This was a fun read. I rather liked the layout using cards for certain panels. Some may dislike all the jumping around from past to present, but I loved it. John Layman added some good depth to the Martians so it's up to you to decide who the bad guys are. (Personally I'd have no problem joining a book club that has a Martian member.)
