Eileen Putman's love for England's Regency period has inspired her research trips to Britain, France and other European countries -- there being no substitute for stepping on the very soil that Beau Brummell and his champagne-polished Hessians trod in such incomparable style.

Acting the part...

In this book, acting the part is what the parties do.
Finding that the part is not all of what they are is the essence of the plot.

This was a well written story. It started out entertaining. Justin was too bent on revenge to see the obvious. I found parts of the mystery easy to figure out..some was a surprise. Justin realizes his love a little to quick at the end.

No sex! You would think posing as a mistress there would be. Some books are great without sex but this one I think needed it.

The book was an easy read and never boring.
