‘Dare you enter the world of MONSTERS?
The beloved World’s Worst series has captivated millions of readers. You’ve met the world’s worst children, the world’s worst parents, the world’s worst teachers, and the world’s worst pets – but are you ready for the world’s worst monsters?
If you don’t like ghosts, ogres, zombies, vampires, aliens, werewolves, or mummies, DO NOT READ THIS BOOK.’
I absolutely loved this book.
I am a massive fan of David Walliams’ books so I was very excited to get my hands on this one. I am very happy to say that this book was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. I honestly think this might be my favourite of David Walliams ‘The World’s Worst’ books.
I loved that all of the monsters were familiar not completely made up creatures. And the way in which David Walliams created new awesome stories for these monsters was interesting and thoroughly entertaining. I loved the anticipation of seeing where he was going to take each monster’s individual story as I made my way through this book.
Adding to the fantastic stories by David Walliams were the utterly stunning, full-coloured illustrations by Adam Stower. The illustrations perfectly capture the stories being told and made me want to spend extra time on each page just admiring them even. The combination of Walliams and Stower made for a truly fantastic reading experience.
I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this book. I have already read it twice and I can easily see myself reading it again and again in the future. After this fantastic installment to ‘The World’s Worst’ series, I can’t wait to see what David Walliams comes up with next.
The World’s Worst Monsters by David Walliams is an absolute must-have for all Middle-Grade readers.
