A short and informative read. Definitely the history of the cowboy hat. Stetson would enjoy it. I loved a lot of the beautiful images of life in the west and gorgeous sombreros.

I feel like I'm cheating if I mark this as 'read' toward my book reading goal this year, because it's a picture book.

Which is fine! Books of photos are great, and can be very inspiring, but the title of this book made me think I was going to learn something from it. I did not. I returned the book to the library, so I can't give you any examples of the asinine language it used, probably because I've blocked them out.

So... make like Playboy, and read it for the pictures.
