The Complete Epic Urban Fantasy Adventure: Cursebreaker Omnibus
Green witch. Potion mistress. Cursebreaker. Assassin. Asha Viridian Rook is all of these things, but when she wakes up in the hospital with thirty-six stitches in her head, she has no memory of any of them.
According to the medical team, the damage to her skull was catastrophic, but Asha surprises them with her lightning-quick healing.
When the unnervingly attractive detective Armstrong arrives to arrest her for murder, she runs … but she doesn’t get very far
On the other side of the city, a woman in a strange trance tries to jump off a bridge, causing a massive pile-up on the highway and killing dozens of people.
Nicola Landau had no apparent reason to jump, and no prior record of mental illness.
The court sends Nicola to Riverside Asylum, a cruel and creepy psychiatric institution – where her real problems begin.
Asha begins to explore her home and her life, gradually learning the truth about who she is and who her friends are – an excommunicated witch, a loyal werewolf, a greasy goblin, a dwarf fairy godmother - but it’s only when she attends her coven meeting that she understands how important her job really is.
Asha is The Cursebreaker, the one whose job it is to restore balance in the Realm.
The attack that almost killed her was only the beginning. It becomes clear that there is a price on her head and the bounty hunters, dark wizards known as the Dusk Reapers, will be happy to deliver it.
With the help of a werewolf, a goblin, a grimalkin, and her hot detective, Asha must break into the nightmarish asylum to save Nicola Landau from the curse that’s devastated her life.
But will they reach her in time?
With more twists and turns than you can shake a wand at, this is a dark magic mystery with humor, adventure, and a whole lot of heart.
Fans of Patricia Briggs and Ilona Andrews will burn through this brand new addictive urban fantasy series.

Wow such and great story but it did drag in some parts but I guess that is what happens when there is so many books, Thank you JT Lawrence for a great read
This series was a love hate for me. The author has all the makings of a great storyteller but should consider a few things more carefully in her future books. First stop trying to make every adventure in a day. This is not 24 the tv series and it takes away from the story when rushed. Spoiler alert: Second the love interest and several other plot tropes were but in for the final story arch but because time to develop the love story was rushed it felt very artificial (to the point I thought he would be the villain). I could have even applauded if that was used. I feel like the story moved forward beautifully the 1st 2 books and then slogged the 3rd (to the point I almost gave up reading the series). It found its footing especially when she changed point of view letting others lead the story. I just wished she would have carried that forward more. Overall it was a good story just rushed through some of the characters to get to the final point. (I am talking about Mordecai and Apollo, mom dad?). I feel like this could have brought more to the story than some of the other twists. Overall great world building just sad to see the potential for so many great stories snuffed out.

I had no idea what an epic saga I was beginning. Worth every second.
I bought this box set from an author I had never heard of thanks to a Facebook post on a group to which I belong. I really was not expecting to be transported to a world of wonder in a country I knew little about and be taken on the most magical journey with characters who came alive before my eyes. Asha is a curse breaker but more than that she is THE Cursebreaker. Along with being a witch, vegan and orphan. She belongs to a coven, works for a secret magic organization and does some dirty work on the side. Just a normal life. But the events which start with some missing girls turn into a world ending nightmare scenario that seems to need Asha and her newfound team to stop at all costs. If you don’t buy and read this set don’t blame me if a curse suddenly causes chickens to lay eggs on your head or something. Hey, it could happen!
I read the whole set 1-6 in pretty much one go. I enjoyed the books, wanting to know what was going to happen next. The heroine starts off with amnesia and she gains a new boyfriend whose an upstanding detective at the start but who (somewhat unbelievably really) stands by and helps her with the things she has to do. She has a lot of glass jars she is juggling at once and her friends help her, the enemies are piling up, the jobs are all connected, but for much of the books she doesn't really put her heart in to the job. Only when her newly found wizardess kid gets kidnapped does she finally sort herself and do something about it. You spend most of the book getting cross at her. Still I had to know what happens and the ending is good.
I honestly got to the part where the doctor in the insane asylum hands her a gown and a diaper and tells her to go put them on, and had to stop. I have no idea if he's going to grape her if he's going to give her electric shock therapy, or what, but it seems like it's only going to get worse before it gets better. Admittedly, because of my profession, the abuse of mental health professionals is a huge trigger for me, but a lot of people here have been on the other side and being abused by nurses and mental health professionals is going to be a huge trigger as well. Here's your warning since it's not in the book.
A witch; a goblin; and a werewolf walk into a bar owned by a dwarf ……
This is a great continuation of the Realm of Magic & Mayhem series with appearances by many characters from Book 1 (Blood Magic Box Set). There is heaps of humour and excitement within the fast paced story. Join Asha Viridian Rook as she tackles adversaries head-on to fulfil her role as the Cursebreaker who must restore and maintain balance in the world between humans and all the supernaturals. Throw a sexy detective into the mix and Asha is suddenly juggling a lot of balls.
This has the potential of being a great story but I couldn’t get over the fact that Asha being a ‘talented’ witch and a great assassin couldn’t get out of tough spots. She kept giving up and resigned herself to dying. If it wasn’t for her friends saving her life, she wouldn’t have lived past the first obstacle. Another thing that bothered me in the story was that she didn’t listen. When someone comes to you and has something to tell you, especially if it’s going to help save your life, hear them out. She did this with Mordecai and her mother.
This series kept being recommended to me, so I decided to try it after failing to read the series that came before this (despite three tries, I just couldn't get into it). The author creates a magical world with ease, set in Joburg and a whole host of characters. Although there are six books in the series, they flow seamlessly one into the other as the story in each moves the entire series to it's eventual conclusion. Not a set of books I will read again, but as the genre goes, this is perfectly fine.
Wonderful story- however I am glad I got the boxed set as the endings of each book is abrupt and choppy.
When reading them all together it is a great story- although I would’ve like a little more character interaction between the massive battles she went through and would’ve loved a little bit more about her mother and they why of everything
This series made me cry, laugh, and scared. Happy. It has everything I love. It was extremely well written, and the characters were so layered and fascinating. It kept me guessing to the end. I haven't been entrapped by a book or series in a while. Thank you for this wonderful story.
I truly enjoyed this series. From beginning to end, I was hooked. The characters were interesting & nearly every one of them could have had their own series… I wanted to know so much more about them. The plot was interesting, the final villain was unexpected & the storytelling was engaging. Worth the read!
The book started a little slow and confusing with multiple characters and the reader not knowing which one was necessarily the main character. Nevertheless, the ensemble cast based around a green which you also happened to be a cursebreaker kept the story light and interesting until the end.
Absolutely engaging and hard to put down! I enjoyed the series very much and would recommend it to those who enjoy reading books filled with magic and adventure with the right mix of romance.
5 stars for these 5 books!!! They are the equivalent of high and lows. All the characters you fall in love with!! I hope everyone who sees this series reads it!! Absolutely outstanding!!! ❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The curse breaker Set was one of a kind. I hope to be able to find more of this kind in the future...The set was one humongous set of love, laugh, and excitement throughout the whole thing.
This series kept me happily entertained from beginning to end! The characters are brought to life and had me laughing and crying! JT Lawrence is an outstanding author!
This series was so fun to read, with excellent and varied characters that surprise you when you least expect it. The plot is well thought out, and the non-stop action leads you quickly from one book to the next. I definitely recommend this great series!
I was revived and in love with all the characters. I feel Rooks pain and happiness. I felt Sam's love for her. And her silent protectors. I was so sad that they died. I absolutely loved it. Every book.
This series was fast and engaging and wild. Like I stepped into the role I was so engaged. I loved the main character and the supporting ones were pretty great too. Perfect YA series for a mostly clean read. Full of magic and a little betrayal but tons of adventure.
These series have captivated me from the beginning. I laughed, I cried and enjoyed every page! I will read anything written by this author! Thank you for the journey and the strong female characters!
Finished quickly as I was able to listen for days and had all the books in my library. Just moved continuously through each chapter to the next following each character Jax continues on after each difficulty and struggles to stay alive so solve the mystery.
Many characters good and bad. The story diverts in many directions but all comes together in the end. It is not full of rampant sex and swearing but lots of action.
