More Than Just A Kiss

Rate this book
It was just a kiss.

Just a desperate, panic-induced kiss to my childhood crush to keep the power-hungry socialite moms from tearing the remnants of my family’s reputation limb-from-limb.

Or that’s what I kept telling myself.

Between work and school, I don’t have time for boys or dating. And even if I did, there’s no way on Earth that the rich and handsome Eddie Dixon would want anything to do with me. Obviously I was grateful that he agreed to play along so I wouldn’t be thrown out with the trash at his brother’s wedding, but what am I supposed to think when he doesn’t want the charade to stop?

Is he really just some shallow private-school boy who wants help keeping the gold diggers at bay?

Or did that kiss awaken something that had been hiding between us all along…

The sweetest retelling of the Sleeping Beauty.
The first book of this series is filled with charm from the start. In this retelling of Sleeping Beauty, Alya and Eddie's journey will keep you reading, as they overcome their problems and chase their happily ever after. A sweet and enjoyable read.

Pretty bad (admittedly it was an easy read though and I didn’t notice any typos which is better than a lot of self published books).

Insta love in the first few pages. The rest of the book is them dating. There’s no conflict. No romance. No reason to read. Shockingly dull.

More the expected

It was a sweet, quick, read but had extra unexpected depth. Certain actions and emotions felt more real to me than what many other authors in the same genre are able to express especially in stories that aren't angsty. Really well done!!
