After one too many failed attempts, Jewelisha Benson lives by the motto fuck love get money. it was good but flawed
Like the first this book needs a trigger warning page so here a few I caught
- kidnapping
- sick mother \ she has aids
- Abortion talk
- Domestic Violence \physical abuse
- Choking
This book was okay to me, however I do not like the over fixating on the “bbw” thing in this book, it was said so many times it was almost cringy, especially being that it was meant to come off as “supportive” and “empowering” for real BBWs. I definitely think the book is lacking in some areas especially when it came to her abortion, and we didn’t see how they made up. I also didn’t really like the Dakota character she seems a bit TOO ditzy for me and I thought sure there was something else going on with her and turns out she had a thing with Wraith. I love that jewel is so head strong and is a girls girl but I would have loved to see her soften up some more even if it was only in the bed room and hand over control. The book is still written really well and the story line and it’s definitely entertaining, though I said before I started this book I wouldn’t read the third I think I will just because the plot and characters are genuinely entertaining. There is just some holes and inconsistencies. I also thought sure Shelly was in on this robbery thing that happened but we didn’t get how that ended so I do not know. It almost feels like at about 75-80% the author didn’t know where to take the story or what to write next so it just rushed to an end without actually closing the holes in the story.

Great Read ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥
I enjoy this book from the beginning to the end. Jew was a mess she kept me laughing with the things that came out her mouth she most definitely didn’t think first. Diego and Jew made a great couple because both of them were crazy lol. I can’t wait to find out who else were in on the robbery, I have a strong feeling it’s the daddy because he wants to still run things. I wonder what’s going to happen when Diego finds out that his brother didn’t kill Dakota. Can’t wait for the next book because I know Wraith and Dakota’s story gonna be good. Keep up the amazing work.

this was a hate-read and Im upset with myself for even doing it.
I initially dnf'd this book when jew let Lick do what he did to her because what?
I then sent back to it after 2 months and I hate that I did. this book was messy and not in a good way. I kept reading of the love Diego had for Jewel but that ish was nowhere to be seen. Jew letting him back in so easily without letting him grovel or court her annoyed me..his apology was weak af too. there was absolutely no romance in this book and I'm so upset I read it from start to finish. this man would call her a b*tch/h*e and he handled her too rough for my liking. I would not recommend this book at all

I love a good toxic couple, with a crazy toxic relationship. Not to mention Jew & Diego were just as funny, as they were toxic. So looking forward to Wraith & Dakota’s story. You can tell Wraith is going to be same vulnerable sap, sniffing behind Dakota, like he used to clown Diego about Jew. So sad about Jew’s mom. Just the little insight we got, you can Ms. Tina’s story would be a tear jerker. Diego’s parents are so trash, classless, & downright disrespectful. Hopefully they don’t make an appearance in Wraith’s book.

Wow, this is definitely a good read. I enjoyed the second book. I was surprised that Dakota and wrath had a thing going on. I can’t wait to see how long he gonna be able to hide this from his brother that they know each other. This was not it. I could not stand Jew. She wasn’t a woman she was a little girl playing games. She was not likeable at all. She was so weak it wasn’t funny. How was she his right hand when she couldn’t even make smart decisions about her personal life? This story line wasn’t well thought out.

Why did Diego think Jew would be okay with having her friend killed? And why the book end with him still thinking that and she'd get over it? He really put a hit out on an innocent person knowing they're innocent but still wanted her dead to prove a point. Nigga, what?! Make it make sense. I wanna like Diego but that move makes me not like him. I'm mad😠😂

One thing that’s sure to happen when I read a LaToya Nicole book is getting my laughter on. And this book was no exception. It started out a little slow for me, but I actually enjoyed it. Jew and Diego were straight up toxic and a time bond waiting to happen. I was a little confused by that ending and can’t wait for things to be revealed in book three.

Never a disappointment!
Jew was a boss! I loved hw confident she is about herself! ( On time for the big girls!)

Was not expecting that ending at all. Jew and Diego was something else broke up years ago and got back together. Pres still crazy but Lady keeps him in check. So glad that Diego and his fat ma as he called her made it work. Can't wait to see what's next

I absolutely loved this story. Omg Diego and Wraith are a dangerous duo. I loved how Jew and Diego found each other again. That cliffhanger at the end though…. I wasn’t expecting that. I can’t wait for the next installment. Omg. Who would have thought that Wraith was capable of that 😳
