Nope, not something I think about. Not at all.

I. Am. Over. Them. And to prove just how over them I am, I’m going to find Pack Stanton their perfect omega.

Lessons on how to woo an check!

Hints on how to build a perfect check!

Tips on how to please an omega in check!

Not falling into bed with them … erm

And definitely not falling back in love with …

I'm not usually very into taboo books, but surprisingly, this was my favorite book in this why choose omegaverse series. I liked most of the characters generally speaking. The ending cliffhanger was really rough. I always know that I liked a book when I'm still thinking about it the next day, and I woke up the morning after finishing this book and immediately started thinking about the ending. I already re-read the last couple of chapters. The pining and sadness of the ending scenes was emotional, and I liked it. I felt like I could hear these hearts breaking.

I think Wyatt needs to be fleshed out a bit more - I couldn't really tell if he is quiet/tortured tough guy, geeky and dorky, or possibly on the spectrum (and all good if he is - he just felt all over the place). It just was hard to tell who he is because his behavior kept flipping. I liked Owen and Daxton a lot. I also liked the FMC, although I wish she made the guys more jealous when they were going on all those dates.

I did really like Pack Gamble, but I felt it was almost too heavy on the smut. This book did a better job at balancing the smut with storyline, and I think the taboo is to thank for that. I didn't always love the change from smut flashback to present day. It was kinda randomly placed throughout the book, and at a certain point, I didn't care about the sex scenes from when they first met. I just wanted to read present day because there was more tension (the smut is always more rewarding after there is more tension).

I'm excited for the in the next book. I think it will make the story come together well. I hope the characters don't get back together too quickly. I want more tension and longing (apologies to the characters lol). Overall, very fast read! I liked it.

I think I may have to get rid of my Kindle subscription because every book I'm recommended has just let me down lately. Spoilers ahead.

I want to start by saying this should be a stand alone, and having them do an end of book break up to add another book wasn't really needed. The story line isn't intense enough to make it worth it.

So let's jump into it! This book annoyed me quite a bit. They are adult step siblings at the beginning of the book, they never act as a family and they never spend time together as siblings or speak to each other. Yet the step sibling taboo is enough to cause all these problems? And make her break up with them and leave. Highly doubtful. Also just move? If they are as good at their jobs as they say then just move hospitals and sell the house. Only people to worry about then are parents. So? These incredibly smart and capable adults don't think of that at all?

Then can we please talk about how there is no connection between these guys aside from sex? That may be my biggest issue. The conversations they have always have a sexual undertone and innuendo, and the only other scenes they have are sex scenes. Even the points where it could be cute they don't. We have a mixer with a jealous factor and the only real conversation they have is Owen mentioning sex.

This lack of connection and made up problems is why I won't be reading the next book. I honestly don't have problems usually with this genre, but the way this one was laid out is just not for me.

You lost me with the toe sucking.

I usually really love the books that this author writes. I’ve devoured every single one of her RH Omegaverse. But this one was a miss for me. It’s really well written but I wasn’t a fan of the FMC, she was just very flighty and there wasn’t much substance to her. The miscommunication was very frustrating and used to the point that it’s maddening. I can get over those things usually if it’s a good story and I’m promised an HEA. But when he sucked her toe into his mouth I gagged. And when she in turn sucked HIS big toe, I dry heaved. This one was a miss for me.

Pack Education Part One, book 1 of the series The Rockview Omegaverse - City by Hannah Haze, @hannahhazewrites. I am a huge fan of Hannah’s & this book was amazing!

I am loving the start of Harper, Daxton, Owen & Wyatt! So good! Tropes: Omegaverse, RH, no MM, rule-breaking Omega, Alpha Doctors, stepbrother, step brothers friends & an unexpected heat.

A highly unputdownable Omegaverse book! I sat down and read the thing from start to finish without any breaks and downloaded the next one immediately. Fortunately, it's a finished duet so you don't have to wait until the next book is out to find out how the duet ends! There's a lot of personal drama that keeps you hooked into the story and loads of spice to keep you there (we even get an Omega heat that lasts several chapters!). I will warn that there is a lot of miscommunication in the form of withholding true feelings with characters thinking they know what's best for the others, and that is admittedly very frustrating. If they acted like legit adults and spoke about how they were genuinely feeling, they wouldn't have wasted all those years apart and miserable without their pack. The book ends on kind of a cliffhanger with things up in the air for the guys and Harper, but the summary guarantees a HEA for the polycule in the second book.

Harper ending up with Daxton, Wyatt, and Owen just makes sense. I was initially really irritated that the beginning of the book cut out all the really juicy spice right before it was about to happen and jumped 10 years into the future. But how the author does kind of like flash backs to that time frame and gives up glimpses of what happens was decent enough, so I got over being irritated. I get that there would be some hesitation that the group couldn't end up together because Daxton and Harper's parents are married, but COME ON! Daxton and Harper were both practically adults themselves by the time they were step siblings that it really doesn't matter. It's not like they grew up together from the time they were little kids and it gives off incestual vibes. So yes, I understand the initial trepidation, but for them to be so hung up on that aspect and basing that as the sole reason they can't be with one another when so much of alpha/omega pairings are based on smell and biology? Come on! And for Daxton to withhold Harper from his pack mates, who are NOT Harper's step siblings because of an issue that he has with the whole thing is kind of a dick move. I'm not so sure that I would have stuck around and be miserable if I were either Owen or Wyatt.

To sum up, I loved this book and if you're into the Omegaverse universe, this is definitely one that I would read!

Mind the cliff.

Holy crap I put it off as long as I could and I’m still dying over the cliffy. Hannah why do you do this to me?! So delicious. I’ll be interesting to see if there’s another time jump in the next book.

I love Hannah Haze’s writing! Omegaverse are also my comfort reads. The first part of their duet was no exception.

We meet Harper and Pack Stanton in this book. It’s hard when attraction and biology are pushing you toward your new step brother and his pack. So Harper decides to give them advice to find their omega. Will this work or will Pack Stanton give in to temptation? Will Pack Stanton choose Harper for their omega despite the taboo?

I can’t wait to catch back with Harper and Pack Stanton in part two to find out which path they choose.

Tooth achingly Sweet.

**SPOILERS**

Harper is a studious omega with dreams of studying art history. She’s focused and driven and won’t let anything get in her way…only problem…well, she has three of them, namely her hot alpha step-brother and his two best friends. When Harper is 18 she indulges in a “fling” with Daxton (her step-brother), and Wyatt and Owen (his two best friends). After a week of indulging in sexual escapades the group call it quits. Harper is afraid of what her mother and step-father will think, and her step-brother and his friends make it clear to her that the entire fling was just that, a fling. Fast forward 10 years later and Harper has returned home from Paris, where she was working as a curator at the Louvre. She’s missed home, and is happy to be back and away from Laurent her ex-boyfriend. She doesn’t expect to run smack dab into Daxton, Owen and Wyatt who have since formed a Pack and have been trying to find their perfect Omega. Harper is happy but uncomfortable with seeing them, happy because she did miss them, uncomfortable because 10 years hasn’t lessened her desire for the three hot forbidden alphas. Harper’s mom suggests to Pack Stanton, her step-brothers pack that Harper help them find their perfect Omega, since, hey, Harper IS an omega herself. And although the suggestion is disquieting for her, she agrees. She thinks it’ll be simple enough. She has pushed aside her desire for this pack, and she can behave like any other omega step-sister…oh how wrong she is. Pack Stanton has been actively dating and looking for their perfect omega, but no one has felt “right.” What they never admitted to themselves was the reason they couldn’t find their perfect omega was because they’d already found her…and let her go. Harper was the girl they could never forget. And although they all had agreed that their summer escapades 10 years ago was just that, a summer week of non-committed sex, they had been pining for Harper. They go along with Harper’s ideas to find the perfect omega until Harper goes into an unexpected heat and then…well, all bets are off. They help Harper through her heat and it’s the best 4 days of their lives. They decide after the heat that Harper is THE ONE, and they all agree (along with Harper) to start a real relationship (but to keep it a secret for the time being). Everything seems to be going well until Harper’s mom tells Harper about the “ridiculous” rumors she’s heard about how Harper is involved with Pack Daxton. Harper is terrified. She’s afraid that she’ll ruin her mom’s life AND the alphas lives as well. She’s certain they’ll lose their jobs, and that her mom will be furious so she sadly tells the alphas that their relationship isn’t working anymore and that she’s going to move away. The alphas are heartbroken but don’t put up a fuss because they believe that Harper doesn’t love them, because if she did she wouldn’t break off their relationship so easily. Book one ends with Harper ending their relationship, and the alphas letting her go.

**THOUGHTS**

This is (even with the drama ridden “taboo” step-brother trope) a ridiculously sweet omegaverse RH. Hannah Haze always delivers a “feel good” story. No matter how much drama or angst is involved everything always works out, AND the “ride” to the HEA is honestly never bumpy. Her characters are always tooth-achingly endearingly sweet, and their story is always on par with their easy going personalities. If you want a feel good totally non-dark omegaverse RH read then this book is definitely a must read. You’ll reach the end without any “knots” in your stomach or any queasiness over sensitive subject matter. It’s definitely a light-hearted, easy read that’ll have to ready for book two, and happily looking forward to the inevitably sweet HEA.

Hannah Haze delivers another delightful Omegaverse romance with Pack Education. This time, she throws in a stepbrother twist and a healthy dose of second-chance romance to spice things up. While the miscommunication trope makes an appearance (and might frustrate some readers), the overall story is engaging, fun, and oh-so-steamy.

What I loved:

The Premise: Harper returning to Rockview and finding her stepbrother, Daxton, and his two best friends as a fully formed pack is a fantastic setup. The tension and awkwardness are palpable, especially given their past history.

The Characters: Harper is a strong and driven omega who knows what she wants. The alpha trio, Daxton, Owen, and Wyatt, each have distinct personalities that complement each other and create a dynamic pack dynamic.

The Spice: Haze doesn't shy away from the heat. The intimate scenes are plentiful and scorching, making this a satisfying read for those who love their Omegaverse with a generous helping of spice.

The Emotional Core: Beneath the steamy encounters and playful banter lies a sweet and tender love story. The characters grapple with genuine emotions and vulnerabilities, making their connection feel authentic and earned

Miscommunication: The miscommunication between Harper and the alphas, while understandable given their history, stretches a bit long and could frustrate some readers.

Cliffhanger Ending: As this is the first part of a duet, the book ends on a cliffhanger, leaving you eager (and maybe a little impatient) for the resolution in the next installment.

Overall:

Pack Education is a delightful addition to the Rockview Omegaverse series. It's a fun and sexy read with a sweet and emotional core. If you're looking for a steamy Omegaverse romance with a touch of angst and a whole lot of heart, this book is definitely worth checking out.

Nooooooooo…the cliffhanger! Man, I didn’t realize this was a two part story when I started it. And the second book isn’t out yet! It’s torture I tell you.

This is actually a 4.5 ⭐️’s for me. I really enjoyed it!
4 🌶️’s. I loved the spice!

This story is about an omega and a pack who have an encounter when they were young. A very hot week long sex-a-thon. Then they go their separate ways. They don’t see each other again for 10 years. When they do the pack is looking to settle down with their very own omega and our FMC isn’t in the running because she is the step-sister of one of the Alpha’s *GASP!*. Then she gets roped into helping her step-brother and his pack find an omega. Meanwhile she’s reliving memories of being with them and trying not to pine for them with limited success. It was torturous! I was like pleeeeeaaase just get on the same page! Please please please! Then they do at the very end buuuut Harper (our FMC) gets inundated by her mother about how horrible it would be if she was with them because of their familial relationship. They are step siblings but did not become that way till Harper was 18 and Dayton was in his 20’s. In fact they’ve only had the one run in the 10 years their parents have been married. So it’s really not as weird as everyone is making it. Regardless, the fear of how their relationship will look to the outside world causes Harper to leave before they can even get started. It sucks big time! Now I have to wait a month to see how this group will figure out their issues, assuming it ends in a HEA. Good lord, please let it be a HEA!!! Ok, I will be here impatiently waiting….

I ate this up so fast!!! 🍑🍑🍑

So we have our fmc Harper. She is somewhat of a fiesty Omega. She is extremely driven and knows what she wants in her life. I really enjoyed her personality.

Our mmc's are Wyatt, Owen and Daxton. Wyatt is our very quiet alpha, Owen is charming and easy going and Daxton is stubborn but so loyal to his packmates. They are all doctors and experts in their selected fields but they lack one thing and that's an Omega to call their own. Oh and did I forget to mention that Harper is Daxton's step sister???

Hannah always seems to suck me in with her characters and worlds and this was no different. The story consists of past and present tense which I enjoyed because you did get to understand what actually happened 10 years prior. Harper returns 10 years later and things are definitely awkward. The guys have now formed a pack and are searching for their omega. They can't help compare their dates to a certain someone. It gets complicated so fast especially when feelings get involved. This does end on a cliffhanger and it was so sad. I really hope they get their happy ever after but I think they are soul mates ♥️

Read this story!!! It's so worth it, I loved every second of it.

Thank you so much to Hannah and your amazing team for giving me the chance to read this story and be apart of your beautiful ARC team. It is such a privilege. I am forever grateful 🙏

I'm not gonna lie. I flipped my crap when the time jump happened. I wanted to scream at Hannah, because why!! Why would you leave us hanging like that?! But as I continued to read, I realized why she did that, and I didn't want to scream anymore. I actually love how she wrote the book. I thought it was well planned out, and everything flowed smoothly.

I love forbidden romance, and this fits that category so well. Step brother and his insanely hot 2 best friends who form a pack? Yes, please. I like that we get to see the challenge in trying to deny what they were feeling. The "this is wrong, but it feels so so right." Then we get to the time jump and find out what's been happening in their lives. And the reunion is just as electric as before.

The ending tore me. It does leave off on a not so okay spot, but there is an HEA in book two. Which helps to know that they will get their happy ending. Reading it from Dax's POV was heartbreaking. He knew what was coming. And then, having Owen and Wyatt realizing what was happening was just heartbreaking.

I absolutely love this book. It has everything a good contemporary romance should. With a bonus of omegaverse. I absolutely can not wait for book 2!

I love a Hannah Haze Omegaverse book! Every time I pick one up, I know I’m guaranteed an engaging and fun read with lots of spice and a sweet but not overly sugary storyline. Pack Education is the latest in Hannah’s series of interconnected standalones and this time around, the heroine is an Omega who longs for an education and a career as opposed to a pack like most other Omegas. Enter stepbrother Daxton his pack of Alpha doctors and one interrupted study session turns into an experience none of these characters will ever forget!

This book is packed with all of the longing and pining you’d expect from a forbidden romance, and I loved every angsty moment. These characters crave each other and you can feel the need these alphas have for Harper. The good news is that Hannah doesn’t keep us in limbo for too long giving us plenty of the knotting and nesting we expect from an Omegaverse romance.

This is part one of a duet so it ends on a cliffhanger, and while I have an idea as to what comes next, I know Hannah will find a way to surprise us! One of the things I love about this author is that she never keeps us waiting for long, and I can’t wait to see how everything concludes in part two!

Hannah Haze knows how to write an omegaverse and add into the mix a stepbrother and I am instantly hooked. This story will have you instantly hooked and drawn into the story of Harper and her stepbrother (Wyatt) and his two friends (Owen and Dalton). These three men are close and you can tell they have a close knit connection and each vibe of each other. Harper is the girls whose focus is on her school, work and showing an omega is more than her basic instincts. But at the end of the day an omega and three alphas in a house together can only lead to one thing, a one off good time over the summer with Harper and the boys moving on to different things. Time passes and Harper returns home to find out that the boys have formed their own pact and are now looking for their forever omega but are having no luck. Harpers mum decides since Harper is an omega then they should use her to give them an insight into omega’s and what they need to do to meet and hold on to their forever one. Tensions rise between the four of them and as time passes on with them spending more time together a fire is ignited bringing them all together. The only problem is how will other people perceive them together, can they really have that happily ever after. All I want now is book 2.

I knew this being a duet was going to hurt, but OUCH to that cliffhanger!

Hannah Haze has great OV down to a science, every book she writes is honestly gold and I could not get enough of this one. I love a steam step-situationship that turns into true love but has more than a few bumps along the way. This book gives the reader that trope with a cherry on top.

Harper was such a great FMC to follow for this story. She is strong and smart and knew that she wanted to do something with her life when most omegas never seek higher education. She sees another part of the world but when she comes back home, she instantly gets right back in those feels for her step-bro and his pack!

Daxton, Owen, and Wyatt are such swoony guys, all being doctors and loving their jobs (as well as being very good at them) is such a fun aspect that adds tension to the entire situation with Harper. I couldn't get enough of them when they decided to talk dirty and the spice *faint*.

I need part two like yesterday!

Time jump…

I have to start by saying this had one of MY pet peeves in this book. Time jumps. This book has a 10 year time jump before the characters meet again after the first time. Grumble grumble. Ok so I’ll try not to show that irritation in my review.

The characters meet when Harper is 18 and after her mother marries Daxton’s father.

Daxton, Wyatt and Owen have a week of “fun” with Harper while the parents are away on vacation. After that week they go there own ways, even after they all fell in love. JUMP 10yrs until they see each other again. (Insert side eye) 10 years? To me that’s too much time but that’s my opinion.

The sexual tension is still there between them all. But Harper has been recruited by her mother to help her stepbrother and his pack to find an omega.

Harper keeps sending mixed signals about what she wants. Her heat sets upon her and she chooses them for it. She also says she’s ready for them all to be together. But we get left on an ending with a change of mind, heartbreak and confusion.

Pack Education: Part One is the sixth book in The Rockview Omegaverse series by Hannah Haze.

💜 alphas, omegas, betas
💜 friendships
💜 finding a pack
💜 heats
💜 🌶🌶🌶 spice

Harper is trying desperately to study for the entrance exams for getting into college. The problem? The three alphas playing outside in the pool. To her omega nose, they smell way to good and if she allows herself to look, well they look as good as they smell. She hates using the A/C because of the smell it gives off, but if she has any hope for her studying she needs to do something. Will she be able to get into the college she wants? Will she be able to ignore those alphas?

This is a good addition to this series. Harper has a determination to prove that she can do what she sets her mind in spite of her being an omega. I love that she has a friendship with an ones from a previous book. It brings more of the world together. Harper has a lot of feelings a decisions she must go through to figure out what she wants. This book does end on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I’m a long time Hannah Haze stan and I trust that what she puts out I’m going to enjoy—and I wasn’t disappointed! The MMCs are dynamic and interesting and it’s feels like a new take on OV romances we love! I don’t mind the step brother thing, especially since they didn’t grow up together? So that isn’t an issue to me.

I will say I wasn’t a big fan of our FMC. She makes a point of her goals being about disproving people who doubt omegas/stereotype/underestimate her designation, and yet I found her to be one of the more judgmental about other omegas. There’s a “not like other girls” vibe that I’m not about. I just don’t love the need to make other women into ditsy, shallow jokes you know? The FMC should stand out because she’s great/a great fit for the MMCs, not because other women around them are crap. It wasn’t a glaring issue but hoping that disappears in the second part—which I am eagerly awaiting!

Although I am definitely not one for the step-brother trope, this one gets a pass. If they never have a moment or feeling of being siblings, I hardly think it counts. They were adults when they met, 6 months after their parents got married, and it was lust at first sight. He was never her 'brother.' And because I feel that way, their constant denial of feelings because they 'couldn't possibly be together what would people think' got kind of tiring. But I know it's needed for the drama, so alas.

That being said, I did enjoy this book! More than I expected to, given it's a step-brother romance. I would have liked more from the 'educate the pack on how to please an omega' part of the plot, but I appreciated how quickly things moved along. I love a soft, sweet, easy OV and this definitely delivered. I will be eagerly awaiting the resolution in part two.

This author is really good at making things seem very impossible for her characters. This book starts off with a younger Harper and her guys. Harper is a super smart Omega who presented late and is finding it hard to ignore her new Alpha step brother and his friends. And things end up escalating. Fast forward 10 yrs later and Harper has achieved her dreams, but is going thru a break up and heads home. Only to find that her step brother and his friends have formed a pack and are now living in Rockview.

So of course you get a lot of running into each other and memories popping up all over the place. It made for a very interesting book for sure! The ending for this one is crazy. And I really can't wait to see how things will come together in the next book. Especially with all the obstacles that are in the way!

3 stars. Not the most compelling of the series but I'm enjoying it. Daxton and Owen don't seem distinct enough personality-wise to me besides having differing hair colors, and with Wyatt I can't tell if he's just a more geeky, less emotional person or is on the spectrum? I'm not sure what the author intends. Also Harper's personality seems to flip flop. I think it's supposed to be that she's more bratty with the boys and that's her being comfortable with them, but it's not like a subtle shift, it's like her personality takes a 180, it's a bit odd.

This book is actually pretty well written. The biggest problem that I have with it is the conflict, though. They are not blood related, so why would this affect their jobs?

I feel like things went pretty quick, though. It would have been easy to put both books into one. Many times anymore, I am seeing multiple book stories that could easily be pared down or combined. In this case, it could have just been the two books combined, since very little happened.

I do wish there was a little more character development in there. I would like to know more about the guys and to be able to differentiate between them better, honestly.

I don't understand her running at the end, too. She seemed OK with everything when she was with them, then all of a sudden I guess everything got real and she just decided not to go through with it? I guess...

I will definitely be moving on to part two now.

This has a lot of tropes I love and I knew going in I wasn't going to be a big fan of the pregnancy aspect but decided to give it a shot anyhow.

Despite having tropes I love this one was a bit of a miss for me. The MMCs don't feel distinct enough minus Wyatt who I can't really get a feel for. The jumping between past and present made it hard to follow. The thing that really put me off the whole book though was the foot stuff. Feet are so gross to me and I nearly put it down for good. That is a TW I desperately needed. I did eventually go back after a few weeks to finish. The end felt weird like she suddenly had all these internal conflicts and many of the conflicts would have been easily navigated had they all sat down to talk. I don't mind miscommunication as a plot device but it has to be done in a way makes sense and in this case it felt a bit shoehorned in.

I absolutely loved this book!
Hannah never disappoints me with her omegaverse and she didn't let me down with this one. I love the whole stepbrother trope, so that was an added bonus.

I fell in love with Harper and her story.
It was filled with drama, humor, lots of feels, tension, and spice.

Daxton, Wyatt, and Owen, I loved these alphas. I was rooting for them to be with Harper the whole time. There was some resistance, but for obvious reasons. No bullying. The steamy scenes were hot and perfectly placed.

That ending though, i guessed it was coming, but it still made me so sad. I'm hoping we get book 2 soon, because my heart needs a happy ending for Harper and her hopeful alphas.

3.5-3.75 ⭐

Tropes:
🎨omegaverse why choose (MFMM)
🎨stepbrother's pack
🎨time jump
🎨forced proximity
🎨forbidden romance

Hannah's ov novels are always super quick reads and this one was no different. And of course with all these duets, the cliffhangers are KILLER. But thankfully I don't have to wait too too long (i think) for the resolution. I enjoyed the premise of the overall plot, but some parts of it were frustrating. Look, I enjoy a forbidden romance, but the disgust and hatred from other family members show how much they don't care, even if they were all meant to be in a pack together. I did enjoy how their relationship grew through their "lessons" lol.

Thanks to Hannah and DragonFire for the eARC!

I just loved this book, the story line it follows was so interesting and I read the whole thing in a day, the back and forth between presents and the past kept it interesting and seeing all the other characters from the other books in the series was the perfect balance between teasing the other books and developing the characters past their own book. I found Harper a fun kind of dramatic her her character was uniquely fun to read
spoilers after this point:
I did find it a surprising that Harper's mom was disgusted by the rumors going around about Harper and Daxton's pack because honestly I thought the mom knew they were all in love and was pushing Daxton and Harper together but I guess I was mistaken lol.

Heartbreak and Pack Stanton

Harper meets her stepbrother while her mother and stepfather are away. Dexter, Owen, and Wyatt are home from college, and Harper has a crush on all three. They share a brief fling lasting one week. Afterward, they don’t see each other for ten years until Dexter and his best friends return, forming a pack just as Harper returns home from Paris.

Pack Stanton is in search of an Omega, and Harper's mother believes she is the perfect person to teach them what an Omega is looking for, unaware of the connection Harper has with Dexter and his friends from a decade ago. The author skillfully weaves the story, keeping readers invested in how events will unfold. The story ends on a cliffhanger, and I look forward to book two.
