Part of a series, but easily read as a stand alone, this was a rollercoaster from start to finish. The plotting centres around obsession and love, mixed in with urban explorers and it worked very well. I liked the characterisation, especially Annie, and the little touches of humour throughout despite the growing body toll! My only complaint is that it was just too short and the end came very suddenly. I would recommend it to lovers of thrillers.

As usual I LOVED reading more Swift and O'Malley. The cases they cover are always unique and very intense, throw in the Annie and Joe relationship and their cohorts Tink and Page and it is funny and fun...intense and nail biting and an all around fabulous story. I can hardly wait for book 12 to come out especially as there was a bit of a "curious" ending. OOOhhhh what is Joe up too?

The many many 5 star reviews talk for themselves! O'Malley and Swift went back to the roots and it was fantastic! I loved every second I had with this book - I couldn't wait to continue reading and the case was gruesome, twisty and fun!

Please keep the O'Malley drama to a minimal, we didn't miss Mim or the dad at all! This is what we needed! More of the MCU and their quirky ways!

Great Read

This was a great book which I found hard to put down. It was very dark in places & not for the faint hearted, but it was an excellent story and plot with an unexpected ending!

Oh my word this one really grips tightly, and Annie & Swift, Tink & Page have there work cut out to find the killer, and it was the last one I would have suspected, another brilliant read which I really enjoyed.

my grandma gave me this book and at first i was a bit unsure about reading it as it is book 11 of a series but i didn't feel like i was missing any key information. the story line was so original and gripping, the ending was not predictable and the pacing of the story was really well done! love it, i need to read the rest of the series now!
