I never expected to end up in a crazy place filled with unicorns, dragons, and magic. It’s certainly not an easy place to live, and we have a lot to learn if we’re going to survive at all.
Between the beasts that roam the Waste at night, and the hostile soldiers of Castilan, the women and I have to be on guard at all times.
Thankfully, they’re just as determined to stay alive as I am, and an unexpected ally might be the thing that changes it all.
Isaac and the 5 girls from the College Dorm, transported by magic through a Dementional Gate to another realm, fight to stay alive while being attacked, repeatedly. Eventually, he decides to "look around" to their new world. In their searches they come across a cave and hidden within, an injured Dragon sleeping. Quietly and Very Carefully try to help it, hoping it doesn't wake and eat them... Magic does exist and Dragon's and the stongest... A suprise visitor has a request......🤫
This book seems to take the annoying habit the first book had of over-explaining to a whole new level. Every sentence of actual dialog, is followed by 3 paragraphs of random details explaining everything in excruciating detail. I get the feeling the author wrote 20 pages of actual story and then simply padded everything to a ridiculous degree.
Add to it the choices and decisions made by the character make no sense whatsoever. "Were staying the night to stay safe!"... "Were gonna rob this guy then flee at top speed at night!".

The problem with any story which relies on descriptions of sexual intercourse is the limited catalog of sexual practices. After a dozen or so pages of one coupling or five or six sexual encounters, it becomes boring. Also, Mister Vall's writing could be improved if he hired himself a qualified proof reader.
This second book adds to the knowledge of the wastelands. There are more battles, both physical and magical. Plus we find out more about the dragon found on the cave. We also find out more about the back story on a couple of the girls. Also more is found out about Lord Bricks and his lands. Loo!ing forward to the next book.
Nearing end of book two, and no melee or guns training has happened. No progress on food growing. Each topic is long drawn out. Author clarifys their clarifications, as if trying to increase word count lazily.
They buy some hay and this requires 3 pages of eye rolling boredom. XX scenes are good.
This is easily one of my favorite stories from this author, the adventure feels fresh and is just generally delightful! It is fast paced and intriguing story! I eagerly await the next one!
Fun and exciting sequel to the first novel and well worth reading. New places to explore, more lore and world history revealed and threats old and new will make themselves known!
And one heck of a plot twist at the end that has you waiting for the next book eagerly!
Lots of action continuing. The MC is discovering more magic. There is another attack on the “castle”. More interaction with the locals. The crew is becoming closer. The dragon awakens. All this and more! A series well worth reading.
Fun read from page 1 to the cliffhanger ending. I really got caught up in the story and finished it in 2 sittings. Worth your time and the money to buy it.
The book is picking up speed. There is a lot going on now. With the creature the found in the mountain. The evan had a battle with another city. Now, if you read the first book, you have to read this one.
Enjoyed the plot and flow of this series. Lots of action with twists in the plot that keep the story exciting. Great characters with a little spice thrown in kept me from putting this book down!
Eric strikes again. He continues to author great work. His MCs have strong morals. His works are far better than 5 Star ratings that the new york times calls great work.
