Very helpful

When someone else is grieving, many of us seem to think we know what will help them deal with their grief. But when something happens in our own lives, we may become so caught up in our grief we have no idea what to do.
The book starts by reminding us grief can be caused by the loss of a loved one, a divorce, loss of a job, or many things. And grief may not begin until years after the event.
Smart and simple ideas are given to help us find some relief from grief. This book really helped me.

As a person that usually reads fiction, switching from “creative” literature to “informative” literature was somewhat difficult. Thankfully, this book came at a time in my life.

Knowing that loss comes in many different forms; this book is helpful to point out that healing from any loss is one of personal journey. As a whole we all will grieve differently, and that’s normal.

I recommend this book to anyone that has experienced loss.

A good starting book for me. Some very good tips for coping. Stay as busy as possible but having trouble sleeping at night. My wonderful greyhound is really helping to keep me grounded. Tonight a grief share class.

This book explains and walks you through the different way of dealing with your grief. The different signs that can make you aware if someone may need help.
This book was so helpful to me and I didn't even think I needed help dealing with things that have happened in my life. From the loss of a dear friend, divorce, job loss and moving to a different state.
This is a very helpful book - I think this is a must read for everyone.

An excellent resource for someone that is dealing with loss. While the book is small, it packs a lot of information.
