This book took me a while to complete. Partially being the fact that before finishing the last several chapters, I went through a tough point in my life and had not picked it up for that period of time. I think this author has a lot of potential to improve based on the complexity of this storyline. I also had no idea it was a part of a series until after I completed the book. I felt as though the characters were under developed yet the plot was immensely complicated. I was not sure what genre was used. It was a thriller, turned romance, tied to mythology somehow. Overall I'm thankful for the opportunity to be sent this book but I don't think I will continue this series. Thank you for your time.
This book was passed to me by someone who knows the author and I read it in a day. I really enjoyed reading it but I need to know how this series ends!
