I am very honored to have the opportunity to review such a credentialed author. As an educator I love the "one-hour" format. I also found the "reflections" and "timeline" useful as this period of history is particularly difficult to understand. While the exceptional content does not demand a lot of prior knowledge some may be useful as you are dropping into a period of history without a lot of preview. I enjoyed very much. A good read.
This book is written very nicely. Robert Freeman seems like a very intelligent man. I learned things that my history teachers didn't teach me. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the events after World War I that led up to World War II. Very good book!
I'm very picky with what history eras I enjoy-this era is not one of them. But I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and enjoyable this book was to read. I learned quite a bit from such a small book.
*Won in goodreads giveaway** I've always been fascinated with the interwar period. This reader highlights the main events of that period in a straightforward way. I enjoyed it.
