What does it mean to be human, to be made in the image of God? How should Christians live in a broken world? As Edwin's plans converge and the Empire's campaign against the Fae and human resistance intensifies, everyone is transformed. Lord Owen wrestles with the change in the Fae's relationship with El, Niall announces his chosen successor, and Aria must be the bridge between new human allies and the Fae.
But time is running short, and the Empire's demonic power is quickly narrowing their choices. Will the truth be able to set them, and the rest of the Empire, free?
C. J. Brightley lives outside Washington, D.C., with her husband and their two young children. When she's not busy writing, she teaches karate, bakes too many desserts, and makes jewelry. She loves to connect with readers!
So, I stayed up much later than normal finishing this, but i couldn't put it down! The tension really racheted up the last ten or so chapters and I wasn't sure some characters would make it out alive.
