The Heir of Archonia

Rate this book
Archonia was built on magic and the ashes of a fallen empire.

Ruled by an Archon who has remained on the throne longer than any before him, some fear the pillars of the kingdom grow weak. Others that a tyrant has seized control.

And a resistance is building.

In the tiny village of Riverbend, brothers Vander and Cayden prepare for the summer harvest and care not about the politics of the capital. But when a stranger from their past arrives with a warning, Vander and Cayden are thrust into a conflict that's been brewing since before they were born.

The world doesn't know, however, that they hold both the key to peace, as well as a terrible secret that could tear the kingdom apart from the inside.

The Heir of Archonia is a love letter to traditional epic fantasy written for fans of The Wheel of Time, Shannara, and The Bound and the Broken.

A brutal coup ends a family line. Or so it thought. Hidden in a remote village two brothers intend to take a kingdom back. Ravenous bloodthirsty creatures hunting each step.

A battle mage/elemental magic whirlwind of action. A tale of courage, resilience & brotherly love.

Classic fantasy themes but done really well. I was hooked right away. The book really never slows but it’s packed with a lot of heart. Essentially a book about family.

Good stuff.
