Hang on and you might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, darkness, secrets revealed, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way! Emilia is sweet with a little spice, but dating isn’t her thing so her friend her sets her up on an arranged blind date with a man twice her age, but he was interesting she enjoyed her date and later she finds out later he is a good friend of her father’s. Marco sexy as all get out much older Don agrees to a blind date isn’t a man you want on your radar, he is ruthless, dangerous, on a good day, deadly every day, and dating his friend’s daughter wasn’t a good idea but having feelings for her an even worse idea or so he keeps telling himself. Emilia’s father just informed her that Marco is to be her husband because she needs protection Marco agreed to marry her for his friends Antonio her father because things are coming down the pipe that could put his daughter right in the pathway. The magnetic pull is still there between them, but he is holding parts of himself back from her, yet he grows more in love with her the more they are around each other but when things go from bad to worse betrayals come to light but she is worried about him, can they find their balance that works from them, and will it lead them to happiness along the way?

Emilia who had a great time one an arranged blind date by her friend with Marco who is 24 years older than her, finds out from her father, Antonio, the don of the Ricci family, that this man is now going to be her husband.

Marco has agreed to do this for his friend Antonio. Antonio wants his daughter protected unbeknown to her, because there are power plays which are playing out in the background, and he doesn't want his daughter caught in the crossfire.

Both Emilia and Marco navigate their feelings for each other. There is attraction there and lust but can that become love when Marco won't open up about his past to her?

Marco, because of his past has always been happy about being alone but Emilia has gotten under his skin. His feelings for her are getting deeper each day. He vowed to protect her as a favour to his friend but now he will protect her with his life because he loves her.

But when things take a turn for the worst for Emilia and her family, the power plays start. Now Marco has more to fight for, he has to protect what's his at all cost. Emilia is dealing with grief but also anger and betrayal. She is worried for Marcos' life, the man who she loves.

Can Marco protect his wife or will Emilia who has been shielded from the dirtier side of her father's business have to step up to the plate and show she is made of stronger stuff?

Emilia is set up on a blind date by her friend and she doesn't know what to expect from the night. However, she definitely wasn't expecting Marco and her night gets interesting. Marco is an older guy, and he has been asked by Emilia's father to marry her. he thinks it would be a better approach to start seeing her without her knowing everything first. Sparks fly between them and Marco is drawing her in while watching for threats to her family. Will Emilia be upset over how Marco came to be in her life? Can he convince her to take a chance on him?

This is an amazing story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

OMG this was another great book. Piper Raven has outdone herself once again. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down literally. Emilia and Marco romance was captivating once again another arranged marriage. They couldn't even fight the temptation any longer as the chemistry and physical attraction between them was strong and spicy hotness. This mafia world was crazy for her as her life was about to change forever and it was a dangerous twisted to this moment.

This is the story of Emilia and Marco. Emilia is the daughter of a mafia boss and is married off by her father through an arranged marriage to a friend who is many times older than her, she did not plan to get married but to go on a date with Marco. But things do not go the way she wants, partly because of her father with his plans, but also her brother Dante has it in for her because she has the majority of their father's business and he does not agree with that. Can Marcus keep her safe and can he find out in time what Dante is planning? A beautiful story with enough drama, danger, action and a lot of steam.

This is a good book from Piper Raven. I laughed and got nervous throughout the book. The surprises that Mia receives are so unexpected.

An extremely excellently written story which has suspense, intrigue, thrills, and spicy romance with a wonderful happily ever after ending.
A story about two people who are brought together due to a mafia don wanting his daughter protected so he asks a friend to marry the daughter.
The two didn’t know that they would fall for one another so deeply. The daughter soon is put into a dangerous game of betrayal that puts herself and others at risk but soon the betrayal is shone to light.
At the end the couple is happy and in love.

Arranged marriage with Mafia Dad’s best friend

A blind date that’s really a meet and greet between the older groom to be and the younger bride to be. Marco is hot as sin and Lia is stunning. She doesn’t find out until the next day that her father arranged the blind date and the upcoming wedding. Her stepbrother has plans of his own to kill his father, arrange a marriage for his stepsister and then kill his father so he can take over the business. And Lia has no clue her future husband, Marco, is/was a hitman. The story holds your interest, keeps you guessing and takes you on a wild ride through the characters’ lives.

A Page Turner

If you like mafia romances you’ll love Emelia and Marco’s story. As with most mafia romances, there’s no shortage of drama, fast action or danger. Be warned, once you start reading you’ll find this book hard to put down. It has it all, arranged marriage, sabotage, hit men, age-gap, murder, surprise baby, romance, sexy scenes and more. Love this Mafia series. Action packed from the first page to the last. When Emilia set out on her blind date she never realized her blind date was really the first meeting with her future husband. Marco Bianchi agreed to the arranged marriage to Emilia to protect her from the unknown threats to her life. Great read.

She goes on a blind date with him set up by her best friend. Later to find out shes to marry him for her protection. Theirs is a journey filled with twists and turns. A rollercoaster ride for sure.
This is a deliciously dark romance with suspense, intrigue, secrets, betrayal, kidnapping. family drama and passion.

Marco and Amelia's love story isn't typical as most are in Mafia, age gap books. Marco actually gives their relationship a chance and is definitely her protector. The title of the book, I feel, is misleading though. Marco isn't a Don and his vows seemed heartfelt not twisted. Regardless of that, this book is a great read with the addition of family drama and angst to go along with the love story.

All of the Deadly Don's books are great reads. This one is just as good as the others. There was definitely Twisted Vows in this book, but what happened was necessary because it stopped a Don from being killed. Definitely worth reading if you love mafia romances where there is a happy ending. I recommend all of these books for the action that happens alone.
