This is the third book in the Breath of Life series.
Duke Avery was a broken man and there was no saving him. Paxton’s secret obliterated what was left of his heart and he could no longer picture his future. There were only a few moments in his life that now defined him: the loss of his wife, the loss of his child, and now, the loss of Paxton and their future together.
Jennah Carsten ran away from the one man who truly loved her. She needed a fresh start and she decided that Manhattan, Kansas would be the place she could do that. Jennah would have the support of her sister to help her out until she could get back on her feet. Her plan was sound, or so she thought. What she didn’t plan on was the moment Duke walked into her life and changed everything.
Duke and Jennah couldn’t explain their instant attraction to one another. The electricity they felt between them was both foreign and familiar. Trying to protect their hearts from one another, they both start to create distance between the two of them. O MY GOD!
This was another amazing book in this series! Yes again it made me cry! Again, no I couldn't put it down! it is definitely going to kill me to wait for the next one!
There is so much to say about this book (the whole series so far really) but it would give too many spoilers and I hate doing that. It's left it nicely open for the next book, which yes it was a good cliffhanger but I'm not sure my nails will wait for the next one!
This is one very talented author and this series is definitely worth a read!

What can I say. I could not put this book down. I had to know what was happening next. I fell in love with this whole series. And I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next. All characters you fall in a love & hate relationship with. And you are constantly shocked to Why? Or What. Very good book I highly recommend.

I am probably biased when I talk about this book because I did write it, but I love this book! I think out of the series, this one is my favorite...for now.
It was meant to be the final installment but due to some twists and turns that came up, I decided to make a fourth book to finish out the story lines. I, for one, just can't get enough of Duke. So for my Duke fans, hope you enjoy!
