Ова е роман лавиринт во кој се испреплетени минатото и сегашноста во мистериозна атмосфера како излезена од досега необјавен ракопис на Кафка. Се работи за приказна во која главниот јунак, писателот Феликс Рејнолдс, додека е во потрага по својот изгубен брат, открива делови од неговиот трауматичен и необичен живот. На тој пат Феликс чувствува потреба да сподели дел од она што го измачува, наместо да продолжи да го закопува во себе, затоа бара помош од психијатарот Груми Блум, кај кого честопати навраќа и, легнат на неговиот кауч, низ бројни сесии се отвора себеси. Психијатарот работи во замок кој доминира над градот каде што живее Феликс и се чини дека со замокот и со нивната земја владеат мистериозни луѓе во црно, познати како кафкависти.

About the author

Vlado Janevski is a writer, poet, painter, and comic‑book author. Born in Prostranje, Macedonia, he spent his childhood in Bitola, where he completed both primary and secondary education. His university studies were completed in Skopje. A member of the Writers’ Association of Macedonia. Janevski has travelled extensively, having visited around eighty countries.

Among his works are the novels “Lost Through Holes in the Pockets” (“Bata – Press”, Skopje, 2026), “Who Killed Edgar Allan Poe” (“Ili‑Ili”, Skopje, 2024), “Death Is Not the End” (“Ars Lamina”, Skopje, 2022), “The Dead Know Best” (“Ars Lamina”, Skopje, 2020), “A Miracle Around the Corner” (“Pagoma Press”, Skopje, 2020), “Under Another Hat” (“Magor”, Skopje, 2019), and “Made in Jabana” (“Slovo”, Skopje, 2004). His collection of award‑winning short stories “No Return” (“Studentski Zbor”, Skopje, 1985) and the poetry books “On the Back of No‑Return” (Agency for Emigration, Skopje, 2024) and “Silence‑Word” (award‑winning manuscript, “Ante Popovski – Antevo Pero”, Skopje, 2025).

Janevski has also written for young readers, including the books “The Mischievous Ones Vlatko and Emche” (“Strip‑Kvadrat”, Skopje, 2023) and “People and Dragons” (“Ars Lamina”, Skopje, 2023). His children’s comic “The Mischievous Ones Vlatko and Emche” has appeared regularly for more than three years in the “Kolibri” supplement of “Nova Makedonija”. His fairy tales are featured in the collections “White Clovers” and “New Fairy Tales from Macedonia” (“Ars Lamina”, Skopje, 2023 and 2024), and a children’s short story appears in “New Year Storytellers” (“Eduka Mak”, Skopje, 2025).

Awards:
Janevski’s work has earned numerous literary distinctions: the Golden “Pegaz” for best novel (2020), the Silver “Pegaz” for a shortlisted novel (2025), the “Stojan Hristov” award for best poetry collection (2024), the “Ante’s Gold Coin” for a high‑quality poetry manuscript (2025), and the “Script Fest” award for best feature‑film screenplay (2021). His fairy tales received two awards in the “Contemporary Fairy Tales from Macedonia” competition (2021).
Short‑story competitions have also brought him repeated first prizes from “Studentski Zbor” and “Elektrolit” (“Templum”, Skopje), where he wrote under the pseudonyms Bushy Meat and Bromofon, as well as multiple awards from “Nova Makedonija”. Additional recognition includes the “Macedonian Roots” award for achievements in literature and visual arts (2024). He has been a finalist for the “Stale Popov” award (2024), shortlisted for “Novel of the Year” (2024), and a finalist for the “Karamanov” poetry award (2025).

Beyond literature, Janevski is active in painting and has taken part in art colonies across Macedonia. His artworks are held in private collections in several countries.
