A good 4.5*
Yet again, I am heartbroken by the few ratings and the single (!!!) review this has received so far. Honestly late 90's kids, you can do better than this.
Yet again, this has been an absolutely pleasant read with familiar characters. It almost feels like coming home to old friends. And not even in a "I am so nostalgic about reading this" kind of way, but in a "I also would genuinely enjoy this if I had only gotten to know this series now" kind of way. The authors spices it up a bit by introducing us to faeries and all that jazz, which went surprisingly well. Not at all like other series that started at a similar time and then went totally off the rails in their mythology after a few books (and yes, I am definitely looking at you here, House of Night, for making me suffer through 8 more increasingly crazy volumes because I wanted to know how it ended).
But honestly, I have no more to say apart from that I hope the author keeps writing more stories in this world and wishing her all the best for her personal health journey.

Another fantastic book in this series. We pick up Simon and Katia's story after their visit to Hell. As a lay exorcist and demon trapper, life is never simple or easy. They have a lot to deal with and are trying to move on from the past.
Demon numbers are down in Atlanta. Although you'd think this is a good thing, its not. There's a reason for this and some of the other problems they're having with the dead being reanimated. Will they be able to figure out what's happening in time?

Oh I loved it soo much, I was so happy that I could read it so fast after the 8th book.
