Nance

Rate this book
Nancy, a gentle, intelligent though a somewhat meek schoolgirl has a terrible experience. Nance emerges from the cuts and scars. She’s friendly, affable and generous. Just don’t mess with her unless you want to be spoon fed for the rest of your life.

Nance reimagines and recasts relationships with those around her. As soon as she can leave her small town she will. She wants adventure and starts a journey to places she would never have predicted.

This book contains material some may find disturbing or offensive. This includes graphic violence, strong language, some stereotyping and the use of the windy city as a backdrop in a way which is probably wildly inaccurate. (Sorry Chicagoans) I think this is one of may better books however, like The Survivor, it's not for everyone. Nance is a complete story but will ultimately be part of a trilogy if I live long enough to get the other two book written.
