Rate this book
Memories from Shizuku’s troubled past have gotten between her and Saori. They share too much. Their hopeless loves, the ways they push each other away when they need companionship the most, their anxieties about replacing and being replaced… But maybe, if Saori swallows her pride and chases after Shizuku, they can make up by sharing two more things—a kiss and a confession!

Uh… this… keeps going. I don’t really know what to say about it. Things keep on entangling and the stories keep moving. It’s a fine, basic read.

There is something oddly passionless about it though. Nothing about this feels compelling and the chemistry is never more exciting than a little sentiment.

Even when characters are literally kissing, there’s something here, or nothing, more precisely, that doesn’t feel like it has any kick to it. Meanwhile, you have other yuri where they take seven volumes just to hold hands and they manage to crackle like a Van de Graaff generator.

It has lots of potentially interesting characters and the way that four of them are slowly coalescing into a very wonky sort of found family is pretty enjoyable. But this is a manga I am still reading and it conjures practically nothing up by way of excitement.

It’s passable and I don’t dislike spending time with these people. But I don’t feel anything that makes me want to shove a copy into the hands of the nearest person or try to whip up interest via a passionate review.

3 stars - kinda funny, kinda decent, and just kinda there. I’m fine to keep reading it, but if it vanished from my reading list I doubt I’d even notice.

This slice of life about active messy relationships seriously just hits the spot for me. The characters are messy, their interactions are messy, and I look forward to lazily comfort reading every next volume!

I think if you enjoyed the first few volumes of the series, I’d consider it to going as strong as ever 7 volumes in.

It’s not a groundbreaking tale of drawn out drama and plot twists. It’s a comfortable pallet cleanser or short chapters that’s perfect when the mood is right.

Glad this series "ended." Seems like the relationships are going no where, just slice of life. Got annoyed with one of the characters.
