Surviving Origin Part 1 is a riddle wrapped inside an enigma. This is a whirlwind Sci-Fi thriller that keeps your interest high and makes a reader guessing all along its yarn. I kept reading because I kept being intrigued. Plenty of twists that hopefully will be untangled in part 2. A worthwhile time filler who keeps readers entertained. I for one, am glad Xander Weaver and his creation, Cyrus Copper are back.

I really like where this series is going. The book is science fiction, and that may turn some people off. But, the author does a great job of minimalizing the impact of it by doing a great job describing science without it being overly techie. This and first-rate dialogue made the book move and dance on the page.
