Let me tell you a story! I love to write. My books are filled with characters that are near and dear to my heart, and my supreme wish is that you will feel the same way after you read about them.

My romantic mysteries contain an exciting array of love stories, different ages, different locations, even a few taking place in a different time. They are sweet romances, which means that even though those great feelings of attraction and passion as love builds between two people flow through my stories, you will not find any graphic descriptions of sexual interludes (and no graphic violence either, for that matter)on the page.

The list here includes short stories as well, a fun way to enjoy a romance when time is short.

New to the list are my new novels for middle grade students (grade 4-5-6), a series of touching and fun stories beginning with "Isabel the Invisible" in the series called "The Kids of Room 6A", and a soon to appear mystery and adventure series set in 1890 Montana. Stay tuned!

I'm a teacher and family therapist as well as a writer. I truly believe that love, in all its forms, is what makes life worthwhile, and that is a lot of the motivation that keeps me writing. I hope you enjoy what you find here! I love to hear from readers. Contact me at ChristineABush@aol.com

Wonderful, refreshing and (somewhat) original; this is a story of friendship and romance with a touch of a thriller, all taking place in a genuine castle. Back in the day, when nurses actually wore white dresses, white stockings, white shoes and, of course, a white nurse's cap. And if that isn't all, they can be assigned to private patients all while the country doctor makes house calls. Yup, actually comes to the house!!
An excellent throwback without a cell phone or computer in sight, the characters, aka the hostile/greedy/evil/conniving family members of the (wealthy) elderly lady of the house, are unusual but well rounded, the plot is interesting and fairly fast paced, the hero doctor is yummy and single and the castle...well, when there is a fortune in inheritance at stake it wouldn't be surprising if even the family's ghosts walk the halls of their beloved castle.
An all around 5 full stars!!

This book is now titled Courageous Heart although when I got it, it was Warning at Eagle's Nest.

I'm not sure on when this story is supposed to take place but I'm thinking that it's not recent. It's not "historical" fiction but it's not bang up to date either. This in no way detracts from the storyline, it's just that I like to know when I am.

The story moves along quite nicely with updates along the way. The characters are all nicely rounded or not so nicely rounded in some of the cases, but like them or loathe them, they are believable.

I don't usually try to figure out whodunnit when I'm reading a mystery as I like to let the story develop and take me to its conclusion but for this book it became increasingly obvious who the culprit was. However, there was still enough action going on that this was also not a problem.

This is a very gentle romance, more fluttering stomachs than heat, but still enjoyable. The first in a series.

With the flavor of Victoria Holt, Ms. Bush draws the reader into intrigue on the cliffs of Maine. Hillary Holt fulfills an obligation, sacrificing her dream job to care for a spirited old lady in a fortress by the sea. Despite the greedy relatives, isolated locale, and series of events that threaten her, Hillary becomes fond of her patient and a new, handsome man who may or may not feel an equal attraction. This is a wonderful who's-doing-it with strong characters and a page-turner plot.

A shorter book than many I read, not too complicated , not too many characters to good bedtime reading as not too much concentration. I wasn't sure quite when the story was set, but enjoyed it all the same

Clearly a nice story

a very nice story. Lots of twists and turns and a clean romance. I would love to see more towards the end regarding the two love birds bit I am sure that is another book.

I hope it was good

I got this book by mistake, but I read it anyway. It's a good read and kept me reading, just to see who was trying kill her. A fast read and interesting to say the least.

An old fashion gothic novel that was a nice change of pace for me and reminded me of my teen years when I lived for gothic romances. The mushy and the whodunit all rolled up in one.

This is a very sweet romantic mystery. I enjoyed reading it, the characters were many. The culprit and the ending was surprising.
