Kylie loves her tight-knit circle of friends in Brisbane, Australia but longs for some adventure. After quitting the latest in a long line of boring office jobs, she & her best friend book a trip around Europe to find out if there could be something more to life.
Seth has just had the worst month of his life. After an unfortunate fumble on the ice that cost them the Stanley Cup, the captain of the Calgary Mounties NHL team needs to get away from the media and fans to get his head right. His best friend and teammate convinces him to join him on a trip around Europe, where no one knows who they are, and allows him the chance to be a regular guy for a change.
From their first meeting, the attraction is undeniable. Drawn to the bubbly Australian woman who is so full of life, the introverted Canadian hockey player rediscovers a version of himself that he’d long forgotten existed, while keeping his high profile public life a secret.
Knowing their fling has an expiry date, they return to their everyday lives and let the memory fade.
But can they?
Set between Europe, Australia and Canada, Chasing Horizons is the second book in the Circle of Friends series and explores the highs and lows of intercontinental relationships and finding themselves along the way.
Allison A. Andrews is a wife and mother of one based in Brisbane, Australia.
Having always been an avid reader with an overactive imagination, when she isn't writing, she loves spending time with family and friends, travelling the world, and dreaming of the next story she can tell.
I loved this adorable romance between Seth and Kylie.
Who would think you would fall in love with someone you meet on a European holiday? Reading about Seth and Kylie's adventures overseas with their friends absolutely made me reminiscent of my own Contiki holiday many years ago! I love Kylie's chaotic nature and how she brings Seth's shy self out of his shell. I loved Kylie's braveness in upending her life to find her own dream overseas, with the hope of also reconnecting with Seth at the same time. The hockey aspect was exciting but I'll definitely admit that the fame and fortune seeking puck bunnies drove me mad! Along with the horrible reality of what fame can mean in terms of social media.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing what happens next in this series with Tara.
I am reminded of a saying from an Australian ad "Sometimes you have to get lost to find yourself" This is very fitting for the Australian Authors book. Kylie... beautiful unsettled Kylie take a tour and finds a holiday romance and in doing so finds herself, her home 💚. There's also Hockey for you hockey romance fans. ❤️
I was so excited to be given the opportunity to read Chasing Horizons early if you’ve followed me for awhile you know I’m a complete sucker for a hockey player haha
This books was so adorable I loved all the characters so much especially Seth omg he was so amazing!! It really have the whole opposites attract vibe. I really enjoyed his and Kylie’s dynamic they were everything that the other needed. Seth was so quiet and reserved (for good reason) and Kylie was so outspoken, bubbly and confident.
It was so fun reading and following along on their European adventure and I’ll admit it made me abit jealous now I wish I could go. This had to have been one of the best meet cutes I’ve ever read.
I really enjoyed this book it was so heartwarming and fun at the same time. Also I loved all the other characters and cannot wait for Tara’s story. Linc as well was so funny I loved him too! I cannot wait to see what happens with the rest of this series!
4.5🌟 I really enjoyed the first book in this series, The Winning Ticket, but Chasing Horizons was (imo), even better! 😍 I adore a "person is famous but the other has no idea who they are" story. And since I don't read blurbs or descriptions, I was delighted that this was that kind of book. Kylie and Seth were well drawn, with very relatable issues (minus the one being very wealthy - I wish I could relate to THAT!), and I was rooting for them the entire time. What a great addition to the Circle of Friends series!💖
I absolutely loved reading The Winning Ticket, the first book in the Circle of Friends series, so I jumped at the chance to apply for the ARC of this book.
I loved this one just as much as the first book. It’s once again such an easy read and I just found myself not wanting to put it down. This one is an ice hockey romance with Seth being the captain of the team. We’ve met Kylie already in the first book and the two meet while on a European holiday tour.
I felt so connected to the two characters. Seth is introverted and prefers to stay away from the spotlight while Kylie is extroverted but often feels as though she is too much for people. Despite being so different & from two different parts of the world their connection is instant and I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow.
As well as the romantic relationship I loved the friendships in this book. Kylie and Tara have been close for years. I liked seeing how the breakdown of Will & Annalisa’s (Kylie’s brother & Tara’s sister) relationship has affected not only their friendship but the friend group as a whole. It’s just so realistic which I enjoy so much.
Speaking of Will & Annalisa, I like how there’s a mystery to what happened with Will hinting that there’s more than what everyone knows. With Tara’s book being next I’m excited to learn more as well as see her love story.
A 4.5 ⭐️hockey romance with 🌶️🌶️spice. The story follows Kylie and Seth who meet on a Europe holiday tour. Kylie and her bestie Tara meet up and strike a great connection with Seth and Lincoln who are both Hockey players for a Canadian team. Kylie is drawn to Seth and his reserved nature (curious on what makes him tick) and Seth is drawn to her outgoing personality. Well worth the read with an entertaining story and a HEA.
This was such a cute feel good book. Gave all the romance feels and pretty sure I’ve found a new book boyfriend 😍 after reading the first book in this series, I was excited to learn there was a second one coming out and it didn’t disappoint. Loved the meet cute, the different countries visited, the excitement of sports and the wholesome love feelings.
4.5 Chasing Horizons was a great read, Aussie surfers girl meets Canadian hockey star.
This book had me kicking my feet with how utterly cute this couple was and rooting for them to make it work across the ocean. I really enjoy this series and can't wait for the next one.
This is another beautiful romance that i couldn't put down and never wanted to end. I saw a lot of my husband and myself in Seth and Kylie. There is nothing like feeling your best self around the person you love most. This book is very much worth reading and i can't wait to read book 3!!!
Oh. My god. I am absolutely obsessed with Seth Davidson. This man OMG 😍 This was the absolute sweetest story and had me kicking my feet in the first few chapters! There’s just something about a holiday romance 🥰 Seth and Kylie both meet on a tour around Europe and things really blossom between the two. They both have an unbelievable trip with their two best friends but the trip has to come to an end. Knowing their fling has an expiry date, they part ways and go back to their everyday lives, hoping the memory of each other fades. But can it really? With a love like theirs you absolutely know it can’t and when they reunite is a surprising circumstance you will absolutely be kicking your feet! Highly highly recommend this beautiful holiday romance 😍 and if you love a hockey romance it’s got that too 😉
This was such a sweet, fun romance between Seth, Canadian hockey player, and Kylie, Australian surfer girl. Instantly Andrews had my attention with how quintessentially Aussie (without being OTT) Kylie was, and how much I loved reading her and Seth fall in lust, then in love.
I do love a good holiday romance, and this one sweeps you away as you join Seth and Kylie - and Tara and Linc - on their European adventure. Kylie is chaotic, but I lived for it. I saw so much of myself in her, in her mannerisms, and I love that Seth turned out to be that perfect balance for her, without judgement. On the flipside, I love that quiet-natured Seth became more outgoing and adventurous because of Kylie; they really do complement each other beautifully.
Now, I didn't manage to read book one before diving into this, and I feel I started off on the backfoot of some of the drama contained in these pages. BUT in saying that, Andrews recaps it well enough that you don't feel lost as you're reading about the history between Kylie's brother, Will, and her best friend - Tara's - sister, which leads to some tension filled moments through this story.
Seth and Kylie are both incredibly relatable, and I love that she wrote a hockey player that almost seems more human than we give celebrities credit for. I also really love that whilst Andrews has written a spicy book, it's not overwhelming in that area, and you can feel all the emotion between the two MCs during those scenes. It certainly was incredibly crafted and built the bond and the relationship between Seth and Kylie so much more.
Round all of this out with a great group of side characters, and it's safe to say I cannot wait for more of this series. I'm definitely intrigued for Tara's book, and the possibility of Lincoln's has me excited, too!
Thank you to the author for the eARC opportunity. These are my honest thoughts that I have provided voluntarily.
I was thrilled to dive into Chasing Horizons because I have a soft spot for hockey romances, and this one certainly delivered! The pacing was spot-on, and the witty banter among the Aussie characters added a delightful touch.
The story begins when Seth and Kylie meet on a life changing trip. They agree to keep things casual, given their long-distance situation, but as they share special moments, it becomes clear their connection runs deeper than friendship. They decide to savor their time together, navigating the ups and downs of their relationship.
During a rough patch, I found myself sympathizing with both characters, but I particularly resonated with Seth. His internal struggle about making a significant decision highlighted his shy, introverted nature, making him all the more relatable.
Kylie is an extrovert who loves being the life of the party, but she’s ready to embrace new experiences and longs for something more fulfilling. Encouraged by her brother, she takes a leap and joins her friend Tara on a trip around Europe, seeking adventure and fun.
Seth is introverted and thoughtful, still recovering from a devastating hockey injury and an embarrassing loss. His friend Linc drags him along on the European adventure, hoping to help him escape recognition and just be himself something he never expected to achieve while meeting a captivating Aussie girl.
This book beautifully explores themes of love, loss, and personal growth. While Kylie's friendship group may have drifted apart, they emerge stronger and wiser. I’m especially curious about Will and Annelisa's story and can't wait for future installments to see where their journey leads. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and think it’s now my favorite in the series. Lincoln's character also added a great dynamic, making me eager for more!
Chasing Horizons is one of those books that you didn't know you needed to read until you do. It has a ready made set of lovely friends and family that watch out for each other, a tour of Europe, a romance that leaves you wanting to read more and a wholesomeness that is just the right level instead of not enough or 'shove down your throat' over the top.
This is the second book in the series and we meet Kylie and Seth in this edition. Seth is not your typical 'womaniser' jock, being a man of few words and sincere in his actions and relationships instead of letting his fame get him in trouble. Kylie is a loud and proud person, who unlike a lot of female characters, loves herself and is confident about who she is. So refreshing to see a character that doesn't doubt and need reassurance every 5 minutes!
They meet on a tour that mirrored my own experience in the day on a Contiki tour. They went to all the same haunts and I'm pretty sure our tour guide's name was Kylie Anderson too! The parallels! ...and the pics we took in front of the sex museum in Amsterdam... ;)
The story that they go on is lovely and I love the way that they can reflect on their own parts of their experience throughout the journey. The man who finds it hard to speak doesn't magically decide he can to win the day but the woman he loves makes it easier for him to express himself by giving him what he needs. The woman who is hung up on needing something that she can't ask for, decides that she doesn't actually have to ask to 'ask'. There is no huge 'regret inducing' compromises that are made to achieve their happily ever after.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5. Thanks so much for allowing me to be part of the Journey of Chasing Horizons, Allison! Sign me up for Tara's story already please!!
Seth and Kylie meet while on vacation in Paris. Kylie is from Australia, and Seth is from Canada. Both are on these vacations for different reasons, but after meeting their little groups, stick on tour together for the next few weeks as they romp around Europe. Both Kylie and Seth are fighting their attraction, knowing it could only be a vacation fling. They both hold off on smeggsy until the last day when they finally give in. Neither exchanges contact details because it's a vacation fling. It just so happens that Kylie has family in Canada, specifically Calgary. She has quit her job before the trip and decides a month after getting back that she's going to Canada to explore options. What she doesn't realize, Seth hadn't told her he was a superstar NHL player and captain of his team. Upon discovery at one of his games, it's like they pick back up where the fling left off.
This relationship was spot on with a vacation fling that turned into more, but someone had to give up a previous life. Neither could be away from each other for long, and it showed. The smeggsy scenes were a little spicy and good. The author mentions in the acknowledgments that the hockey team may be given a series, and I'll be here for it. As this was an interconnected stand-alone, I don't feel like I missed out in book 1, seeing how it wasn't a hockey book, just another love story in a circle of friends.
Thank you, author, for the ARC! Release Date: October 30, 2024
The second book in the Circle of Friends series follows Kylie as she and her best friend leave Australia and go on a European holiday. Kylie is the life of the party, the extrovert.
Seth is the Captain of the Calgary Mounties NHL team, and his best friend has convinced him to go on this trip to escape the media and fans after an incident that cost them the Stanley Cup. Unlike Kylie, he's the complete opposite, an introvert who, outside of hockey, is shy and hates socialising.
We watch as the four of them become friends and spend the trip exploring the areas together. Kylie and Seth get to know each other on a deeper level, but there's something that's holding Seth back from being completely honest with her.
What happens when at the end of their fling, Kylie decides to go live in Calgary with her grandparents for three months and goes to her first ever ice hockey game?
The chemistry between the two MC's is undeniable and I love how Allison has written this across not just Canada and Australia, but the many European countries their tour takes in. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and am looking forward to what she has in store for her readers next.
4 stars
While reading book one in the series before starting this one isn't necessarily required, it would help to understand more clearly the dynamics within the friendship circle.
In Chasing Horizons, the second book in the Circle of Friends series, adventurous Australian Kylie and Canadian NHL player Seth are drawn together on a life-changing European trip, where their undeniable chemistry challenges them to balance their personal growth and the realities of their vastly different lives, all while navigating a secret fling that may have a lasting impact.
While this wasn't the friend I expected to be the focus of the story, I'm so excited to have finally read my first hockey romance! I found myself kicking my feet in some parts of the book and absolutely loved the idea of meeting your forever on a tour. Like, does that happen in real life, and how do I get in on the next one?
I've only left New Zealand once before, but this book has seriously got me considering travel and even attending the tours they offer. I did imagine there would be more anxiety around being in the public eye, especially with Kylie's ADHD, and thought she might hyper-fixate on it, but it wasn't explored in depth, which I'm honestly relieved about — I’m glad we didn’t dive into the potential nightmare that could've been.
Overall, I loved the book, and now I have a whole new set of hockey books on top of my TBR. I can’t wait for the next story and am hoping and praying we get to find out what happened with Annelisa!
Chasing Horizons by Allison A. Andrews is a charming story that feels like a delightful escape. Following Kylie, a spirited Australian woman exploring Europe with her best friend, this novel combines the allure of travel with the thrill of romance. Enter Seth, the handsome captain of the Canadian ice hockey team, the Mounties. Though wrestling with a tough year, Seth keeps his identity a secret, allowing him and Kylie to connect on a genuine level. Their interactions, filled with flirtation and sweet, light-hearted moments, add a wonderful warmth to the story.
The chemistry between Seth and Kylie is immediate, and their decision to keep things as a “holiday romance” adds a bittersweet charm to their encounters. From scenic European backdrops to intimate moments that are genuinely sweet and heart-warming, Andrews captures the essence of a romance that feels both dreamy and grounded. Seth’s quiet, hidden struggles add depth, balancing Kylie’s adventurous spirit and vulnerability, making their relationship feel realistic and tender.
I particularly enjoyed the lightness of this read – perfect for fans of easy, heart-warming romances that blend the excitement of travel with a story of connection and longing. The eventual realization of the true impact they have on each other is poignant, with just enough tension as they grapple with their feelings across continents. The way Andrews navigates their long-distance predicament without contact adds a realistic twist that highlights how meaningful brief encounters can be.
Overall, Chasing Horizons is an engaging read, beautifully capturing the joy of a holiday romance while exploring deeper themes of belonging and connection. It’s an ideal pick for those looking for a sweet, escapist story. I loved the book and rated it 4 stars for its charm, endearing characters, and heart-warming storyline.
“Honestly, my mother raised me to love myself. I’ve never been one to compare myself to others. I’m fit. I run, surf when I can, and am always up for a hike and stuff, but I also like food. I will never be a supermodel, but that wasn’t my dream, anyway.”
Kylie, an Australian who finds comfort in the familiar hum of Brisbane’s streets, craves something more. She quits her latest dull job, grabs her best friend, and books a trip to Europe, hoping to spark a new adventure. Meanwhile, Seth, captain of the Calgary Mounties, is desperate to escape the pressures of fame and a recent career-defining loss. When his teammate suggests a European getaway, Seth jumps at the chance to blend in and be a regular guy for once. In Europe, he meets Kylie, a vibrant force who lives with her heart wide open, and together they dive into a whirlwind romance of stolen moments and shared laughter. Yet, as they part ways, an unspoken question lingers: was their connection just a fleeting spark, or the beginning of something worth crossing oceans for?
Chasing Horizons perfectly captures the excitement of travel and shows that love can really conquer any distance. It’s ideal for anyone who believes in the magic of serendipity! This book is such a page-turner and proves that the best adventures often come when you least expect them!
A big thanks to Allison A. Andrews for sending me a digital ARC of this book!
I was so excited to read the next instalment in the Circle of Friends Series, and it didn't disappoint.
Allison has a way of writing her characters in a way that makes you fall in love with them. Kylie, our chaotic FMC meets introvert MMC Seth on a tour in Europe and sparks fly. When the holiday comes to an end, they try to navigate the highs and lows of their intercontinental relationship. Without giving away any spoilers Kylie and Seth's relationship has a natural evolution, and didn't feel rushed at all. Their banter was top notch, I kept finding myself smiling like a goofball while reading because it was just so effortless.
I absolutely loved Lincoln and would love for him to have his own book. I feel like a spinoff for The Mounties is required.
Overall this was a beautifully written romance novel in an interconnected series. It was a very cute, heart-warming read. I love that we got to see friends from The Winning Ticket and I can't wait to read Tara's book next when it's released.
Favourite Quote that had me sobbing!
"Ask me the question, Seth Davidson." I whisper.
"Fucking stay with me. Don't Leave." he replies his voice catching.
Thank you Allison for providing me with an Advanced Reader Copy and giving me the opportunity to read this before its release October 30th.

I read this in less than 24 hours, and the only reason I put it down at one point is because suddenly it was nearly midnight and I had to be up in 4 hours’ time 🫣
This book was everything you want a contemporary romance novel to be. There are some really fun tropes and themes - he’s famous (and she doesn’t know it), he’s socially awkward but has ✨ BIG ✨ golden retriever energy, they meet abroad, and how can I forgot HOCKEY 🏒
This story follows Seth and Kylie, as they meet abroad and fall head over heels in 3 weeks, only to go back home to opposite sides of the world. It explores their relationship and how love can conquer all, even the span of the world, no matter how stubborn each character is in refusing to admit that they’re in love with the other.
While this story has spice, it’s not overboard, it’s not too erotic or thrown in your face. It’s sweet and loving and really reflects the dynamic of the relationship between the two characters, and I adore that so much. This book has plot, and I was hooked. It is well written, and I love the Australian representation 😜 I’m so excited to read more about Tara! Her and Lincoln were so much fun to read about as side characters!
I received an ARC of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.
First and foremost, Thank you Allison for giving me the opportunity to read this as an ARC! I truely appreciate you and I enjoyed this book so much!
Now into the review!
Chasing Horizons is honestly the cutest book I’ve read all year (apart from The Winning Ticket of course). How can a book be so cute and heartwarming.
This book had me feeling all the emotions from happiness, to sadness, to love. Even to rage at one point. But that’s what makes a great book right? One that can make you feel all the feelings and still enjoy the book.
I loved Kylie and Seth’s love story. It was sweet. It was lustful. It had its tough moments. Lots of rough patches but they won in the end. This book was just perfect. 🫶
Allison, you had me going for a minute there at 85%. I thought they weren’t gonna end together and I was so worried!! But I’m so ecstatic that they ended up together in the end. 🤗
Now let’s talk about Lincoln for a minute. I think I’m in love and I can not wait for him to get a book (wink wink). He was so sweet and charming but also really funny. 🥰
Let’s face it. You right some book boyfriend worthy characters.

When I read the first book in this series (The Winning Ticket) I fell in love with the characters, anxiously awaiting the next book to be released. And Allison did not disappoint!! Kylie and Seth’s story spans multiple continents, highs and lows, and the anticipation of what’s to come as they face multiple challenges during their journey for love. The characters are well written and hold depth as you see the inner thoughts in this multiple POV romance. The banter between the main characters gives it a lighthearted and comical aspect as you find yourself rooting for their relationship to evolve throughout the book. And you are lucky enough to get a few small cameos from the previous novel in the series. Being a Canadian born living in Australia, I really appreciate the research Allison put into ensuring accuracy across the story, being sure to include locations and description that match the beauty of the country. The storyline is well written and easily flows as you progress through the pages, with parts that have you second guessing how the story will end. Overall I give this a 5⭐️ and can’t wait for the next book and any future story’s by this author.
I loved this next instalment of the Chasing Horizons series. This journey with Kylie was amazing, getting to know her as more than just a “party girl” and seeing all these beautiful sides to her was amazing.
What I would give for a trip around Europe with my bestfriend and we both meet 2 handsome men (who happen to be rich!). I love that Allison chose not to go the almost easy route of pairing up both Tara and Kylie up with the 2 men they meet, she showed Tara and Kylie also creating a real friendship with them. I loved that. It made me the trip part unpredictable for me, because I was wondering the entire time what would and wouldn’t happen.
There is a lot of ADHD rep in this book, which I LOVE. Allison portrayed the female experience of ADHD that many women can relate to and for that I am so grateful. It shows look at this, this is okay, you are okay, you are normal.
We got to revisit characters from the first instalment but I am still left the entire time wondering wtf is going on with Will and Ana!
I was so very grateful to be given the opportunity to read Chasing Horizons early, and damn it didn't disappoint. I absolutely loved this book about Kylie and Seth. It was such a cute, feel-good book, had romance and spice, and all-around an amazing swoon-worthy book. I loved that this book had a few different countries in it. How Kylie and Seth meet was during a European holiday, Seth was definitely a quiet character at first but he seemed to have warmed up to Kylie more and move and both of them started to get feelings for each other. The romance between them both was amazing and also sad in parts. Can't forget Lincoln as damn even he could tell that his best friend Seth liked Kylie and that he was way happier when she was around. What Lincoln does at the end of this book for both Kylie and Seth was just perfect. I can't wait to see what this author has in store for us in book 3 in this wonderful series now. Hands down a 5⭐️ book for me.
Im still gushing over this hockey romance! Seth and Kylies romance story was absolutely adorable!
One of the first things that drew me in was knowing our FMC Kylie was a rep for ADHD. I loved how subtle Allison wrote this into the story, and yet I could easily see and relate to Kylie and how ADHD plays a role in her life. Seth was a great MMC, whilst the opposite to Kylie in his more quiet and reserved character, he balanced Kylie out perfectly.
Their whole journey from holiday romance to moving halfway across the world was just divine 🥹. Impulsive and swoon worthy all rolled into one.
I hope we get a book based on Linc, as he was such a fun character and brought some fun banter into the book.
The pacing was spot on for this book, and the author did a fantastic job on exploring the thenee of loss, struggle, perdonal growth, and love so beautifully. It was such a feel-good and heart-warming story that you can easily devour within 24 hours.
Thank you for this gifted ARC from Allison. It was Pucking Fantastic!
Tropes: 💛He falls first 💛Introvert mmc 💛Insta-lust 💛Chaotic FMC 💛Interconnected stand-alone Series 💛Hidden identity 💛Canadian NHL player 💛ADHD and mental health rep 💛Aussie surfer girl 💛Hockey romance
Firstly I would like to thank Allison for the wonderful opportunity to read her amazing book Chasing Horizons. I loved every minute and can't wait for more.
Chasing Horizons follows Kylie and Seth. Two wonderful people who have such a wonderful connection and chemistry. These two are proof opposites attract. Kylie is an extrovert while Seth is an introvert. They complemented each other so well.
Great banter: Check. Relatable characters: Check. Swoon worthy moments: Check. Holiday fling: Check. Moments to make you giggle and kick your feet: Check.
If you’re looking for your next hockey romance look no further. You will not want to miss this one.
This was such a cute book! I honestly thought that the vacation portion of the book would be longer but I loved that it wasn’t and the story progression was actually so good!
As a fellow Aussie, I absolutely loved the book with common Aussie terms and just reading a book mentioning towns that I’ve actually been to or have lived in! This book also made me really want to just pack up and move to Canada and call it a day!
I loved Linc and I loved Willa and Seth. Willa is just a typical woman who is bubbly and loud and herself and that was so refreshing to read and I loved that Seth was more quiet. It felt like my personality being split into two people! But this book was so good and I loved that there wasn’t any moments that really dragged along and when there was tension it was resolved in a couple of chapters!
I absolutely LOVED this book!!! That I read it in one sitting!!! this was such a cute holiday romance book. The book was written beautifully and I couldn’t put it down, I loved the main characters Seth and Kylie and the relationship they develop throughout the book, they have such a cute relationship that will make any girl melt for. The storyline was great and had me hooked, giggling and kicking my legs and sitting at the edge of my seat. I love Kylies energetic nature and how she pulls Seth out of his quiet shell. The puck bunnies made me so mad towards the end of the book. I love the friendship kylie has with Tara and the adventures they go on together at the beginning of the book and the friendship that is made with Lincoln. This is definitely a book that should be added to your tbr Thank you to Allison a Andrews for giving me the opportunity to review and read this amazing book
I suck with words, and I have struggled to find a way to accurately review this book in the way it deserves.
Allison has become an always read author for me. I just love her style of writing and the way she puts so much emotional depth into her characters.
This is the 2nd book in the Circle of Friends series but can be read as a standalone, although I highly recommend the first book.
I cannot wait for books 3, 4 and 5! Hoping Linc is getting a book somewhere in there.
Seth and Kylies relationship progressed so organically, although, there were a few times I worried about how it was going to end. I loved Seth's protective side and seeing both their insecurities come out.
Outside of the relationship between Seth and Kylie I enjoyed the change in friendship dynamics between Kylies group and the new friendships Kylie makes
I really enjoyed Chasing Horizons. It was a heart-warming romance that has made me want to visit Canada even more than I already did!
Kylie meets Seth during a tour on a summer holiday to Europe. They instantly click despite their different personalities, Seth being quiet and reserved and Kylie being more outgoing but they compliment each other perfectly! But being from 2 countries on opposite sides of the world makes them believe it can be nothing more than a holiday fling.
The side characters are fantastic and I love the banter between them all. I loved Lincoln and I hope he gets his own book at some stage as well.
This is the second book in The Circle of Friends series, which can be read as a standalone. I can't wait to read future books on all the friends!
