and it is often associated with the Second Coming of Christ. In the book of Revelation, Jesus is described as coming down from heaven to earth to judge the living and the dead. This event is often seen as the culmination of history, and as the time when God will finally establish his kingdom on earth. The Omega Point is also seen as the time when all of creation will be restored to its original state of perfection, and when all of humanity will be united in love with God. The concept of the Omega Point is first mentioned in the writings of the early Christian theologian Origen of Alexandria (185-254 AD). Origen believed that the history of the world was moving towards a final goal, which he called the "apokatastasis," or restoration of all things. In Origen's view, the Omega Point would be a time when all of creation would be reunited with God, and when all of humanity would be saved.
