Walter Elias “Walt” Disney (December 5, 1901 – December 15, 1966) was an American film producer, director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist. Disney is famous for his influence in the field of entertainment during the 20th century. As the co-founder (with his brother Roy O. Disney) of Walt Disney Productions, Disney became one of the best-known motion picture producers in the world. The corporation he co-founded, now known as The Walt Disney Company, today has annual revenues of approximately U.S. $35 billion.
Disney is particularly noted for being a film producer and a popular showman, as well as an innovator in animation and theme park design. He and his staff created some of the world's most famous fictional characters including Mickey Mouse, a character for which Disney himself was the original voice. He has been awarded four honorary Academy Awards and has won twenty-two competitive Academy Awards out of fifty-nine nominations, including a record four in one year, giving him more awards and nominations than any other individual. He also won seven Emmy Awards. He is the namesake for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in the United States, as well as the international resorts Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Hong Kong.
Disney died of lung cancer in Burbank, California, on December 15, 1966. The following year, construction began on Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. His brother Roy Disney inaugurated the Magic Kingdom on October 1, 1971.

An early and well-known cartoon creation of the company, Mickey Mouse, is the official mascot of The Walt Disney Company.

Die großen goldenen Disney-Bücher sind aus meinem Regal längst nicht mehr wegzudenken. „Das große goldene Buch der Eiskönigin-Geschichten“ durfte in meiner Sammlung daher natürlich auf keinen Fall fehlen. Es ist bereits der zweite goldene Disney-Sammelband aus dem Frozen-Universum, mit einer neuen Zusammenstellung der schönsten Abenteuer rund um die Schwestern Elsa und Anna und ihre Freunde Olaf, Kristoff und Rentier Sven. So feiert man zum Beispiel eine königliche Pyjamaparty mit den beliebten Charakteren, plant eine Geburtstagsüberraschung für Schneemann Olaf und begibt sich auf Eismonster-Jagd. Auch eine Sommer-Parade wird veranstaltet, an den Winterspielen der Eisfarmer wird teilgenommen und zusammen mit Olaf erlebt man einen perfekten Sommertag am Strand.
Eine wirklich kunterbunte Mischung aus insgesamt 12 Kurzgeschichten erwartet einen hier, die einen nicht nur in das winterliche Arendelle entführen, sondern auch an andere aufregende Orte wie die Schwarzen Berge, wo die Trolle leben. Dank der kurzen, leicht verständlichen Texte eignen sich die Erzählungen sehr gut als Gute-Nacht-Geschichten und sorgen für wunderbare unterhaltsame (Vor-)Lesemomente.
Neben dem Inhalt begeistert auch die Optik auf ganzer Linie. Mit seinem festen, weißen Einband, den vielen goldenen Elementen sowie dem prachtvollen Goldschnitt kommt das Buch sehr edel und hochwertig daher und ist der reinste Blickfang im Regal. Im Inneren geht es genauso schön weiter. Zahlreiche Bilder erwecken die Geschichten zum Leben, jede Seite ist liebevoll und farbenfroh gestaltet, sodass es eine Menge zu entdecken gibt. Dass auch dieser Band, wie seine Vorgänger, durch die opulente Ausstattung recht schwer in der Hand liegt, schmälert das Lesevergnügen in keinster Weise. Es macht einfach Freude, zu diesem Schmuckstück zu greifen und immer wieder darin zu schmökern.
Fazit: Mit „Das große goldene Buch der Eiskönigin-Geschichten“ hat der Carlsen Verlag einen weiteren wunderschönen Sammelband herausgebracht, der die Herzen aller Disney- und Frozen-Fans höher schlagen lässt. Auch dieses goldene Geschichtenbuch ist der perfekte Vorleseschmöker für die ganze Familie und verzaubert kleine und große Leser*innen ab 4 Jahren mit märchenhaften kleinen Abenteuern, bunten Illustrationen und ganz viel magischen Disney-Feeling. Von mir gibt es 5 von 5 Sternen!
