A great tumble through time and nostalgia with postcards—of all things—as the storytelling medium. Weiss shares fascinating accounts centered in and around Akron, Ohio, and these postmarked artifacts are just as fascinating to look at. A nicely illustrated and informative book, this belongs on the coffee tables of anyone who even has a passing interest in midwestern history—no Akron zipcode required.

Very well researched! I loved the equal attention that was given to the subject of the postcards and the stories of the people who sent and received them.

I really liked the first part of the book that had "then and now" comparisons of buildings in old postcards and the same locations today.
