Amo que la historia tenga, buena trama, buenos plot twist, personajes bien formados, con unas historias personales increíbles que todo encaje tan bien.

Creo que dije que iba a dejar de leer hace 5 capítulos y no puedo 🤣

this is a reread for me because i read this series as it was coming out on webtoon to its completion. if there’s one thing i never forgot, it was the chapters covered in this volume and i was getting angry all over again (as well as rolling my eyes a lot). i was able to prepare myself and distance myself emotionally when reading it so it didn’t hurt as much, but damn is it still heartbreaking. i’ll also never get over how how hayan’s dad is in both forms (but especially in the white hair). we also get some more development between hayan and the detective which i love. not to mention one of my favourite side characters (and designs) is finally going to get some more page time which is exciting!! at this rate i think they’ll be able to complete the series in 10 volumes and i’m so excited, hell i hope they throw in some bonus content at the end but i doubt they will unfortunately.

Mais vraiment quel tome !! On a enfin des réponses et ça relance tout de suite l’action, c’est super intelligent !
J’ai hâte de voir comment nos deux héros vont se débrouiller avec cette nouvelle situation dans laquelle ils se retrouvent, parce que c’est pas gagné du tout 👀

Ce tome nous montre les souvenirs oubliés de Hayan. Et ces pages n'ont pas été faciles à lire. Mais j'ai beaucoup aimé les rebondissements et surtout, apprendre la psychologie et l'identité de l'antagoniste en même temps.

4.5 stars. I had such an adrenaline rush reading this. This was the first time I thought Hayan was in real danger and wouldn't defeat the villain of this arc. I did feel dropped into this volume - Hayan is referencing so many memories that we have no context for. This whole setup of this volume is predicated on Hayan and, especially Euntae, being very oblivious. However, I felt the creepiness of the town and I was so invested in the action and the reveals and what would happen next that I didn't care. The plot twists in this one worked really well to explain why Hayan has only been facing one angel of death at a time. And we finally get Hayan's backstory. Normally, I don't like flashbacks but I was invested in what happened to Hayan, her parents, the village they live in, and Yohan. The author built tension - and stressed me out - even in the flashbacks. That's great writing and great plotting.

3.5 This feels like it’s laying the groundwork for the next phase of the story as we shift away from the halfblood Angels of Death into her deal with God who turns out to be her ex-friend / adopted brother. More manhwa edginess ensures but it hits a lot better here. I do think the villain is a bit too maniacal. Like… ok bro. We get it. Did you really have to create an entire fucking city to achieve a mindfuck? And the backstory is just super edgy.

No no no, el odio que tengo para con cierto personaje. Sí, tuviste un pasado horrible, pero no podés hacer lo que estás haciendo!! Aunque sí me estás dando un gran plot para esta historia.
La cantidad de información plasmada en este volumen es tremenda.
No puedo frenar, quiero seguir leyendo y saber qué pasa después.
