Never Underestimate the Power of an Unpredictable Witch
The Sisterhood is under intense scrutiny, which means Bianca and Leda are feeling the pressure to organize themselves.
When the Eastern Network faces unparalleled rebellion, the High Priestess Camila Aldana approaches Bianca to ask for her help. Bianca rebels again Leda's wishes and agrees.
To prove they deserve currency for their work, Leda sets Bianca to meet with individual Council Members and convince them to support the Sisterhood in an upcoming vote.
But Council Member Georgette is determined to stall the Sisterhood before it takes hold, and Bianca's assistance in the East is actively working against them.
Can Leda and Bianca define who the Sisterhood will serve?
And can they do it before it's too late?
A BOLD REBELLION is the tenth book in the thrilling YA fantasy collection The Network Series.
My world revolves around my husband (who is a major hottie), my precious kids, my Vizsla’s who act like children, and the mountains.
I wear hiking boots instead of heels when I need to feel powerful, and on a bad day, I love a weightlifting workout. Actually, I love it on a good day.
I don’t eat bread because my thyroid doesn’t like it, although there are days I miss it. Especially ciabatta. Sweet potatoes are kind of my thing. Cookies too.
I write because I never stopped.
Author of The Network Series, The Dragonmaster Trilogy, and The Coffee Shop Series.
I love grown-up Bianca. She's been an incredible character from the minute she hit the page as a desperate teenager in MMSFG, and we've watched her struggle and grow through endless trials over 10 books. And grow she has, into such a strong, inspiring, confident woman.
Though the plot of this book involves a mysterious rebellion in the Eastern Network, the heart of the story is Bianca coming into her own and finding her true purpose. And Derek, too! (I love his arc.)
Not sure if this is the last book, so much happens—wonderful things and horrible things. War, killing, saving. Meeting Merricks family. So much in this book—there is another book, I will read it for sure. Hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did.
With this book I am almost caught up with all of Katie Cross’ stories. I still have Darkest Abandon to read and I’m stalling on it because I don’t want to be done…all caught up!
This story takes Bianca down a path to her independence. She is officially all grown up and, honestly, I appreciate this. She isn’t being rescued. Her fierce independence matures in this novel. I appreciate the twists and turns and how a storyline comes full circle.
As always Ms. cross enriches the world of Ankara, fleshing out the characters and “countries”.
