Leona Connecting with my wolf is proving to be harder than I thought. Between trying to shift, dealing with my overwhelming family, and figuring out this relationship with my new mates, my life is a constant whirlwind. To make matters worse, my father is in the picture, bringing chaos I don’t need. One of my mates isn’t making things any easier, and handling his attitude is just one more thing on my plate. And then there are the weird dreams that won’t stop haunting me, leaving me more confused than ever...
Seeking is book two in the Whispers of the Hidden Wolf Series. These books must be read in order.
This series is part of the Arcane Bloodlines Universe.
Last book it felt like the fmc had a real relationship with one of the guys. No chemistry with the other two. This book tries to fix that but I really feel like it didn't work. Thorne loses some of his personality at times and becomes distant pretty much so Castor can be written in in his place. It does slowly start to work. Still feels odd.. But Hunter. He was such a jerk the last book and even the first part of this book. And suddenly..he is not. I thought for sure he would do some heroic deed and risk himself to save her from some situation...(cliche...but I would have eaten it up) but no. That does not happen. In fact, a minor apology and then suddenly because she found her wolf it was all okay. But really, the chemistry between the two character felt off to me still. The story itself is ok. Its different which is probably why I enjoy it so much. Its not the typical fmc is the chosen one and must defeat the big bad to save the world story. Though I feel like its heading that way. The jumping into the past and constant confusing dream scenes are a bit annoying.
What in the world did you do to me Quell. Leona is a wolf shifter. She has Thorne and castor but hunt needed to stop ducking around and accept her. Which he eventually does but Leona forgiving him so easily is one of the things I don’t get. She is a fighter and has been but she submitted to him so easily. I know he is her mate and all but he was still an asshole. Thorne and castor in my opinion shouldn’t care so much about pack life.
Seeking is the second book in the Hidden Truths series by Quell T. Fox. This book is a paranormal reverse harem novel where the main female character, Leona, is mates with three supernatural beings, Hunter, Thorne, and Caster. This book picks up right where the first one ended. We get to learn more about the guys and their pasts and why they act the way they do. There is a lot of character development from the first book to the end of the second book. And when I tell you the spice and heat level went up in this book, I absolutely MEAN it. It will make you feel like you need a cold shower in holy water to get over what you read. It ends on a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more and waiting for the next book to come out.
A steamy and hot story with so much more. Excellent character growth and development, especially for Leona who is slowly uncovering the truths about herself and is learning to trust and believe in herself. Her chemistry with her men is off the charts, even though I want to smack a certain someone up the back of the head multiple times lol. This book definitely gets you in all the feels, sad, frustrated (*cough* Hunter *cough*), laughter and on the edge of your seat. Got smacked with that ending though and I cannot wait to see what comes next!!
This story picks up shortly after book 1 - Leona and the guys are living together, and Hunter is still being a jerk, but Castor is becoming more open. I liked seeing the guys relationships with their family and the sisters were pretty awesome. I really did want to see more grovel from the guys, and aI feel like Leona was in the right about the secrets. That being said, I really did like the story overall. The story does end with a bit of a shocker - I’m really hoping book 3 is out soon :)
Seeking picks up right where Searching ended. It's a paranormal RH series. This book goes into more depth about the male main characters and we see them develop over time. Their chemistry is also amazing! Leona is finally getting answers and coming to terms with them. She was my favorite. I'm still on the fence about Hunter but I'll wait. The plot is promising and mysterious. It ends in a Cliffhanger so be ready for that. I can't wait to read the third book.
Wow! I just love this series! The FMC is finding her voice and taking what she wants without regret. The guys are wildly different and each one has their greatest attributes to the group. It’s hard to pick a favorite which isn’t normally hard for me to do when reading RH. Quell does an amazing job keeping you interested, it would be super easy to read this book in one sitting!
Seeking is Book 2 in Quell T. Fox’s series Hidden Truths. It picks up right after the first with Leona trying to find her animal and connecting to her men after finding out they’re her fated mates. We finally get to see more about the men and their pasts. I love the relationship development for each. I can’t wait for the next book.
Awww! A freaking cliffhanger for a book not yet published, how cruel. I have read every book and am rewarded with NOTHING ! Good grief. I am missing some crucial information. I overlooked tense mistakes and got over errors (although they were less in each book.) T he storyline didn’t lag and I wasn’t bored at all. Writing is definitely improving.
I absolutely loved this book, it was even better than the first, alot of books I find the second in the series not as good but this wasn't the case with this one though! Their was a couple of errors within the grammar and their was a chapter which said Leona which in fact was Thorne. Does end on a cliffhanger but a good one! Cannot wait to read the next!
I’m loving the mess out of this series. I get so caught up in the story, and that’s all I can think about. The characters are amazing, Leona is a little more aggressive in this book than before, and she is starting to feel herself with her guys, that’s for sure. Such a great book, cannot wait to see what happens next.
Leona and the guys have to adapt to their situation. I was not able to put this book down once I started it. I can't wait to read the next book because that cliffhanger left me at the edge of my seat.
It was a good continuance from book one. But it ends abruptly in a multi cliffhanger. The characters seem like real people and aren’t perfect nor ideal.
This is book 2 in the Hidden Truth series and continues Leona’s quest to find her animal and connect with these guys who claim to be her fated mates. It took me a bit to get into the first book, but I was all in by the start of this book.
I love the distinct relationships between Leona and each of her guys. But I swear, I was on board with Thorne and Castor with killing (not literally) Hunter. He. Was. So. Frustrating. At every turn. It was ridiculous. But we were meant to feel that frustration so kudos to the writing for making it happen.
There is still so much more mystery and storyline to be told and I, for one, am really look forward to book 3.
