I absolutely loved this book so much it is my book of the month I hope David Walliams makes The Worlds Worst Monsters 2 and this book is 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book.
I am a massive fan of David Walliams’ books so I was very excited to get my hands on this one. I am very happy to say that this book was everything I had hoped it would be and so much more. I honestly think this might be my favourite of David Walliams ‘The World’s Worst’ books.
I loved that all of the monsters were familiar not completely made up creatures. And the way in which David Walliams created new awesome stories for these monsters was interesting and thoroughly entertaining. I loved the anticipation of seeing where he was going to take each monster’s individual story as I made my way through this book.
Adding to the fantastic stories by David Walliams were the utterly stunning, full-coloured illustrations by Adam Stower. The illustrations perfectly capture the stories being told and made me want to spend extra time on each page just admiring them even. The combination of Walliams and Stower made for a truly fantastic reading experience.
I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this book. I have already read it twice and I can easily see myself reading it again and again in the future. After this fantastic installment to ‘The World’s Worst’ series, I can’t wait to see what David Walliams comes up with next.
The World’s Worst Monsters by David Walliams is an absolute must-have for all Middle-Grade readers.

A book for children with some stories that try to scare you with monsters, ogres, vampires and old ladies with their steaming cauldrons…
I can tell you that I would have loved to have been able to read this as a child. It would have been really cool.

I want a second book with kracken in it. It had also wrote a letter to David Williams "Dear Mr Williams
Why wouldn't you include me, the kraken in your tone? It is OUTRAGEOUS! I am the world's worst monster! All of the other monsters in this book would quake in fear if they saw me. Obviously, I am water based, and I can't really function on land but still. TERRIFYING. I demand you to write the world's worst monsters 2 and put me in it.
NO ONE INSUKTS THE MIGHTY KRAKEN!

Ever-popular with children, but I'm ready for a break.
These were seen as easy reads by my secondary school students (when purchasing for my school library). Formatting, bright colours, short chapters/stories makes them easy to pick up, there's plenty of silliness and puerile content to keep children giggling.
But as parent/librarian, I'm now getting annoyed at the deterioration in quality of Walliams' writing to the extent that I'm struggling to even read them aloud to my 6-year-old.
My boys and I actually came up with suggestions for the author in the car this holiday, as alternatives to More Worlds' Worst Children (suggestions available on request, Mr W). And while Monsters was a good idea, half of these are more WW Teachers/Children under another name.
Poorly plotted on the whole, resorting to 'don't eat yellow snow'-type humour, I am gratefully heading back to wider and more fulfilling reads with my youngest now.

I am enjoying reading this📚book. I enjoyed 📚 chapters 2 about the bat family flying. I liked the pictures of the family bats..?. I liked reading about 📚the werewolf beenning a pen pal with Buster the 👦 that werewolf would write to.and liked the werewolf moblie dressed up t fur. I liked the idea 💡of werewolf family to worry this story might incourage young children to get a pen pal from they schools by reading 📚the chapter about werewolves. I did like the story about the little girl 👧and the frog too.

Stories with children and monsters don’t usually end well. However, David Wallaims collection of ten tantalising stories breaks the tradition and introduces young readers to popular monsters with lighthearted backstories. These may not be the scariest monsters you meet, but they can definitely entertain children with fun adventures and differing personalities.

David walliams returns to the bestselling “world’s worst” series with a monstrous mission. There were definitely fewer jokes in this collection of short stories. Adam stower does a great job of bringing Walliams written scenes and escapades to life through vibrant cartoons and colours.
Wallaims successfully revamps gothic literature icons and urban legends as inspiration for stories for a younger audience. However, most of the stories are a bit misleading with most monster’s being friendly. It would have been interesting to see more stories with suspenseful scenes or unhappy endings, considering the horror theme.

I really enjoy reading David Williams books there such a quick fast read but there also so interesting to read. I really enjoyed this book and learning about all the different horrible monsters. The illustrations in this book are drawn so well and done so good. I love how David uses made up words but they fit into the story so well. I really like how David writes his books and makes them so enjoyable for both children and adults to read. I like how each and every character was so different and not just the same and boring they was all interesting and fitted into there story so well xxx

This was amazing .I loved it so much ,however some of the monsters where Kind not a mysterious or scary as I hoped for it to be . I hope David Walliams brings out a book that is called the world's worst monsters 2 . If you would love to read this plz be careful or if you don't then read the book if you dare. This decreves a 5 star rating . X

I love David Walliams books and collect them, I feel they remind me of my childhood and reading Roald Dahl as a child, a once again brilliant book by David Walliams, great stories and great illustrations
