RED WAVE 5-CONCLUSION-THUNDER IN OUR HEARTS.
November 2024.

I didn't really enjoy the way the whole Sarah Gaunt kind of fizzled out..even the revelation from last issue was clawed back.
I did enjoy how Rogue/Anna Marie/Ms.LeBeau is being portrayed and the role she takes.
Next issue?
Focus on the new X teenagers?

Gail Simone is on fire!!!

The characterization of Rogue, Gambit, Wolverine, Jubilee , and Nightcrawler is spot on. You truly feel that these five love each other. The series would honestly be perfect with just these five, but we have the added bonus of four new mutants who don't feel like any mutant teens that have come before them. Sarah Gaunt is an interesting villain, and I look forward to finding out her full backstory. My favorite part of this book is that it reminds us why Rogue is one of the great superheroes. While I was initially upset with the end of the Krakoan Era, this series has shown that the X-Men line is in good hands. I can see this run continue for another 200+ issues.

This one was good but the pregnancy thing frustrated me. I can understand that Sarah needed to believe it and that Charles couldn’t live a lie, but I hate that story line and it ruined an interesting relationship for me. I’m sure many people find rep in there, but I was just taken out of the story.

Really good wrap on this story - if I only had one complaint I wish there had been more substance to the resolution. It felt at times as if the wrap up was too short of snippets. And I love the cover art.

In this issue, the conclusion to the introductory arc, Rogues proves she has the grit, tenacity, and compassion to be the leader of these X-Men. She is the leader they need right now. The creative team crafted a splendid story for her to shine like the star she is.

Demasiado pronto para un enfrentamiento con un X-Men titular en una situación de ida y vuelta de la Muerte...

I was a little disappointed with this story arc. It felt out of place with the former X-Men storyline

the end of the first arc and a fitting conclusion.
