I'm The Villainess, So I'll Just Beat Up My Problems!
After dying in a traffic accident, I wound up in an otome game world. What’s more, I swapped places with a girl named Alexandra. The so-called heroine had already bewitched Alexandra’s fiancé–the second prince–and set her up as the villainess. To make matters worse, I arrived right in the middle of Alexandra’s bogus condemnation. So, what’s a girl to do in a situation like this? Kick her fiancé’s butt and seize the happy ending, of course! But as soon as I did just that, the world collapsed, and I looped back in time to Alexandra’s childhood. Years later, I met the older, incredibly gorgeous first prince. Oh, and he seemed totally into me! Could this be true love?!
This was cute until the MC H decided to go all stalker and controlling on the MC h. Yeah, no thanks. That’s NOT a healthy relationship.
He placed a tracking spell on her amulet so he knew where she was at all times and when she was with a friend at the mage’s guild and was discussing different inventions she would like to see created, he bursts in and rips her away from them, while exuding a murderous aura to the men around her.
She was in a public space and clearly had no intention to do anything nefarious. He needs to back the eff down.
Yes, she is in love with him and finds his behavior “cute”.‘ It isn’t cute, it’s terrifying and IRL, that wouldn’t end well.
Changed my rating while thinking about it. I can’t give anything with a horrible message like this more than one star, no matter how cute the rest of this is.
Also, the entire story arc ends in this one volume. Not sure how it can continue unless his possessiveness is the next story arc. I’m not sticking around to find out.
1, wish it hadn’t gone so sideways with the MC H’s unhealthy fixation on the MC h, stars.

If you’re seeking a Villainess Otome Story where the protagonist must evade her impending doom, you won’t find it until perhaps the last 15% of the book.
For most of the story, it presents itself as a straightforward puppy love romance. Past life/previous loop memories or knowledge from another world play a minimal role.
Furthermore, the primary love interest is overly obsessive, bordering on stalking behavior, which makes him rather unappealing and not particularly charming.
I am always up for someone to play with an established formula, and this book does a very fun job of it. It still sticks with a few of the basics - isekai, assumed villainess and heroine switch roles, time loops - but the way they're combined make this book much more entertaining than it ought to be.
Another reincarnation based story with a villainess protagonist who everyone starts to love because the true villain is actually the heroine.
Personally this plot has already been used multiple times, but I’m a sucker for it, especially when it’s done well. I had my doubts in the beginning because the main character felt no sadness or remorse for dying early. It felt almost scary how quickly they accepted it and then felt bad for Alexandra’s circumstances. We don’t know much about the main characters previous life and world but it was satisfying to see them beat up the cheating fiancé and his entourage.
However, that’s where this story kind of ends and surprisingly satisfies the title. The main character, now Alexandra regresses back as a child and relives past Alexandra’s life. Unsurprisingly, events change and past enemies become friends as well as Alexandra becomes blessed with intelligence, strength and beauty. This made the story predictable and uninteresting.
That said, the story has an intriguing aspect – the male lead. The male lead is not too old, but enough that both characters wouldn’t be in school together. He’s questionable, because although he waited until Alexandra is of age, he’s possessive and a borderline stalker. Alexandra is aware of this and still has feelings for him, so I don’t really have any issue with it. The male lead is also smart and perspective, as well as I enjoyed how he tries to give Alexandra space even if he doesn’t always follow through with it. He does follow her but he’s not glued to her and I love how he lets her fight her own battles.
The writing in this book is quite simple and easy to understand. I liked how it was clear and concise without any annoying details or facts. It wasn’t repetitive and exuded the character’s personality. The story is primarily told in Alexandra’s perspective, however it does change to some of the other character’s perspective though it is related to Alexandra. There aren’t any other subplots or mysteries.
Overall, this was a good read with a lot of common themes and predictable plot lines. I feel like this story could have ended at this volume but I’ll be continuing it nonetheless. There isn’t much artwork in this volume, but the few images present are quite simple without many details or background. I would recommend giving it a try if you’re looking for a light-hearted common story.
I've read a bunch of isekai stories over the last few years and over time they tend to be very formulaic. In happy to say that this story had a lot of great ideas that kept me reading and characters I quickly invested into. This volume is a full story with room for more of the workout decided to bit also a solid spot to stop as well.
I really enjoyed this book and could barely put out down. The character development is great and many if the plot choices were solid. Additionally, you can have faith in "good guys win" and such.
Spoiler ahead warning.
So the story opens with the protagonist saving a mom and kid from a speeding car and dying. She suddenly ends up in heaven talking to a goddess who really needs her help saving the soul of a young girl who has been stuck in a loop removing her life, which leads to a traffic death. After learning about the situation she feels such sympathy that "book title" happens.
This idea that the goddess brought her specifically to save the deteriorating despairing soul is both fresh and really nice. It puts a lot of positive spin on what otherwise feels a bit dark.
Ally is a bit of a different isekai character where she not only remembers her previous life, but has no idea that her new world is part of a game even though she is aware she at least is reincarnated. She willingly takes on another person's life to save them before they can no longer be reincarnated after learning of their story and looping consistently leading to heartbreak. If anything, Ally is strong both physically and emotionally long before she also becomes magically strong as well. It's fascinating how everything plays out and the similarities and differences that unravel along the way. All in all though, it seems things turn out for the best, with those who are true friends sticking together and thinking nothing of the reincarnation ranting that takes place later other than seeming to feel bad for their own past deeds regardless of not remembering as Ally does. Not so surprising though, the "villainess" may not be who everyone thinks it is, just as with many others of these reincarnation series.

I HAD SO MUCH FUN READING THIS BOOK! I wonder why I didn't pick this one up sooner?
First 5★ book of this year! 🥳✨
The genre is the cliche isekai BUT it's a refreshing isekai! I don't think highly of this one at first, but when I started it, I regret my mistake because I enjoy it so much since the beginning of the story!
I don't want to give out any spoilers, but all the characters (except the 'heroine') are lovable, especially Alexandra. I love that despite her OP abilities, the author doesn't make her the know-it-all and just makes her like the average girl enjoying her times in the life.
The humour is *chef's kiss* perfect. It comes out naturally and the banters between characters are very enjoyable.
Also I BAWL MY EYES OUT NEAR THE END OF THE BOOK, HOW DARE YOU. The writing is so good it affects my emotions. The rage Alexandra felt rubs on me and I want to hit Celette as well. 😭✋
I finish this book in two days, that's a record for me! ✨ Looking forward to read the second book and hopefully, it's another 5★ ✨
This was a very fun read. It was a good use of isekai (which I feel doesn’t necessarily happen as often as it should). The MC had martial arts training in her original world. When she awoke in her new world, she was immediately able to use those skills to take control of a bad situation. And those same skills helped her throughout her new life to be a tough and well-respected young woman. There were a lot of entertaining characters, the story was enjoyable, and overall I had a good time reading this book. I am not sure if it is a done-in-one story or if there will be future volumes. It works well enough as a single volume tale, but there is certainly room for the author to do more with these characters as well.
Everyone is really understanding of time loops; also, a surprising amount of characters remembered the previous loops without and explanations as to why….. maybe because the author couldn’t figure out a good way to explain it?
Regardless, this story was fun and I enjoyed my time reading about her being extremely OP!
Sometimes you just want a stupid trope, or a stupid trope or... like five... turned on it's head. Light reading, fun, didn't take itself seriously. Excellent "I'm bored and don't want to think" read.
I was thinking of maybe giving this a 3, but then I remembered that I almost quit at prologue. And yeah, no. That was bad, SO bad. 2 stars is more than enough for this okay-ish book.
I don't know why it's listed as first volume. The story is finished. It does not need to be dragged out any further.
It was... okay? Right until the last bit. The main love interest took a DEEP dive straight into Red Flags territory. He was jealous and obsessive before this, but here he REALLY committed to it by discarding the mask. Yikes.
