For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review...

I was given this book for an honest review and my honest thoughts, so here goes...

Ms. Stephanie is not a new to me author and neither is this series. I have to be bluntly honest with you though ~ this series freaking rocks apples! Ms. Stephanie did it again with yet another freaking fantastic story. She dragged me in and did not let go of me till the last page. And really, even then she made me drool with anticipation for the next story. I promise you, she will make you hunger for this Lucani family.

What I enjoy most about this series is that Ms. Stephanie brings everyone back together. She makes sure the whole family is included in everyone's story.; but doesn't overwolf (ha ha ~ instead of overbear) you with them either. But I love how she devotes enough attention to her main characters as possible. After all, family is everything... Just as Grace.

Grace is a dedicated mother and a fighter till the end. She has done all she could possibly think to do to save her son Alex from an illness no one can diagnose. She even kidnapped a Lucani and her mate for their blood. Then to know that her daughter has been kept from her from birth by her evil and twisted ex... She did try to right her wrongs but no one faulted her for trying to save her son or saving her daughter...

Not even Kaisie, who lives and breaths to protect his family. So much so, he had his pack raise his daughter while he tracked those that wanted to harm his pack. Just call it a days worth of work for him. He is the best tracker his pack has and he works hand in hand with the King. Kaisie is not a man to mess with... Until Grace lights a fire under his ass and really gets him going.

The chemistry between these two is just amazing. Grace is a woman to admire for her backbone and determination. Also, not to mention her attitude when it comes to protecting her family. But put these two together and watch the fireworks explode.

But chemistry alone did not carry this story... Nope. The struggle Grace had to endure to get her children back will really pull at your heart strings. Just think of an evil ex having your children... Knowing that he is putting evil thoughts in their mind... What would you do to get your children back? Well, read Grace's story to find out what happens. Because believe me, you will be cheering her along her fight to get them back.

My Julian did an awesome job at telling Grace's story with style because when you read about Grace's story - you will not believe the things she has done but what you won't forget is the way she was forgiven for. Ms. Stephanie has taken us away on yet another journey that is truly remarkable... Maybe one of the most memorable yet.

This series totally rocks. You do not haveeeee to pick up the first book to "get" this series (but for those OCD people like me ~ you will want too). That is what is great about this series, you can pick up any book. I promise you won't regret it. Allow yourself to be taken away into the world of the hottest pack you will want to know. Can't wait for the next one Ms. Stephanie!! Hint hint.....

Grace in Moonlight is book number five in the Lucani series. While this does work as a standalone, I highly recommend that you read the others in the series first-esp books 3 and 4 The heroine of book five, Grace Bellasario was the villain of bk 4 when she captured the heroine of that book...however we found out it was to do tests to help find a cure for her son Alex who has a rare disease. In the last book her son, and a few others were captured by the evil mal-shapes hifters who use their powers for evil instead of good like the lucani do. All of them escaped except for Grace's son. She'll do anything to get him back.

Kaisie Giliati is a tracker for the king and just wants to complete his mission-to get her kid and bring him back to their world. He doesn't want Grace along because he thinks she doesn't have enough experience on tracking missions to be helpful. Grace however, won't take no for an answer and see the fireworks between her and Kaisie were great. Neither backs down, and even when they start to have feelings for each other, they fight them in a big way. Normally I hate it when couples fight for almost the whole book, but in this case it worked. It just wouldn't have made sense for either of them to fall so fast for each other as they regarded each other as the enemy.

While I loved Kaisie, I had a really hard time warming up to Grace-but the fact that I ended up liking her at all after how evil she was in the last book is amazing. One of the things I like best about this series is that even though they are all novellas, I feel like you get a really good grasp of each persons personality and what makes them work the way they do and while there are some unanswered questions, it doesn't seem to bother me as much as it does with some novellas. The heat meter in this book is pretty high~which is another thing I love about these books. There's a story to go along with the hotness!

This series just gets better and better with each installment. . I must say I have my favorites that still haven't had their story told, and I can't wait for that. *Cough* Cat*cough* the King,*cough.* Come back tomorrow when I have a guest post & giveaway with Stephanie Julian!

Grace Bellasario did what any mother would do when faced with a sick and dying child. She kidnapped some super–healing shifters and tested their blood for anti-bodies. Okay, maybe that's a little extreme for most parents but the desperation to help her son was very real. When the boy’s father kidnaps the child Grace knows she needs a tracker, an amazing tracker, to find both him and his sister. What she doesn’t need is to fall in love with a bossy shifter!

Step into the world of author Stephanie Julian’s Lucani Lovers series. The love of the Lucani and their mates is passionate and palpable. Ms. Julian’s writing is exciting and vivid. If you enjoy getting to revisit with characters from prior stories you’ll be happy to see many returning faces book five. Ms. Julian includes a glossary at the beginning of each book that is helpful in knowing who is magical or human, good or evil, deity or royalty.

If you love an alpha male that tries so hard to be unlovable that he has the opposite affect on both the heroine and the reader, you will fall in love with Kaisie Gilati. He’s the tracker for the lucani king and he’s the best! When he and Grace butt heads there was so much sexual undercurrent sparks could have flown off the pages. When they fight it’s electrifying and when they make love it’s magical.

All the stories in the Lucani Lovers series have been thrilling adventures. Ms. Julian has a terrific writing voice that will keep you engaged from page one to the end. The stories have an underlying plot that continues from one book to the next. We’re getting closer to finding out the source of the evil that has been threatening the lucani and their mates. It’s building to a very exciting conclusion and one that shouldn’t be missed.

I must say that I am rather sad…..sad that I haven’t read the first 4 books in this series. This is a series that I know I would love from start to finish. Not just because it’s wolf shifters (gotta love my wolves!), but because the author is superbly talented and she knows what to write to hook her readers. From the shifting, to the mysteriousness of the plot line, Julian grips her fans and doesn’t let them go until they reach the last page.

Kaisie’s character was one that I would have loved to have known in real life. He’s genuine, and he’s got the hots for the stubborn woman called Grace. He can’t deny he’s attracted to her, but she’s too hard headed to listen to reason. Of course, that could be because someone the lucani’s hate, has her children and won’t give them up. Now, it’s up to Kaisie to save them, and to prove his feelings for Grace.

Grace’s character was well thought out, but I was a little put off with the fact that she didn’t listen to much reason when it came to what Kaisie was telling her. But, that didn’t throw me off the story! I loved watching her come to terms with her true feelings for the handsome wolf shifter, especially after the way they were at each other’s throats in the beginning!

I don’t want to giveaway any spoilers so I’ll stop there. I’ll say this, however. This is a must read! It’s filled with sexy wolves, and hot romantic passion mixed with the perfect amount of mysteriousness to keep the reader fully engaged. I am definitely looking forward to going back and reading more in this series and by this incredibly talented author! Well done, Ms. Julian!

Kaisie is a must read. I absolutely fell in love with Kaisie. I loved his character from the very beginning. I was completely and utterly wowed by him at a little past the half way mark. He was having a we’re not teenagers conversation with Grace and he just told her what he expected and how it was going to happen. It was just the confidence he had in her, in him and what they could be together that impressed me. He wasn’t egotistical and cocky about it. He just laid it all out there for Grace to clearly see. So, Kaisie is a must read male!

I liked Grace too. She has done some very unethical things to see to her son has a long healthy life. She regrets that people were harmed and terrorized in the process, but she has zero regrets on the fact that she wants her son to be happy and healthy. This woman has backbone when it comes to her children. When the opportunity arrises that allows for her to help in the rescue mission that will put her children back in her life she does not stand down when Kaisie tells her to stay at the lucani den.

I am also at the end of my magical Etruscan book journey until Stephanie gets more out there for me to acquire. I am the slightest bit bummed. The readers are shown who the next couple will be in the Lucani Lovers series. They don’t have any roles in the past books so there is no point in me sharing that little tid bit.

Wow, Ms. Julian did it again! Another wonderful book in her series! This book was about Grace, who after all the terrible things she did, I thought I would not like. I was wrong! I loved how she cared for her children. I loved how vulnerable and unsure she was in her relationship with Kasisie. Watching their relationship unfold and blossom was amazing, and of course the sex was HOT! I also really liked that Kaisie is now getting a second chance at fatherhood! I think he will be great at it this time.

All in all another great read from one of my favorite authors! I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!!

Another sweet addition to the Lucani series. The author does a nice job tying them together so they flow. Its always great to read about the surrounding characters in previous stories as well as watch another couple fall for each other and mate for life!! So many variations and possibilities with the different shifters, witches, gods, etc. Looking forward to each new story to be told!! Wish it was longer... but then we would have to wait longer for each one, right? Good job, Stephanie. Whats not to like about this...

This is book5 in the Lucani Lovers series. What can I say, well that was a wild ride. This is the story of Kaisie, the Lucani tracker. And Grace, the woman that kidnapped people to use their blood for a healing serum for her son. Oh and did I mention two Lucani were murdered in that time because of her? So needless to say this was a wild ride. It's only gotten better as I've read this series.

Grace in Moonlight

Every battle brings them one step closer to the leader of the Mal. I'm glad Kaisie took care of Grace's ex, or they would have never been truly free. The visit from the Lady of the Hammer sounded like an ominous one. I can't wait to see what happened to Mara's baby.
