A Unique Sci-Fi Read

The Asteroid Cafe by Zachry Wheeler is a short sci-fi story about a man enjoying a quiet vacation at a remote café in orbit when unexpected events change everything.

I enjoyed the unique setting and the mix of science fiction, dark humour, and suspense. It was a quick, easy read that kept my attention throughout, and I liked the themes of isolation and human connection. While it didn't completely blow me away, it was still an entertaining story with an interesting premise and memorable atmosphere.

Highly recommend for those who enjoy short sci-fi stories with suspense, dark humour, and thought-provoking moments.

"The Asteroid Cafe" by Zachry Wheeler is a sci-fi horror short story that's out of this world (pun intended lol). The story follows Kevin’s vacation to the orbiting diner with a bed and breakfast. The Caretaker, Burt, and Kevin witness an apocalypse and watch the moon and earth face nuclear destruction.

This was a page turner and I was hooked right from the beginning. I loved the dark humor and the twist that I did not see coming! This is a must read horror short story!

Apo'co'lip'tastic (Ask Max)

Always wondered how I would feel about world destruction and being the only survivor. At least save the animals and my loved ones ... and their loved ones and...
Now, what would I order at the restaurant at the end of the Earthiverse? The same as Kevin I suppose.

Oh, Burt...
This little story has an ending I was completely unprepared for. I really liked both the characters - until the end. I can't even hint anything because it would completely give it away. This is well worth the 30 minutes it takes to read.

Who would have thought the end of the world would be such a blast! 🌎💥 Sitting at a bar in the middle of space, Kevin gets front-row seats to the apocalypse and somehow, it's kind of exhilarating. I am absolutely here for Zachry Wheeler’s twisted sense of humor. 👏🏾👏🏾

Wish it had been a bit longer

Another extremely short but interesting story, with a nice little twist in there for a bit of fun. Wish it had been a bit longer than 14 pages but still a good, fun read.
