I love this book! I have literally been using it for 15 years, and still do!

I had limited knitting skills from my teens, but wanted to learn how to do it properly. So when “Stitch N’ Bitch” came out in 2003, I re-taught myself with that book, and eventually wanted to expand my projects. Around the same time I got a little dog, and a couple of years later I ended up finding the knitting kit that contained this book in the bargain section at Barnes & Noble, and it has been probably my most used knitting book to date!
I fostered rescue dogs for years, and have made the Basic Sweater pattern at least 20 times for the dogs.
Clean layout, simple clear instructions, great opportunity to learn new techniques on smaller projects, and super convenient lightweight paperback format so that you can bring it with you!

I highly recommend it, and often buy it as a gift for friends!

I love this book! I don't have a dog, but I have many people in my life with dogs, so I thought this would be a good investment. I bought the kit for under $10 (I think it's only available at Barnes & Noble) and it comes with a set of needles too.

I've only made one thing from this book (for my cat to reluctantly wear); the pattern was easy to follow and the results were adorable.
