Sweet easy reas

This was a good and sweet read. It would serve as a good palate cleanser. Both MC has been emotionally influenced by their ex partners so they have to learn to grow together. We get to see a lot of the pregnancy which I loved. Changes I would make would be hearing more about their past relationship. It seems to be glossed over. Another change I would make is add some BDSM scenes. The MC owns a BDSM club and has a bunch unique kink but you don't see any of this.

So our alphas and omegas are moving into the world of Kink in a new club called Cuffed. Talon is one of the owners and a master of fire play, Rowan has just been hired as a bartender tight before the opening night. There is definitely an interest between them from the start, Talon having only Rowan bring him drinks to his office, and proposing a “date” for a more in depth tour of the club so Rowan can see what might interest him. Things move very quickly to mating and more. Pregnancy is a given in these series, but the pregnancy affords a time for both to learn more about each other.

I enjoyed the book, the pregnancy in this one bringing back some fond memories of long ago pregnancies and the emotional ups and downs that go hand in hand with growing a new life. I would have liked the book to be longer, or else another follow up book for Rowan and Talon, to learn more of their back stories with their exes, and Rowan’s experiences delving into the world of kink. Did he like fire play with Talon, did whips become an interest, did he fit in well with this new world? Books to follow couples hasn’t been the norm in series in the past, but I could see the potential. Anyway, an entertaining story with interesting characters and a new twist with kink from the pens that make up Lorelei M Hart.

This book was extremely shallow and lacking in any character building or conflict. I read to 70% and then skimmed to the end.

I kept waiting for conflict to appear, we had the set up for it, Rowan has an abusive alpha ex, Talon had some mysterious betrayal by an omega..but literally nothing happened. The best we got was a chapter of high blood pressure during Rowan's pregnancy but even that went away with nothing happening but some swollen ankles. Also for traumatized people they sure seemed to move past that trauma incredibly fast and easily. Im also not sure we ever learned Talons trauma? Possible I skimmed past it on accident though.

Side characters exist and some even have names, and pretty much nothing else about them. Vivian came outta no where at some point or I missed her entirely, suddenly there was a woman named Vivian im guessing a maid but I dont remember her ever being mentioned until the last 20% of the book. Main characters besties are also basically 1 dimensional and dont exist.

The spice is pretty minimal in this book, for a man that owns a kink club this is also incredibly vanilla. There's very light spanking and then they mostly just talk about things they could eventually try....and never try them.

Last gripe, im super confused at the mention of lube in one scene. This is omegaverse and a Alpha x Omega pairing thats one of the benefits of omegaverse? Slick was mentioned so its not like this is a AU where that didnt exist.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. I have never read a Mpreg novel. I feel like this was a great introduction. I will definitely read more from this author. The book is a novella so it does not go into a lot of detail about the process. At the end of the day, it seems like a regular M/M book with the ability for the man/omega to get pregnant.

The story was nice and I enjoyed it. I am willing to read more of this series. Rowan James is an omega. He came to Cuffed to find a job. Talon Marwood, one of the owners, feels a connection to Rowan right away. He, unfortunately, is not interested in being in another mated pair. Both Rowen and Talon have pasts that alter their views, but cannot fight the attraction they have. When they finally break down, they realize they are a fated pair. Once Talon claims Rowan and vice versa, nothing can tear them apart. Talon is the sweetest alpha and learns how to take care of his omega. Once Rowan finds out he is pregnant, Talon takes on the role of the doting alpha.

I really want to get more into this genre. I love M/M and Mpreg adds a new and interesting element. I enjoyed the book and the characters. Ms. Hart has a way to make her characters human and very likable. I am happy I discovered her books.

The start to His Alpha Desires don’t start if you don’t plan on finishing in one setting so comfortable. Talon an alpha owner of a new club Cuffed but not only is the owner has been hurt by an omega so relationship is the last thing he wants or will want but the last interview he with an omega may just be his mate and he can’t seem to get him off his mind, so he does the only thing he knows to do use work. Rowan is sweet looking for work after a bad breakup working as a bartender at the new club from the moment of the interview, he felt an intense attraction to his boss request only him bring his drinks to his office also propose a date for an in-depth tour of the club of course he accepts. The date of course leads to so much more especially to them realizing they are fated mates the more time they spend with and around each other they can’t keep their hands off each other which of course leads to a pregnancy, but will they realize that not all relationships end badly, will they stick around with one another to raise their baby, and can they find happiness this time around with one another?

This felt like a rough draft. Lots of telling not a lot of showing. Sex scenes were skipped over, and not in a tasteful fade-to-black kind of way, it seemed like the authors couldn't be bothered to finish their story before publishing it. I wanted to give up when it seemed like Rowan and Talon were going to talk about their past relationships, and all we got was a single sentence saying that they discussed it and everything was hunky dory. Why was Talon so averse to fated mates? What did his previous partner do that hurt him so badly? We never find out, he just rushes into a relationship with Rowan.

For an erotica about BDSM, the most non-vanilla thing that happens in this book is a bit of spanking. Yawn.

Another thing, how disconnected from human society are the shifters? Enough so that Rowan is uncomfortable with an ultrasound machine, and Talon acknowledges that it's the most advanced piece of equipment he's ever seen a "healer" have before, but they're intertwined to the degree that they know about BDSM?? Make it make sense.

This is book 1 of a new series called His Alpha Desires by the writing duo of Lorelei M Hart. You know I'm a sucker for their books. When I saw this one, pop up on Booksprout, with the added bonus of it being a brand new series... I just had to have it.

This new series revolves around the new club in town, Cuffed. This first book is about one of the alpha club owners and an omega who needs a job after leaving his ex. If the book had been a little longer we could have gotten more details about the club itself, but that's what happens when you pick 100 page books to read. For me it's definitely a lost opportunity.

Can't wait to see who's up next!

Fated mates, opposites attract, hurt/comfort, mpreg, HEA

Rowan is an omega has come to this new club looking for a job. He hopes to get it. He is a bit anxious but holding strong. Then his name is called.
Talon, is an alpha, and owns a club that will be very discreet. He sends for the next candidate and meets Rowan. He is drawn to him but is leery. He hires him for the last bar tender position then takes him on a tour of the club.
Rowan is drawn to Talon but stays professional.
The two seem to move around each other. Rowan needs the job and doesn't want to jeopardize it. Then he is surprised and shocked when Talon invites him out on a date. They draw closer together. But their pasts intrude at odd moments which could cause issues. Will they be able to get past these histories and become what they're meant to be?
A beautiful story of love!.

I really enjoyed this story. It’s another short afternoon read, just over 100 pages. The place is a BDSM club where our two men (alpha and omega) meet and fall into insta-attraction. Mr. Alpha thinks there’s no way he’ll ever be in a relationship with an omega again. Ha! That doesn’t last long. The relationship between the two progresses quickly. BDSM is a subject in this book but it’s not a big thing. There’s a little spanking between the MC’s. Talks about exploring more but that doesn’t happen in this book. This is another story that’s more fluff than rough. And some very typical alpha/omega tropes. It’s sweet and the alpha falls hard.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I really enjoyed how Rowan and Talon met and became mated. Rowan was being interviewed for a new job in a new sex club Cuffed. When he was interviewed by one of the owners, Talon, Rowan was very impressed with him and wanted him to play with him, but also he felt he was his mate. Talon had been hurt by an omega in his past and didn’t want a relationship, but he couldn’t deny the attraction and the draw towards Rowan. Eventually they went on a date and they both knew that they were fated and they mated and Rowan became pregnant. They go onto their happily ever after along with a brand-new baby boy.

This is the first book in His Omega Desires series. This is the story of Rowan James and Talon Marwood. Rowan is a bartender who is applying for a job at Cuffed. He is an omega wolf shifter who desperately wants to please people. Rowan is also a submissive. Talon is one of the owners at Cuffed and an alpha wolf shifter. He is also a well respected Dom. After the initial interview, Rowan is hired. Both felt the instant and immediate pull to one another. But both of them are recovering from a previous bad relationship. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I liked how Rowan and Talon complimented each other.

Rowan never thought a sex club would be a place for him but applying at cuffed was a great choice for him. Not only did he learn more about a possible love for kinks but also there was the irresistible alpha and owner Talon who seemed interested.

If your into sexual kink play, cute omegas and alphas who just want love and their kinks fulfilled this is the book for you.

I love how even though we get some emotional parts the books stays relatively low angst and the relationship between Talon and Rowan is downright adorable.

So if you love your omegas cute but feisty, your alphas kinky but adorable and your books full of spicy moments this is the book for you:.

I loved Such a Good Omega Book 1 of His Alpha Desires. Talon wasn’t looking for an omega but when he met Rowan he felt an instant connection. Rowan had left an abusive relationship and still carries the burden if it around but he knows that Talon is his fated mate and wants to pursue it. Talon plans to keep it to the club but he quickly realize Rowan is more important than he ever imagined. I loved the story and the characters. Talon and Rowan both need to heal and believe in their love. I would definitely recommend this book and look forward to more in the series.

This was a great book, with stellar characters. Readers get a perfunctory background of both mains as the story is very present focused. Yet, the past has a way of sneaking up, despite best intentions. Rowan suffers with fairly low self-esteem and self-worth. Talon, highly observant and atune to those around him, is quick to realize this and it's interesting reading how he works to rebuild what's been broken. The Dom, however, has his own past and hurts he guards. Will these two, who are so focused on the present, be able to overcome the challenges of their pasts and forge a future?

Rowan got a job as a bartender at Cuffs a kink club his wolf and him were interested in Talon one of the owners who interviewed him. Talon had Rowan deliver drinks to his office he wanted to know Rowan after a bad relationship he didn’t believe in fated mates. On Rowan’s day off he had a date with Talon gave into their feelings. One night a customer tried something with Rowan even though he had his off-limits cuff on, Talon took of the person. Rowan became Talon’s personal assistant after that. Rowan had to show Talon they were fated mates.

Sexy, hot! Rowan, a relatively vanilla omega interviews to work at a kink club. He is shocked to find out he is interviewing with one of the owners, Mr Marwood. Then, one look at Talon Marwood and he was blown away with lust. Talon, stepping outside his norm for Rowan is all kinds of hot!This is a cute story of smolder throughout watching the employer/employee relationship grow and reform. Talon, being all growly protective of Rowan keeps you wondering what he will do or say next. Fun, funny story keeps you on your toes. Nicely done. This was book 1 in the "His Alpha Desires" series. This was a short quick read from one of my favorite duo's. Rowan James has just left his abusive alpha he has applied for a job at a new club that opening when he meets one of the hot sexy alphas who owns the club. Talon Marwood is a multimillionaire when decides to open a kink club with his friends. This was a pretty good read this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

He Needed That Job

Rowan had left his abusive, now ex boyfriend. He needed a job. When he went for the interview he didn’t think his life would change drastically. Talon knew as soon as he saw Rowan that he was exactly what the club needed. As Rowan bartended, Talon became more obsessed and became more possessive. The two collided together and all at once they couldn’t be away from each other. This story is sweet as two characters find their True love.

I loved this book! The story of Rowan and Talon is sweet and sexy and a whole lot of awesome! They meet when Talon hires Rowan to work at the new club he is opening with his friends. It isn’t long until they give in to the chemistry between them and it will lead them to their happily ever after, something Talon thought he would never have.

Love at first sight. But he's your boss!

This is a small departure from your typical Lorelei book. I loved that the background was a link club. Cuffed! Talon and Rowan compliment each other so well. I love how curious Rowan is. How possessive and protective Talon is. Their love is so powerful. I was swept up in their story from the first pages. I know you will love this book as much as I did. So, don't wait. Get it Now!

I loved this book. I wish it was longer. Good world building and wonderful characters. The chemistry between Rowan and Talon even at their first meeting was delicious. You could really feel the pull between them. I was disappointed that their first time was rushed- not even half a page. It felt too fast-paced after that. Both men had their insecurities to battle from past relationships. But I loved the bon between them. A great start to a new series. 4 stars.

I really loved this book.

Talon and Rowan were fantastic characters, and they balances each other out perfectly.

Plotline was fun and steamy. Would have liked to see Talon, who is said to be an alpha with kinks - thus the club - use the club setting with Rowan at least once.

Rowan showed up at cuff Club for a job interview. He had recently escaped an abusive relationship. Talon is one of the owners of the club. He took an instant liking to Rowan. With time and praise he was able to build Rowan's confidence back up. I really really enjoyed this book.

Rowan is attracted to Talon but doesn't know about the claiming at first but has no objections when he finds out. It is quick paced and flows well. I liked both Talon and Rowan.

It was fine. Not really much to say as it only 100 pages, I do wish the writing was a bit better in terms of grammer and flow. I liked the characters though and the fact that everything moved fast can only be expected in a quick read like this. Overall not a bad way to spend an hour when needing a break
