What an amazing start to 2025! The premise of this book is incredible and it was executed amazingly.
This is a captivating read that had me hooked from the start. The author intricately weaves together a suspenseful dark romance book about gang rivals, assassins and so so much more. The writing style is both descriptive and emotional, which made me be fully immersed in the book.
The characters are all well rounded and essential to the story line, my favourite is Anastasia, I love her character, she’s a boss bitch, gets things done and makes sure no one ever underestimates her. She’s a force to be reckoned with and I LOVE it. I do really like Shane as well, he’s also a strong character and someone you don’t want to mess with.
The book had twists and turns, some I guessed and some I didn’t, either way it’s still an incredible book! The suspense and tension are well maintained which kept me on the edge of my seat. And the ending?? I need book 2 in my life asap 😂
Overall, I really really liked this book, the plot was incredible and so were the characters. An amazing dark romance, so if that’s your kind of thing along with gangs, assassins, slow burn and so much more then you’ll love this.

What a debut.
Kenzo Ash does a great job at juggling dark with snarky. I am absolutely bananas for a strong FMC, and Anastasia absolutely doesn't disappoint.
Strong, intelligent, determined, and absolutely lethal, Anastasia plays by no one's rules, but hers.
Shane is torn between duty and family, and for him, family and duty are at least two strands of his DNA.
Anastasia knows no family in the true sense, even though hers is prominent and loud.
Shane only knows family first, himself second.
So when these two forces clash, sparks ensue. And pools of blood.
I'm beyond excited for the next book in the series. THAT ENDING, my god.

WHAT A BOOK!!!!!
this was my first dark romance book & it did not disappoint holy hell
I love an enemies to lovers style and this was the SLOWEST slow burn of ENEMIES & I ate it right up 🖤
there are so many plot twists & storylines that are so impressive and I never would have guessed any of them which I love ☺️
and Shane & Anastasia omg I love their nature & their dynamic it’s soooooo good and so addicting
overall I’m absolutely obsessed and going straight into book 2 🫡

This book might be one of my fav reads of the year!
I haven’t found one page of this book boring. The spice? The tension? AMAZING!! I can’t wait for Silver Ties to be published! Also the plottwist with Benjamin?! He’s been sus from the beginning not gonna lie. Can’t wait to read more about Shane and Anastasia!!

This Book was a rollercoaster that I did not want to get off of.
It had tension, spice, and plenty of twists and turns where I found myself fully immersed in the story!
Kudos to this author in the ability to keep a reader hooked.
I will be reading the next book for sure because I need me some more.

The mutual obsession!! The hate !! This is true enemies to whatever the hell they are. How they can hate but also yearn for each other is beyond me, but i LOVE it.
I can't wait for the truth to unfold and im so excited for the next part.
