I don’t normally review books but I see this one has as yet no community reviews. So, having spent the last few evenings in the company of Adrian Chiles, and enjoying the thoughts he shares in his Guardian column I think it would be churlish not to leave one now. He is a little younger than me but writes with wit and warmth about all kinds of stuff. From sperm count to Swedish death cleaning, from Croatian words for genitalia to glasses wearing he covers a wide range of subjects in an amusing and informative way. If you are a West Brom supporter then so much the better. He gets to grips with the stuff we all have to deal with and a lot more besides. It works because of his honesty. A right good read.
