Captivating and swoony
This is easily the most captivating PNR / vampire book I have read in a lonnnggg time! From the secrets to mythology based lore, the world Kuivalainen has created immerses you deeply. Each of the character stories built connecting and had me loving them despite their flaws.
I absolutely could not put this read down. It was such a romantic read with a nod to vampires from history that felt fresh.

Blood, Roses, & Gothic Hotness
Hot Unseelie fae that are vampires & secluded gothic manor... what's not to love. Rosa & Balthazar steam up the page. The spice level is low but the slow burn angsty lust is perfection.

Excellent read
Trying to find words to describe my feelings for this book and all I can come up with is wow. Love the setting, love the characters and basically everything about this book. The adventure of finding out who is who and who is what really made this an intriguing read.

All in all, an enjoyable, easy read.
Not a fan of the I-loved-you-since-the-moment-I-saw-you trope, but we're talking about Unseelie/vampire-human love, so I don't think realism is part of the equation...
