"Within a Novel" by Evan Miller is an absolutely brilliant and unputdownable supernatural thriller. It's fast-paced, gripping, and features short chapters that keep you hooked from start to finish. The author's vivid and brilliant writing style immerses you in a world where suspense, horror, and the paranormal blend seamlessly.

The story intertwines multiple narratives seamlessly, focusing on Myles and his psychic journey, alongside the complex relationships involving Shanna, Molly, Korbin, Jake, Amanda, and a haunting presence. Initially, I was intrigued by the dual storylines and how they would connect, but as the narrative unfolds, Miller skillfully weaves them together, keeping the tension high and the plot engaging.

What impressed me most were the diverse elements within the book. It seamlessly incorporates supernatural elements, a poignant love story, ghosts, thrilling suspense, and emotionally charged scenes that evoke a range of emotions from fear to empathy.

Myles's encounters with the old lady and other ghosts sent chills down my spine, showcasing the book's supernatural allure. The fate of Jake and the poignant end scenes of Shanna and Korbin moved me to tears, highlighting the emotional depth of their stories.

Overall, "Within a Novel" is a captivating read that delivers on every front. Evan Miller's storytelling prowess shines through in the rich character development, haunting setting, and relentless suspense. I loved every aspect of it .And all the characters are perfectly written. I especially loved Shanna molly and Korbin.I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am eager to explore more of Evans works.

Evan Miller's 'Within' is a captivating psychic thriller that centers around Myles Dunn, a man with extraordinary abilities. Myles possesses the gifts of telepathy, empathy, and mediumship, which allow him to read minds, feel others' emotions, and communicate with the dead. These talents came naturally to him and have grown stronger over time.

Myles is invited by Professor Billy to speak at a university seminar for psychology students. Myles went for the seminar and at times he felt as if his abilities were a curse. He has a fear of ghosts, who refuse to speak to him, and he regrets not being able to ask his Oma important questions before she passed away. Despite his limited knowledge, Myles is tasked with significant challenges in a short span of time.

The plot thickens when a student named Korbin seeks a private session with Myles, adding another layer of intrigue. The story is enthralling and keeps readers hooked from start to finish. Fans of psychic phenomena will find 'Within' particularly appealing. The narrative is filled with unexpected twists and turns that maintain suspense until the very end. Myles Dunn is a compelling and immediately likable protagonist, making the novel an engaging read.

Wow

This was a free book I found in one of my daily emails, so I downloaded it became it sounded "ok". I had never heard of this author before, and being 'free' wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn't put this book down. The story line isn't something I would normally go for, but the main characters abilities intrigued me, and all the characters were likeable. I recommend this book

Good read

I enjoyed reading this and felt the plot carried through the transitions well. only thing off was the writers use of geographic terms. instead of saying some one looked at he said glared and in the South glared stands for looked with anger so the first few times it was used I backed up and re-read thinking I missed why they were angry. I did enjoy the plot though

For me this supernatural horror was a bit of a slow burn which picked up once Myles realised what he was dealing with. From that point on I found it a very intriguing read.
My favourite character was Korbin. I liked his personality and how the author portrayed his angst in the second part of the book.
Solid plotline. Gruesome scenes. Great ending.
