Fighting For their Forever - The only thing on Aurora’s mind was to escape from her pursuers and get to safety, but she soon found herself in a dangerous situation with no way out. However, luck was in her side, as her ex-boyfriend stepped in to save her. The reunion between Aurora and Blake didn’t go well, but she managed to convince him to help find out what happened to her family. However, things didn’t go as planned and they found themselves in another dire situation, which they were luckily able to get out of.
Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with Aurora being amongst them, which led to her being kidnapped and her life being in danger. As luck would have it. Blake quickly realised what had happened and mobilising his clan, so they could not only rescue Aurora, but also deal with the threat to all their lives permanently. Learning the truth about what happened convinced them to grab hold of the second chance they had been given with both hands. This was a really fantastic, fast paced story, that you will definitely enjoy as much as I did. Grab a copy of this book now and£ you won’t regret it.
I received a copy of this book free and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
I was so surprised when I started this book and it jumped right into action and there was little to no background or backstory. Really I had to stop and double check to make sure I hadn't grabbed a second book or sequel at first. Normally a first book doesn't start like this. But nope, this was the first book and it was jumping right in. I hoped that after the action was over we would get some explanation and get caught up. I'd like to know how we got here, how they met, how they became ex's.
No, lots of action and intrigue. But, we never really get a back story or any backstory. Just a fast read that doesn't really offer us much of a rich storyline.
I know they are fighting for their forever. Typically mates are fighting for their forever. Aurora just wants to escape her pursuers and get to safety but finds herself in a dangerous situation with out a way to escape. Lucky her ex is there to save her. Blake and Aurora's reunion doesn't go well but somehow she does manage to convince him to assist her in finding out what happened to her family.
Of course, things don't go to plan and they find themselves in yet another bad situation and they are lucky to get out of it. Sadly not everyone is happy that Aurora is with them and this leads to her being kidnapped and her life being in danger yet again. Blake quickly realizes this and mobilizes his clan to go and find her so they can rescue her and deal with the threat to all their lives once and for all.
After they learn the truth about everything that happened, convinces both Aurora and Blake to grab onto the second chance that they have been offered with both hands and not let go.
In some ways I wish there was more detain in the beginning, I nearly DNF'd this at the start but pushed through and I am so glad that I did because once I got past not having all the information I really enjoyed this fast paced story. If you can get past not knowing everything and just jumping into the action then you will really enjoy this one as much as I eventually did.
Aurora was Blake’s fated mate but she left him. She joined another pack led by Marcus, her friend, but now the unthinkable has happened. Aurora is on the run. She is being chased. Her urgent need is to escape from the deranged person chasing her. She is out of time and luck. But then at the last moment, Blake saves her for now. Exciting, vicious, the worst betrayal, fear and pack mentality. A good story and an unusual character trait in the female lead character.

The action starts on page one, and it doesn't let up. Would I have liked to see more of the backstory, why Aurora and Blake were exes. I didn't feel it was really explained. But their here and now is definitely spicy. This was so fast paced, you almost miss the lack of substance. Enjoyable as far as it went. Quite short and fastly read. I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.
The book jumps right into action. At first, I thought it was a second book to a series. Perhaps there will be a book bringing us up to this point. I would like to read how they met and how they became exes. There is no lack of action and intrigue and it is a fast read, I, personally wish there was a richer story line leading up to this point.
Short read with lots of action and betrayal. The death of a pack blamed on the sole survivor. The greed for power causes death and lies to fall on the wrong person.
