I don’t date. Ever. And especially not single dads.

I’m cursed and refuse to damage anyone else despite my yearning for a picture-perfect family. So when my brother asks me to organize his company’s fall festival, I happily trade my lonely nights of binge-watching fitness videos for pumpkins and hay bales.

Everything is going great until my brother's new employee Dawson Reed volunteers to assist me plan the party. He's hotter than a bonfire and has a son as sweet as apple pie.

The problem with being around Dawson is he’s making my forbidden dream of a white picket fence and happily ever after seem possible. But I can't. I’ll just have to accept my fate as a reclusive witch with a broom and black cat.

Except…I want that life. I want them. How do I chase after my dream while keeping my past from destroying everything?

Fall With Me is a sweet with a sprinkling of heat single dad, forced proximity, and opposites attract romcom. It has all the cozy fall vibes you'd expect such apple picking, a fall festival, hiking, watching movies, football, and yummy food.

The fall vibes were great there were college football games, apple picking, a fall festival, and Halloween. I really enjoyed this! This was really fun and a great single dad Rom-Com. There were some slightly cringe-worthy moments and the third-act breakup made me so mad but other than that it was great! Also I read the author's note which I never do.

The characters
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chloe ~ I liked her for the most part. She has the same name as my eight year old cousin though so that was slightly weird.
Dawson ~ he was a great dad always putting Finn first.
Finn ~ He's Dawson's adorable eight year old son.
Carter ~ he was ok I guess I don't have much to say about him.
Kate ~ she was a good friend.
What to expect
🍁 Sworn off Love
🍁 Opposites Attract
🍁 Single Dad
🍁 Forced Proximity
🍁 Cinnamon Roll MMC
🍁 Pumpkin Spice FMC
🍁 Dual POV
Quotes
~~~~~~~
😜 I purposely move closer to Chloe, speaking low. “Thank you. I wasn’t sure how things would go with him. I want to stay as long as possible to help, but his attention span doesn’t last long.” “I’m happy to distract him if it keeps you here.” “Are you trying to kidnap me?” She laughs. “Maybe.”

🔥 Her smile is like basking in the glow of a campfire on a perfect fall night.

😍 My plan so far consists of keeping a rubber band around my wrist. Every time Chloe says or does something that makes me want to respond in a witty way or pull her into my arms again, I’ll snap my wrist to stop myself. I foresee a very red, very sore wrist by the time I get home tonight.

Content

I don't hate it...", mild innuendos, Dawson says he can't wait to help Chloe take off her Halloween costume, he also mentions that the first time Chloe slept in his bed Finn walked in And he had to explain about the birds and the bees to him,

🤬Language| s-xy, hell, dang, heck, crap, crappy, crappiest, freaking, d-mn

🗡️Violence| wanting to strangle, hit and slap someone,

🏳️‍🌈LGBTQ| none

✝️ Religion/spirituality | Mentions of things being heavenly felling like your in heaven etc. Dawson wants to tell a guy to not let the door hit him where the good lord split 'im, Chloe is jokingly called a witch by herself and by Dawson

ARC review (very late)

I liked this book, it was cute and full of love.
Chloe was afraid to open her heart after her mother left her and her brother but she couldn't resist Dawson and his son. They borrowed their way into her heart and she just couldn't shake them.
Dawson was recently divorced and the last thing he wanted was another woman but Chloe was always there and he couldn't ignore what he felt even if he wanted to.
They threaded very lightly because of Finn (his son) and that was a very good thing. When kids are involved, things are not as simple.
They were a good couple and I liked them

"Fall With Me" is the fourth book in the "Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice" series, a delightful, fall-themed collection of sweet, clean romance stories penned by various authors. If you've been searching for that perfect cozy read, this series is it! I don’t add many books to my favorites list but this one went on my favorites list immediately!

I was captivated by this story within just a few pages. The chemistry between Chloe and Dawson sparks immediately, making their first meeting one of the most exciting meet-cutes I've ever read. Dawson, who arrives late to Chloe's fitness class, finds himself enduring a tougher workout than anticipated and quickly becomes the center of attention for all the women there.

Chloe is the kind of character you'd love to call a friend-she's smart, athletic, and appears to have it all together. However, beneath her confident exterior, she's struggling with a past that keeps her from pursuing the deep connection she craves. She's built walls to protect herself, but as she continues to cross paths with Dawson, Chloe begins to question whether her life might be missing something she needs more than just friends and family. As Chloe herself puts it, "I don't date. Ever. And especially not single dads."

Dawson won me over from the moment he didn't back down from that fitness challenge, even though he easily could have. He has a way of just being there for Chloe, and every time he showed up, I couldn't help but smile. His offer to help organize a fall festival had me cheering, and watching him slowly chip away at Chloe's defenses was pure joy. His bond with his son, Finn, adds another layer to his character.

I especially loved seeing the contrast between Dawson's close-knit, supportive family and Chloe's own experiences. Finn's unconditional love for Chloe was heartwarming, and it was touching to see how the Reed boys helped Chloe let down her guard and accept the love they had to offer. Their developing relationship was wonderful to watch as was all their bantering too!

From apple-picking to exploring different venues and spending time with Dawson and Finn, every moment of this story felt special. I loved all the fun interactions, how Dawson handled all of Chloe’s energy and competitiveness was incredible. I felt like we were right along with them. Chloe and Dawson’s relationship was so cute and made me envious of their nicknames for each other! They couldn’t be more adorable and their nicknames were perfect! I didn’t want the story to end, and was excited when I got to the Bonus Scene! It gave me all the happily ever after l'd been longing for. This was my first read by this author, but it certainly won't be my last!

Another cosy fall romance in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. Book 4 comes from Amanda P Jones and is the story of a sweet single dad and a spicy gym owner, who end up working together for his boss, who is also her brother organising a Fall Festival.

Chloe’s first meeting with Dawson has her putting him through a tough workout. Their second meeting has his sweet little son Finn spilling his root beer all over her white shorts and sneakers at a football game. Not the best start to their relationship but then Chloe’s twin brother asks her to help plan and organise a Fall festival to help impress some clients, and eager to impress his new boss Dawson decides to offer his help. The more events and food places they visit as research, the closer they become.

I loved Dawson, his patience and endless love for his little boy was amazing. Although he didn’t like his ex’s behaviour and attitude, he never once let this project onto Finn and instead encouraged contact with his mother whenever Finn wanted. I adored the fact that Finn loved Chloe almost from the very start, his hugs for her and wanting to spend time with her were just so adorable. I also loved how Chloe quickly became attached to Finn, despite her adamance that she was not mother material, an image stemming from her own mother’s abandonment of her and her brother when they were small.

Both Dawson and Chloe grew as people towards the end of the book, but I wanted to bang their heads together when the third act breakup hit. I felt both characters overreacted which blew them apart, they needed a proper shove in the right direction. But all in all, I loved their story arc and I loved how they helped each other.

Fall With Me is the fourth book in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. This is a multi-author series with all books being able to be read as standalones or in any order.

What a sweet story this was! From their first meet cute when he shows up late to the fitness class she was teaching, I was absolutely drawn in... and their second meeting? Even more so. Despite their somewhat awkward initial interactions, these two had a really nice, easy chemistry between them and just seemed to fit together so well. Unfortunately, Chloe had insecurities about ending up like the mother who'd left her and thought being a mom and wife wasn't in the cards for her... and Dawson is a single dad. Despite her initial claims of not being good with kids, I absolutely loved her interactions with Finn and seeing that relationship develop as well. It truly added so much to their story and I loved seeing how both characters grew throughout the story. Between the easy banter and flirting between Chloe and Dawson, the sweet nicknames and ALL the fall vibes that came along with planning the festival, I couldn't help but enjoy every minute of this story!

Fall With Me is a closed-door romance with kisses only and minimal minor language.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Fall With Me was the first book I have read by this author and was a great introduction to her novels! Chloe, Dawson, and Finn all felt very realistic. All three were likeable characters, yet they each had certain things that weighed on them. Dawson’s son, Finn, had a few melt downs within the story and obviously missed his mom, who he video chatted with weekly. Dawson was concerned with giving his heart to someone again, as he was afraid that they could decide that he and Finn weren’t worth sticking around for. And Chloe had major abandonment issues that made her believe she might not be a good mother.

Yet, Dawson and Chloe began falling for each other, even as they both tried not to. And it was so sweet! I loved the way they opened up to each other and shared their fears. Their romantic chemistry was definitely swoony and Chloe was so good with Finn. He adored her!

They still faced some hurdles as they tried to navigate a relationship and my heart hurt as they went through a particularly trying time, yet it made their relationship that much sweeter once they worked through it. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author.

Fall With Me is a delightful romantic comedy that immediately won me over. The chemistry between Chloe and Dawson is evident from the beginning. Even though they’re attracted to each other, they have past issues holding them back from admitting it. Their first meeting is downright funny, especially when Chloe puts Dawson through a tough workout in her fitness class.

Dawson, a devoted single dad to his son Finn, really adds to the story. It’s heartwarming to see his commitment as a parent. Despite claiming she doesn’t like kids, Chloe is charming with Finn and develops a cute friendship. It’s lovely to witness how Chloe and Dawson gradually break down their barriers and learn to trust each other. The autumn setting adds to the charm, especially as Chloe and Dawson team up to plan a Fall Festival for a company.

If you enjoy a wholesome romantic comedy featuring opposites attracting, a caring single dad with an endearing son, apple-picking contests, and a dual point of view in a lively fall atmosphere, then Fall With Me should be at the top of your reading list.

This sweet romance is perfect for Fall reading! It is the story of creating a life of your own and learning to let others be a part of it. This is a story of family, found family, and supporting others. I enjoyed Chloe and Dawson and watching them connect and figure out how to let the other in. Finn was a part of the appeal as Chloe and Dawson figured out how to create a life that includes a child. I wanted more of Kate and Carter and hope that they may have future books of their own. I recommend this for readers of sweet romances

This was a cute, sweet fall rom com read. I love the single dad trope so was excited to read it. Maybe it was the mood I was in when I read it, but it felt a bit too light for me. It is part of a multi author series where the women are sassy, pumpkin spice ladies and the men are cinnamon roll, sweet guys. I didn’t feel that difference much, or maybe just not as strongly as I did in one of the other books in the series I read.

Thank you to the author for an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow. There were a lot of big emotions in this book. Dawson was a sweetie and Finn was adorable. But Chloe? Chloe nearly broke my heart for all the emotional damage from her childhood she was still caught up in. I wanted so desperately to reach into the book and hug the stuffing out of her. Thankfully Dawson and Finn had that mostly handled for me. I loved seeing the way their families and friends supported them. And speaking of family, I’m kind of hoping there’s a book on the horizon for Chloe’s twin brother because he’s caught my imagination now and I want to know more.

Fall With Me is the third part in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. I really love the autumn romance vibe throughout this series and was really excited about this book. The main tropes for this books are forced proximity and dating a single dad.
Amanda P. Jones has a nice writing style. I would describe this book as cosy romance. I really loved the worldbuilding and development of the storyline. In addition, the characters were just to fall in love with.

More 4 1/2 🌟 Fall With Me is another book in the multi author Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series and is a closed door romance with kissing only. This was such a sweet story with single dad Dawson, his son Finn who truly made this story and Chloe. Chloe believes she doesn’t deserve love until she meets Dawson. I adored all the fall themes as well. This was an enjoyable read. I received a complementary copy from the author.

The best book of the series so far. I really liked that the setting is my local area! The pumpkin patch/fall festival they attend in the book is the very one near my house that my family gets a pass to every year, and in fact I can hear the fireworks while I am writing this review. (In the author’s note she explains the liberties she took for the sake of the story and one is that adults are not actually allowed on the jumping pads which is absolutely not always true. Maybe it depends on who is running it but just last year my husband and I jumped on it with a bunch of kids and had so much fun.) ANYWAY this is a single dad romance where the characters both have traumas from a variety of last relationships to work through. Dawson’s response to the big climactic event was totally ridiculous (I broke my arm as a kid when I had a baby-sitter at the house and my parents just hired her again the next time they needed a sitter). There was a little too much drama in the story for me but it was counteracted by the great romance and the fall-ish-ness of the story.

Content: kissing, some mild innuendo and a couple of mild curses

Fall With Me was such a fun, cute story! @authoramandapjones did a great job of developing the main characters, Chloe and Dawson, as well as Finn. The characters were very lovable and relatable, flaws and all.

Earlier this month, my family relocated to Utah and this book was so fun to read all the local Utah sites.

I loved the meet cute, apple picking, planning the festival, searching the venues, football games and references and many more.

This book is the 4th book in a multi author series. They can be read alone and out of order (like I am reading them 🤣).

“Happiness is more important than your fear. Let it go.”

~Chloe doesn’t date. Ever. And especially not single dads. Chloe thinks she’s cursed and refuses to damage anyone else despite her deep yearning for a picture-perfect family. So when Chloe’s brother asks Chloe to organize his company’s fall festival, Chloe happily trades her lonely nights of binge-watching fitness videos for pumpkins and hay bales. Everything is going great until Chloe’s brother’s new employee Dawson Reed volunteers to assist Chloe plan the party…

“HER SMILE IS LIKE BASKING IN THE GLOW OF A CAMPFIRE ON A PERFECT FALL NIGHT.”

🍁-Fall With Me is a sweet with a sprinkling of heat single dad, forced proximity, and opposites attract romcom. It has all the cozy fall vibes you’d expect such apple picking, a fall festival, hiking, watching movies, football, and yummy food. What I enjoyed about this story was that, Chloe and Dawson were not looking for love. Their priorities were focused on family, friends, and work. Yet unexpectedly, they were able to find the right person when they least expected it. Despite their experiences being vastly different, they shared the same root hurt, abandonment, which helped them lean more on each other for help, understanding, and even patience. I loved that there was such redemption in this story. It was heartwarming amazing to see dear characters rise above their circumstances, and not let fear stand in the way, to be able to love someone else fully! This dear story has the wonderful fall vibes and is a story worth the read, anytime!📚🙌🏻🍁

Oh my word… Dawson, Finn, and Chloe have my heart!! I have never read a book by Amanda P. Jones before… but, I know for sure after this one it won’t be my last! I absolutely adored the way Jones created characters that were so genuine- which makes this story so relatable to readers. There were definitely a lot of sensitive topics touched on in this book, (childhood trauma, addiction, low self-worth, feeling like a failure, etc.), but I think the discussion was done in a very graceful/careful way as to not distract from the storyline.
Chloe doesn’t date… in fact, she’s done her best to avoid any situation that could lead to dating over the last couple of years. So when her twin brother asks her to organize a fall festival for his company, she welcomes another distraction and gladly accepts!
Enter Dawson and Finn Reed, who Chloe has a not so cute meet-cute with at a University of Utah football game. Let’s just say, football and eating nachos while watching football are some of her favorite things… and Finn sure put a damper on that. Dawson happens to be a new employee of Chloe’s brother, who for some strange reason after only recently meeting Chloe offers to help her plan the entire festival.
Chloe is longing for a perfect family of her own… but because of her past childhood trauma, she’ll never allow herself to get into a situation where creating a family is an option. However, after spending so much time with him… she can’t stop thinking about Dawson, (who is a walking green flag), and definitely making her rethink her decisions about her life path. Could things work out between the two of them? Should she take a risk and see where it goes? I highly suggest reading Chloe and Dawson’s story to see what is in store for them! As a bonus… you also get to spend time with Finn, who is a little boy that has been through so much, but is still such a little love! Read this book if you’re looking for fall vibes, with a single dad/forced proximity situations, and opposites attract main characters.

Before I begin, I would like to thank Amanda P. Jones for allowing me to read her upcoming book, Fall With Me, which will be available on Amazon on October 1st, 2024. This story is part of the multi-author Cinnamon and Pumpkin Spice Series, and I highly recommend you check out the other authors’ works as well.

Chloe is used to being alone after so many years even though she wants to have a family of her own. This is exactly why she agrees to help her brother plan his company’s fall festival to keep her busy, but she never expected her brother’s employee. Dawson Reed. He’s handsome and his son is sweet, and the more she spends time with them, the harder it is to keep a distance in order to prevent everyone involved from getting hurt. Can Chloe decide to act in spite of her fears and reach for the future she has always dreamed of?

This book was fantastic. You have Chloe, a driven, talented, and caring young woman that is a great fitness trainer and knows how to make things happen. You have Dawson, a handsome and kind single father that is devoted to caring for his young son and proving his skills at his new job. I adored the communication and vulnerability that Chloe and Dawson shared as their relationship developed throughout the book, including their nicknames. Chloe and Dawson’s individual relationships with Dawson’s kid was really sweet. Honestly, I want to give Chloe, Dawson, Finn, and Carter hugs all around. Overall, if you like fall festivals, fantastic banter, relatable characters, cute kids, small town sweet romances with awesome single dads and low amounts of spice, then I would highly recommend this book. Fall With Me by Amanda P. Jones is an adorable romcom with all the fall vibes and all the swoon. I enjoyed every minute of reading this sweet romance. I especially enjoyed all the author’s references to Utah. I lived there during college, so it was so fun to see some of my old haunts mentioned.

This story focuses on Chloe, a happily single fitness instructor, and Dawson, a newly divorced single dad. Chloe and Dawson’s first two interactions are not cute. The first one involves Choe making Dawson do 20 burpees for being late to her fitness class. The second one involves Finn, Dawson’s son, spilling soda all over Chloe at a football game. While the attraction between Chloe and Dawson is strong neither one is interested in a relationship. When Chloe agrees to plan a fall festival for her brother’s company, Dawson offers to help her in order to increase his job security at the company. As Chloe and Dawson spend more time together, they both start to question why they need to remain single. The story that follows is full of heart, family, forgiveness, and hope.

Things to love:
-dual POV
-fall setting
-sexy single dad MMC
-strong, independent FMC
-adorable 8 year old son
-fabulous nicknames
-wonderful supporting characters
-swoony kisses

I adored Chloe’s relationship with both Dawson and Finn. Amanda did a great job of establishing a bond between Chloe and Finn. It was so sweet. I loved how Chloe teased Dawson about Finn being her favorite. It was so good—especially the kisses afterward, IYKYK.

I loved how Amanda handled both Chloe and Dawson’s character arcs. It was so well done, especially when they both had such strong feelings about remaining single. It was so fun to see them fall.

I adored this book. This is first book I’ve read by Amanda, so I’m excited to check out her other books.

Favorite Quotes: “‘You sent my son to bed so you could steal a snuggle?’ His brows rise. ‘Bold move to make on a sleeping person.’” - Dawson

“Six grocery bags hang from each of my arms. The back door of my duplex leads right to my carport, but making multiple trips to bring food in the house regardless of the proximity is absurd. I will lift as many bags as will fit on my forearms, despite the lingering red lines and torn shoulder muscles. And who needs their pinkies? One trip means I win and the bags lose.” - Chloe

“‘I’ll make sure Chloe stays right by me the entire time, Dad.’” - Finn

“‘Don’t follow me or come by me. If we stay apart, Dad can’t catch us. I really want fries. Don’t mess this up for me. Okay?’” - Finn

“Being around Dawson is like every comfort in life: a warm, cozy blanket, fuzzy socks, lit candles, a glowing fire, hot soup with fresh-out-of-the-oven bread, all while snuggling in his arms with a sense of peace and safety encompassing me.” - Chloe describing cuddling with Dawson (This is how I feel about my husband so I had to highlight it!)

“‘Chloe, you don’t have to leave. The dentist gave me a toothbrush the last time I went for a checkup, but I haven’t opened it yet. You can use that!’” - Finn

I LOVED this book so much! Finn was by far my favorite character! I find it funny how I don’t want kids in real life, but I mostly love their characters in books. Since I am close to Utah, I need to check out Cornbelly’s for sure! It sounds like so much fun! And Chloe referenced MASH, which I played A LOT when I was younger. This book brought back a lot of great memories along with some funny quips and some hard topics. I really loved everything about this book especially that it took place in fall, which is my favorite season! I could smell all the different smells when Jones talked about them in this book. Would for sure recommend!!

I'm really confused, apparently this book: Fall With Me: A Sweet Single Dad Romcom is the same as this current one, but for some reason split into two different books on Goodreads.

Either way, this book was just ok. The interactions were cute, similar to the other books in the series that I read, but falling a bit flat somewhere.

On a side note, is it a series? There are definitely a bunch of books that look like they're supposed to be a series, but Goodreads doesn't show them as one. Which I guess could be another classification issue on their side. See these covers as examples:
Hating the Cinnamon Roll CEO by Camilla Evergreen Falling for Autumn Again by Jen Atkinson Cinnamon Roll Set Up by Genny Carrick
Lots of similar orange fall vibes, also all clean contemporary romances that (as expected) take place in the fall.

Overall, this was a cute, sweet read with lots of relationship drama (some unnecessary) and self doubt (which I never like so much). It was an okay read, not more than that for me.

Mention of her period, mildly suggestive comments including mention of married couple in bed. Onscreen there's only kissing. Mom was on drugs and drinking.

ARC Review:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chloe is a personal trainer with no attachments. Dawson is a recently single father trying to keep his head above water. The two are introduced through Carter, Chloe’s twin and Dawson’s new boss. When the two volunteer to plan and run the company’s fall festival they begin to develop feelings. Unable to deny their chemistry they start dating in secrecy. Things appear to be going great until past trauma threatens to tear them apart.

Fall with Me by Amanda P. Jones is the fourth book in the Cinnamon Roll and Pumpkin Spice series. This is a multi-author, interconnected series that features seven books. While each book can be read as a standalone, readers are encouraged to consume all seven for best enjoyment.

As of today, Fall with Me has been hands down my favorite story in the series!!!

Chloe and Dawson were not looking for love. Their priorities were focused on family, friends, and work. As a result, life rewarded them by sending them the right person when they least expected it.

As hard as it was to read about Chloe’s past trauma, it prepared her to be the perfect significant other for Dawson and mother figure for Finn. When big or small life events triggered the trio they were able to lean on one another for help and understanding. Despite their experiences being vastly different, they shared the same root hurt, abandonment.

I loved my time with this sweet love story. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys:
-clean romances
-opposites attract
-forced proximity
-dual POVs
-festive fall settings

Special thanks to Amanda P. Jones and Pine Lake Publishing LLC for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

Chloe and Dawson's first meeting in her fitness class was classic. She challenged him and he gladly accepted. It was obvious that both characters had a competitive nature about them that would make them perfect for one another. Their second meeting was even messier.

Chloe has so much more to offer than she gives herself credit for. He past experience and relationship (or lack thereof) with her mom have jaded her views of dating and even having close friends. Her insecurities have caused her to erect walls around herself to keep everyone at a distance, except for her twin brother and one best friend.

Dawson had everything that Chloe did not have including a wonderful family. But he had his own insecurities as well. He was a fantastic father to Finn, who he had vowed to put first in his life. He was not interested in a relationship with another woman. He had been burned in a prior relationship, which means his view of relationships were also jaded a little. Maybe not as much as Chloe, but that distance was still present. As these two plan a fall festival together and as Chloe gets to know Finn, the ice around both of them starts slowing melting.

This was such a fun book to read. Both Dawson and Chloe are extremely competitive about everything, and I do mean everything from apple picking to rock climbing to board games. These characters stole my heart from the first few chapters. I knew I was going to like them both as soon as they met in the beginning. Readers who enjoy romance with a little comedy and drama will enjoy this one.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Fall with Me is Book Four in the multi-author Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. It's lovely and emotional, as so many relationships can be.

Chloe is competitive, always turning everything into bets, to prove she can be perfect and so she will be wanted. Doesn't that already break your heart? She is beautiful, kind, and gifted, but the mind can be a tricky thing when it comes to knowing one's worth. Dawson has his own laser focus to care for his son and no one else. Chloe only sees herself as someone who can't get married and have kids because she will mess them up. How perfect for a patient single dad who is pure gentleman to come and show her otherwise.

This story felt so realistic. Complicated people communicating relatively serious things, but without all the grand gestures and over the top dates. Even the errors in processing were so authentic and appropriate for this story, that the reader finds that they welcome the hard parts and tough, emotional conversations because they clarify and focus the future for this sweet couple.

This series has offered us less fluff with lots of substance across the board, and I've realized how much I adore emotional romcoms. This story hit every note perfectly, and is definitely one that will filter back on my reread pile. ❤️

I received a complimentary copy of the author's story to read and review. All thoughts contained here are my own.

📚Book Review 📚

Fall With Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chloe doesn’t date, ever, and especially not single dads. But when her brother asked her to throw the company’s fall festival, she finds herself thinking otherwise about his new employee, Dawson Reed, who volunteered to help. Dawson is sweet, caring, and fun and after being around him working on this project together, Chloe is falling hard. But can she overcome her past?

This is the fourth book in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice Series but can be read as a standalone. It’s a closed door romcom that will have you laughing out loud and rooting for them to get together. Dawson was so sweet and such a great dad to his son. Chloe does have some issues with her past and believes she doesn’t deserve love and happiness but Dawson shows her she does. Finn was such a cute character and I loved his relationship with Chloe. Being a boy mom, some of his moments had me cracking up. Totally relate to the struggles Dawson had with him, which made the story seem so real. I loved the epilogue and how it ended. Overall, this was such a cute story and perfect for all those fall vibes feelings!

This book publishes on October 1, 2024. Be sure to add to your TBR list!! Thank you to Author Amanda Jones for my advanced reader’s copy. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

This story is a good way to get cozy in the fall and get lost in autumm vibes.

We have Chloe and Dawson who meet accidentally in her fitness class. They believed they would never see each other again, but fate got them in a twist and hey... he is her brother's new employee and they are statting to organize a festival together. No problem, right? After all there's no attraction envolved. And they don't get along, and they don't start falling for each other.. yehh, just not!
Chloe is an independent woman, with a very guarded heart due to some trauma from her past. She believes she has to be perfect in order for other people to like her and don't leave her.
At first her attitude was kind of off for me, but I grew to understand her and even like her.
On the other end, I loved Dawson, a single dad, trying his best to do his job, raise and have quality time with his son, and at the same time falling in love and never knowing how to jugle it all. He was super sweet, and understanding and such a gentleman. I really liked his character.
Finn, his son, had also a major roll in the book and was a very good addition to the story.
Some side characters, like kate and Carter gave a little tease of what could be a good story altogueder (a best friend's brother and coworkers) but, that's just a thought.

“I’m better with you than I am without.”

First of all, I love books set in my home state, Utah! It’s so fun to be able to picture what the author is referencing and have that personal connection. (Go Utes!) Gotta say, the Porcupine Pub & Grille is one of my favorites. And my parents love near the canyon Dawson and Chloe visit.

The author brings so many things I love about Utah in the fall while Dawson and Chloe plan the fall festival.

Chloe is scared her past could influence her future. She’s scared to try and tries so hard to be perfect and flawless. It made me ache for her. Even seeing Dawson with Finn, at first, was difficult. I loved her journey of healing. The way she was with Finn was sweet. She’s a natural. The author does a great job with Finn, the honesty of kids is hilarious.

Dawson is a single dad, who doubts himself and runs himself ragged trying to over compensate for his ex wife. He’s hurting but is trying to be strong for Finn. Chloe and Dawson both have things to learn about themselves and I love how their relationship develops.

Dawson and Chloe have great chemistry and their banter and back forth flirting is electric.

I received an eARC from the author. All views and opinions are my own.
