When Charlotte Parker meets Camden Smith during her first year at Oxford University at a Freshers’ after-party, their attraction is instantaneous. Omg this book was absolutely amazing! This is my first book by Olivia and it’s definitely not my last. This book started off with a bang, which immediately grabbed my attention and kept me engaged. Camden has been labeled the wild child always finding himself in scandal after scandal. After the ultimate betrayal by his ex best friend and ex-girlfriend, he decides to clean up his act and do something that’s better for himself. Charlotte and Camden meet at one of the parties at their college. Charlotte was immediately attracted to Camden and had him in her sights, from the first time these two interacted with each other the attraction was real. I absolutely loved the intimacy between these two, as well as how both parties were willing to work on the relationship. I loved how much Camden gave himself to Charlotte unknowingly, which made the story that much sweeter. I absolutely cannot wait to read Cameron‘s story. I definitely recommend this series to other readers out there!

Olivia Tasker you have smashed it again! This is my second book I’ve read from the author of the book series and it was so well written.
It was very nice to read about Camden and Charlotte’s love story after knowing about Bastien and Mina’s. I thought that this book was very well thought out as we get to see the other characters’ perspectives from the first book.
I really like both characters in the story, it just seemed like they were just meant to be. Seeing as Camden’s character was not into relationships because of past trauma makes total sense but it is seeing how he actually develops overtime because of Charlotte really shows that it all comes down to the right person to fall in love with. With Charlotte, it’s a good thing that the author has shown her past because this sort of thing actually happens to people in real life and it’s such a sad thing for them to go through. Humanity sucks. Charlotte deserves all the love she gets and I’m so glad that she managed to find it with Camden.
The spice in this book was unreal and I would definitely recommend this if you’re big fan of spicy romances!

Olivia Tasker's A Sizzling Connection, the story of Camden Smith and Charlotte Parker was a spicy friends-with-benefits romance with so many layers. It was the story of a rich guy who was always under scrutiny by the public and a once-upon-a-time plus-size girl who had so many insecurities to overcome.
Camden's character was very practical and had a very forward approach towards his life. After being cheated by his girlfriend and his best friend he decided relationships and love wasn't his thing. He changed himself and started adapting more productive ways to grow in life by securing himself in Oxford with his best friend Bastein. On the other side, Charlotte was cheated by her boyfriend as well but because of her looks and insecurities, she decided to transform her body and slowly move past all of those body insecurities. Now she was a hot mess who did not do relationships either. They met at a party and instantly hooked up. Both felt a very different connection with each other and soon before they knew it was friends with benefits. With time Charlotte realised she was falling for Camden and he could see himself changing too. He didn't want that after his past so he decided to distract himself away from Charlotte but it only got him closer to her. Will they let their feelings surface or will there be heartbreaks? There is a lot to unfold as you will read the book.
The plot and story are very beautiful but I could not connect with the characters since they were all the links and ties of the story were hanging. The timeline was moving faster than expected. Details of the events were left out. This made the entire experience very basic. We wanted more details of the events where Cam and Char bonded and how they cleared their minds to come together.
Overall, it was a beautiful story and I enjoyed that a lot. I would also like to thank Olivia for giving me this opportunity and I wish her the best in her future books and look forward to more such ARC books ahead as well.

This was my second book by Olivia Tasker and I was happy that this book kept my attention as much as the first.
Being the second book in a series it read like a stand-alone. However, If you read the first book you will notice it is like seeing the same story but from a flip point of view.
When we meet our two leads Charlotte Parker and Camden Smith both are dealing with two very different problems.
For Camden, he is trying to live a fun life without causing another scandal like he did once with a sex tape. He is also out to prove he is better than people give him credit for. To this, he has decided to only allow a few close friends into his inner circle and to only have one-night stands or hookups. Till he meets Charlotte.
Charlotte is determined not to let her past insecurities ruin the life she is building. Once a chubby teenager scarred by what people thought of her by looking at her she has become fit with curves in all the right places. She is determined not to let anyone hurt her again till she meets Camden.
What starts out as friends with benefits may be more if Charlotte lets her feelings known but is she and Camden both willing to risk it?
I love Charlotte as a plus-size woman I felt her inductees and her pain. I felt how what others say can hurt when they base your worth on a number. I really wanted to hug her many times and tell her she was stronger.
What I love about Olivia's writing is it is a great mix of storytelling and smut. She doesn't sacrifice one for the other so not only do you get to know the characters but you also get to enjoy their hot sex life. She brings a great balance. This story was a really good one and I loved seeing the story from a different point of view.
I am so happy Olivia asked me to read this book and that I got to revisit old friends and make new ones with a great heat factor.

The novel starts off with a lot of energies and excitement. Camden wakes up after a night of the unknown, waking to having no idea what happened. As he struggles to make sense of all this, he learns that things are not quite what they appear to be, especially with regards to Trina and his friend, Mark.
It also talks of Camden and Charlotte, two individuals struggling to determine what they expect from each other and their relationship.
An important and probably one of the most significant lessons I got out of this novel is the concept of being truthful in a relationship.
This realization is a clear message on the part of Camden and Charlotte that if they are to build a successful and functional relationship, there are certain key tenets that they have to follow, and one of these is honesty.
Their story proves that one is not necessarily to define the status of the relations at once, while it is more important to trust and to communicate.
The language used in the writing is authentic and honest. The manner in which she portrays the scenes and the manner in which Camden feels about things—I get to visualize all of it.

In brief, if such outlines and complications of love and life of the upper class interest you, this would probably do for you. For me, I had a great time with it.
