“Even so, I just can’t bring myself to love this world.” Eris Miserian knows the fate that awaits her―after losing her promised husband, the crown prince, to Helena, a daughter of a disgraced Count, Eris poisons her rival as an act of revenge. But after her plan is foiled, she is sentenced to death while Helena and the prince get to live their happily ever after. Or that is what happens in the novel Eris was reading in her past life before she woke up in this world. Now, desperate to return to her own world, she’ll do everything that she can to escape what the story has laid out for her and find a way back to her real life!
Reincarnation where the mian character seeks to go back home and continues to do so throughout the story. The fact that the MC is in another person's body is both addressed and plot relevant which is refreshing considering that most stories of this kind content just ignore the glaring issue of "people have different sets of movement, speech pattern, and ticks" The ending is bittersweet and satisfying
I like the FL. She's pretty as hell. And i'm still not sure who's the ML. But sadly the storyline was confusing for me. Also drama between FL and Helena (oh God i HATE this kind character) was unnecessary.
this was super refreshing but still held some cliche parts that bugged me truly. i loved how she realized how she still loved her old family despite their issues and wanted to go back. also the male lead Anakin was amazing, he acted like a side character, which is typically the point of the male leads in these kinds of manhwas. Also the ending was adorable when they reunited. HOWEVER. THAT IDIOTIC PRINCE. HE TRULY MADE ME MAD. HOW DARE HE TRY TO BE ALL PROTECTIVE OF HER WHEN HE BASICALLY NEGLECTED HER. IMBECILE. maybe he should go back to his little maid gf he kept raving about instead of my main girl. also i hate the cliche of the other dudes realizing how different and nice the female lead is and they end up falling for her. ugh. ALSO HER HALF BROTHER FALLING IN LOVE W HER????? yeah…. def not my cup of tea.
This is a pretty heavy take on a common trope, as it doesn't shy away from the painful realities that this type of reincarnation would entail, specifically leaving behind your loved ones, and no longer being the person others know and love in the new world.
anyone who doesnt like this is a LOSER!!! ive reread it 4 times now and everytime i cant help but start balling my eyes out after reading 10 chapters. i love the ending it made me all happy 😊
Another isekai manhwa where a person from the real world ends up reincarnated into a fantasy story as the villainess. This FMC is the most concerned with returning compared to the other manhwas I’ve read with this concept. That’s the only bit that makes this somewhat novel.
The characters are kinda bland. The female lead of the original story seems kinda ditzy. Her only traits seem to be being beautiful and smiley. I am judging her considering how terrible the prince is in this story. If she genuinely likes him, I don’t think she’s all that great.
I somehow woke up in a different world as the villainess Eris Migerian from a novel I once read. She was hated and looked down on by almost everyone leading to her terrible personality and reputation.
Eris' character was in love with and engaged to the Crown Prince who wanted nothing to do with her. Instead he had feelings for a ruined Noble working in the Palace named Helena. Eris was wildly jealous of Helena, the kind and lovely protagonist and often threatened her out of anger. Due to this, Eris, the only daughter of a marquise was executed for conspiring.
However instead of staying in this world as Eris and trying to change the story line or Eris' reputation- the only thing I was is to return to my life and family.
I must escape this world and return home...no matter the cost. I was determined to even die for that. However, the laws of this world are stopping me from dying. It seems like this world want me to continue the story- to try and kill Helena.
So what the hell am I suppose to do? The three male protagonists in the novel who once hated Eris-the Crown Prince, High Priests, and Hero are starting to look at me differently-but what do I care? If death is the only way out of here then I, Eris, a villainess who rejects fate, will stop at nothing to escape from this world!
This is actually different plot from what we see usually a character who's villainess in novel btw actually turns out to be a saint(heroin) in plot. What i liked most is she didn't forget her role and acted like innocent just to survive in a fake World, also didn't play with other ml's emotions for her own benefit, her hatred for rest of the mls remained until the end.And i really got fed up seeing princess×prince ship.Romance doesn't have to be between same class always,The protagonist could become royalty if she wanted btw she never judged a person by his penny btw what he actually is.This is the first time i felt like um Reading realistic object in fiction. This legit deserves more popularity.

I’m interested. My only issue is that the main character seems dull. Not boring but just lifeless but I also think that’s the main point. She doesn’t want to be here. Like, at all and so it reflects in her character. My issue is that this volume could have possibly given us more of a background on why she wants to return to her home so badly. It does but it also feels very flat to me.

This mc seems really interesting and real! I feel so bad for her tho def will cry as the story develops I can already feel it lol the slap scene was a close call.
A qualunque costo.
E a tornare a casa.
Eris wakes up to a nightmare—she's trapped inside a romantasy novel as the infamous villainess, doomed to meet a tragic end. Unlike other reincarnated heroines who strive to change their fate or win over the male leads, Eris has just one goal: to die and escape this world. But no matter what she tries, fate refuses to let her go so easily.
This is not your typical villainess redemption story. Instead of playing along with the novel’s script, Eris defies it in the most extreme way possible—challenging the narrative itself. Her struggle is raw, filled with frustration and existential dread. The suffocating setting, the manipulative nobles, and the twisted romance tropes all add to the eerie, almost hopeless atmosphere.
The art is stunning, with intricate details that highlight the intensity of Eris’s emotions. Every expression, every moment of defiance, is captured beautifully, making her journey all the more immersive.
If you're looking for an isekai villainess story that dares to be different—one that leans into psychological depth, existential themes, and an anti-romance approach—Kill the Villainess is a must-read.
This was a masterpiece. Best story I've DEVOURED in years. I don't even remember the last time I've read such a well-crafted story as this. Every single piece falls into place perfectly, and what you're left with when you're done reading is your tattered mind trying to cope from the emotional rollercoaster. This was worth every single second. This level of storytelling is insane for this genre, and I'd love to see more of it in isekai.
it may not be the best thing i've ever read but honestly it's good. the story may seem trivial at the beginning and as a typical "forbidden love" but it gets more and more interesting chapter by chapter. hope it stays this way and maybe even has some plot twist at the end. tho, most importantly it is a nice story to simply escape reality and disctract your mind ;P
what can i say, i have a soft spot for isekai stories and strong female characters xx
So happy more and more are getting english releases. Gimme Lion's little daughter and Swordmaster's son and I will be ecstatic. This is a tough one. The art is nice. Eris is a tough character and its heavy on the suicide front. fourteen chapters, ending with the second run in with the priest. The guy makes me cringe. Can't stand the prince. He's the worst character going.

Guaranteed to break your heart as the story is so well written that you are dragged along to feel everything the protagonist is feeling. It's refreshing to have an isekai where the main character is entirely focused on just getting home. Because it's such an escapeism genre you rarely have people intent on going home anymore. This particular story though seems even more brutal than usual, and trapping the lead character in a role she's trying to escape.
Anakhin is the standard. This is the first time I’ve read an isekai manhwa where the male leads follows the mc back to her real world. I love them so much. Only thing is, Anakhin’s expressions seemed blank like 98% of the time. I also loved that it wasn’t a prince or duke she fell in love with but a poor, commoner knight.

didn't really care for the art style and i found the story pretty lackluster. I'm also not a huge fan of how so many people knew about eris' secret/goal and none of the potential love interests seemed all that great
It seems a bit odd to be that she was willing to attempt suicide to get out of the world, but then doesn't want to die to get back? Maybe she realises that she can't die? I'm kind of intrigued, so I'll read the next one.
